Looking through my reviews, it seems that I have not left one for this restaurant when I thought I had and I'm sorry that I hadn't done that earlier because it's a restaurant as well worth trying. I literally can't say that there's one thing I don't like getting here. Sometimes we wanna keep it simple and we literally just get the pad Thai with chicken. We always ask for extra peanuts and extra lime which just puts it over the top for us. Tom kha soup is always wonderful on a cold day and the Thai tea here is unbeatable. They have regular portions and lunch portions for several popular items which is great if you do come for lunch, you also get a side salad and a tad smaller portion. It's perfect because it's still very filling and it saves you a little bit of money if you're looking for great Thai food on your own or to take someone to have , please come here. The restaurant isn't very big and seating gets crowded when it's packed but most days the turnover is pretty fast and the wait is never long. It's is not very loud for how small a space it is which is a plus. read more

I really enjoyed the red curry and although their prices are a bit high, their portions are huge. I also tried the green curry fried rice which wasn't my favorite but it was the first time I tried it. They have spice levels 1-10 which was nice, I got a spice level of 4 for my curry and 8 for the fried rice and it was good. I also got the try their mango sticky rice which was sooo good. Yelp fam, I finally made it over to Lemongrass by Sip Saam Thai for lunch, and let me tell you... this was one of those meals where you look at the bill afterward and go, "Whew... okay, so we're doing fine dining prices at lunchtime now." My partner and I spent just over $100 for lunch, and while some dishes hit the mark, others left me wanting a little more of that classic Thai punch. Tom Yum Soup (Shrimp, Hot Pot Style) I'm particular about Tom Yum -- like, very particular -- because when it's done right, it's one of the most aromatic, layered soups out there. Traditionally, you should get that unmistakable hit of lemongrass, kaffir lime leaf, galangal, and the brightness of lime juice all dancing together. This version was good, but it didn't quite give me the lemongrass-forward aroma I expect. I also didn't catch the bamboo shoots that usually round out the texture. The broth had heat (I ordered a 6), and the shrimp were cooked well, but the depth of flavor wasn't as bold or herbaceous as I'm used to. Still enjoyable -- just not the Tom Yum I measure all others against. Crab Fried Rice (Spicy 6) Now this was the star of the table. Plenty of crab -- and I mean throughout the rice, not just sprinkled on top for decoration. The rice itself was smooth and well‑fried, not greasy, with each grain separate (as it should be). The white and green onions added that perfect little punch of freshness and bite. This is one of those dishes where you keep going back for "just one more bite" even though you know you're full. If you come here, this is the dish I'd recommend without hesitation. Pineapple Curry (Beef, Spicy 5) The curry had a nice balance of sweet and savory, and the beef was tender. I didn't get the same "wow" factor as the fried rice, but it was solid. The spice level was accurate -- a 5 gave enough heat to keep things interesting without overpowering the coconut base. Fried Dumplings Crispy, hot, and exactly what you expect from fried dumplings. Nothing groundbreaking, but nothing wrong either. J. Lohr Chardonnay A smooth pour and a generous one. I wasn't mad at it. Overall, service was friendly and the food came out quickly. The space itself is clean and modern, and it's a nice spot for a casual lunch date. Just know that the prices lean more "weekend dinner" than "weekday lunch." There were some hits, some misses, but overall a good experience. The crab fried rice alone might bring me back. The Tom Yum needs a little more lemongrass love, but everything was fresh and well‑prepared. I recommend the Business the food was good. Service was good, but I didn't notice that when we were ordering the server kept on saying oh this is gonna be expensive. This is gonna be expensive. OK I kind of got a bad taste in my mouth for that because it's like you're looking at me and stereotyping maybe that I don't have any money but I ordered what I ordered. I spent over $130 and I paid it and I tipped so yeah but other than that the food was good. I ordered takeout from Lemongrass , the Garlic Black Pepper is my go-to and it never disappoints! The flavor is bold and delicious, even to go. Since I was running errands, thought of Thai and came here for an early lunch, about 11:30ish. At this time there was a 4 top and a single, plus myself. Not busy at all. I ordered off their lunch menu, the pad Thai, came with a crab rangoons and a nice size bowl of Tom yum with the pad Thai with soft tofu and beef. For a lunch special, I wouldn't say it was a great bargain but you got all that I mentioned, and suppose if it was delicious, I'd have a better