It has 15 pieces of fish ( chef choice) and 8 pieces of sushi (chefs choice). The sashimi pieces are cut thick and are fresh. The rolls that came with the boat one had shrimp in it and was okay the other had soft crab in there and the flavors were just alright but nothing wow. Austin roll $14.95: The roll was decent. The fish was fresh. The spicy tuna was more on the extra whipped textured side. Kong Pao Beef with side of steam rice $14.95 : The rice had no salt which was okay because we added soy sauce. The beef was not chewy, they did just throw cashew on top where usually they do crush it and add to the dish so that your dish gets the cashew flavors as well. The sauce didn't have that authentic Chinese kong Pao Flavor that you would expect. They need to Work on their sauces and perfecting the authentic Chinese food flavor. We also got the Chili Oil Edamame and it was not that good. Was on the oiler side and not in a good way. Given that they are newer to the area the service was great. Our waitress Whitney did an amazing job and was very attentive. Overall, as said before given that we don't have any other Chinese/Sushi restaurant in the area it's worth a try.

However, for those who live close enough to a Brookshire Brothers may know that this employee-owned, community-driven grocer offers curbside pick-up, fresh local produce, hot and ready in-store made meals and store specific brands which rival those found at H-E-B. Brookshire Brothers, Brookshire Brothers Express, David's Supermarkets, David's Express, Pecan Foods, Brookshire Brothers Pharmacy and Tobacco Barn are all part of the Brookshire Brothers family. I came to this new Lago Vista location on Sunday on the way back to the Rock. This store is clean, offers a simple layout, has a decent sized fresh fruit and veggie section, reasonable prices, and a great hot and ready food section. Thing One and I purchased an 8-piece white meat bag of 'spicy' fried chicken (that wasn't so spicy), sushi, tortilla chips, and a Brookshire Brothers salsa. While the list of items may seem odd, we purchased what we did to get a taste of what this TX based store offered. We were both pleased with the fried chicken, and while it wasn't the best, it was good for a grocery store. The sushi was a miss for me, but then again, it's not a sushi bar, it's a grocer. The salsa, on the other hand, was great! If in the area, this grocer is def. worth a visit as its friendly staff, quality products, fair prices, and variety of goods offered are sure to please.

We called the restaurant to get it fixed, and my husband drove 15 minutes back to pick up the correct order. When he arrived, they only gave him one fried rice and told him to come back the next day because "something broke in the kitchen." The next day the restaurant was closed, so we waited until the following day to try again. When my husband called to finally resolve the issue, the manager told him to "f off" and said she wasn't refunding our money and wasn't giving us the second fried rice we paid for. This is hands-down the worst customer service we've ever experienced. They messed up our order, made us drive back and forth, broke their own promises, and then verbally abused us instead of making it right. We will never return, and I strongly recommend avoiding this place.

Their sushi was actually darn good but the last time we were there they had lost their sushi chef, so no sushi available. That's too bad because I would have rated them 4 stars if they still had their sushi. The staff is usually high school age kids, but they are friendly and try hard. It used to be BYOB, but I think they now have their liquor license, so no more BYOB. To me, the food is a little bland, hence my 3 star rating. It's OK to good, and I will still go there, though there are better options if you're willing to drive to Cedar Park or Austin (30+ minutes for us).

It looked like they expanded their menu since the last time we ate here. We opted for a Shoyu Beef Ramen Soup and a Hot Pot Beef Noodle Soup. We grabbed our water cups and a carafe filled with iced water from their beverage fridge, and chose our table to sit at. We chose a location away from the front entrance, which faces west towards the sun. Our food was quickly brought out to us less than 5 minutes later, and our soups were very good. They have a very spicy broth for their Hot Pot Noodle Soup, which P2 really enjoyed. I was also happy with my shoyu ramen, which I thought was seasoned perfectly. The music here wasn't loud and it was easy to carry a conversation. The interior aesthetics of this place reminded me of a Japanese restaurant, despite this restaurant servicing Taiwanese fare. Unfortunately, they don't sell alcohol here. I would have loved to drink a beer here with its solid vibes. I took off a star because of the blinding sunlight that pours into the space. Each time we came, we had to be strategic on where we sat so that we or our friends didn't have to face the sun. But other than that, Noodly Alley continues to be a reliable choice for authentic Taiwanese food.

They offer all the standard specialty coffees you'd expect plus a nice little menu of mostly bakery items . Highlight is a number of sweet and savory empanadas. Interestingly, they had passion-fruit flavored cream cheese danishes when we were there. You won't find that at a chain! If you're looking for a gluten-free option, they offer a yogurt parfait. I would have preferred more than one fruit (I got blueberries the day I was there) and a higher-fat Greek yogurt for $5.95, but at least I had options. The interior is tiny (room for two or four to dine in a pinch). Better option would be one of the exterior tables or use the drive-thru and stay in the comfort of your car. I understand the location (formerly Latte Vista) is under new management. We visited during what proprietor termed the soft opening. I literally can't say that there's one thing I don't like getting here. Sometimes we wanna keep it simple and we literally just get the pad Thai with chicken. We always ask for extra peanuts and extra lime which just puts it over the top for us. Tom kha soup is always wonderful on a cold day and the Thai tea here is unbeatable. They have regular portions and lunch portions for several popular items which is great if you do come for lunch, you also get a side salad and a tad smaller portion.