review. I asked my waitperson which protein would be the most tender, she said beef or chicken so I chose beef with a side of soft tofu. Bad recommendation! The beef is flavorless, tough, chewy and dry. The meat tender and with the rice on the side it was excellent. I also enjoyed the oyster sauce flavor. I always like the fresh spring rolls and you didn't disappoint me. The peanut sauce was delicious too. It was thick and the peanuts on top make it look awesome. I did like the layout and furniture you have. This atmosphere makes you feel both at home but classy too. My wife and have been to this place several times and we always enjoy it. We originally went to Sip Saam, but once we heard of this place we decided to switch and venture here, which thankfully is only 10 min away from our apartment. I'm gonna be honest. We just stick to the curry and haven't looked back. It's super fantastic and flavorful and we are never disappointed. My wife always sticks to the yellow curry, whilst I adventure to the pineapple (which is the best one by the way), and it always leaves us full and satisfied. Years ago I remembered we went there for Valentine's Day, and the restaurant treated everyone to a special strawberry ice cream ball for dessert, and it was epic. Granted, don't expect this every year, I'm just saying that this is what happened to us. But if this happens every year, please go just for the dessert alone. I can't wait to go back, and even as I'm typing this review, we are already trying to make plans for it again considering it's cold outside. read more

If you're looking for Thai food, this is not it. I've lived in Thailand for 3 years, Pad Thai is a staple of any Thai restaurant. Their "Unbelievable Pad Thai" dish was unbelievably awful. Over cooked slimy noodles drenched in a sweet sauce and frozen tasteless shrimp. Stop passing this off as Thai food to unbeknown diners who don't know the difference. I would never eat here or recommend it to anyone. If the Chef is Thai, you've lost your passion for food and you're serving slop. We just got takeout, but the food held up really well on the way home. It was a little more than a half an hour drive, and everything was still super hot and tasted fresh when we finally started eating. I got the drunken noodles at a spice level of 3 (which was the perfect amount for me, it was spicy enough to have a kick, but not too spicy to require me to need water while I ate). 5 stars because the chef here is on-point and the waitress was okay. I'm definitely harsher than most on service since I was a waitress for 10 years. She was friendly, seemed to want to do a good job and ... was friendly. She forgot to refill our water, told me if I got level 4 it would be too spicy so I got 2- I regretted it and sent it back and long story short I didn't love her- but she did check on our order and she wasn't terrible. I just think she could do a lot better, I mean she had like 5 tables - that's nothing. Moving forward, the food was really good. I got the drunken noodles and levels 5 -7 is definitely tasty without being crazy. My husband got the Pad Thai and he thought it was good. My dad got the Yellow Curry and he really liked it, and my mother got the swai fillet with garlic and basil sauce and that was superb! Highly recommend. I can go when I have 20 minutes for a fast lunch and they know me. They grab my dicier coke and it's in a glass when I hit the seat. When I am free to relax and enjoy a hot meal, it's a great place to go. Nothing hits the spot like a hot curry when you are tired, starving and just need great food,kindness and to relax. Let me preface this review by saying, I didn't grow up in this region and I am starting to realize that anything exotic... other than a burger and fries, may be below average or extremely mediocre and yet people in the region will rave about it even though they have no idea that it can be done WAY better. This is one of those many places in this region. The Tom Kha was great in my opinion but the green curry and shrimp spring rolls were among the worst I've ever had, and not that they were bad, but... I'd just have to say they were way less than average. I can make better at home, a lot better, and these were the worst I have ever had at any restaurant. These were both about a 3.2/10. I will admit, the peanut sauce for the rolls wasn't the worst I've had, which is a plus, but it also lacked a lot of flavor, probably made or bought from a company and then frozen etc. I can only think of one peanut sauce that was worse than this one tho, so I'd give it a 3.3/10. The pork ribs were absolutely and completely inedible by everyone at the table. Everyone had to try them to see just how awful they were and everyone agreed, send it back! It was the first time in my 40 years that I have EVER sent an entree back at a restaurant.... It was so bad I was just like, I really don't care what anyone at this place says, this may be their "House Specialty," but it's pure garbage... I've literally never sent something back in my entire life, but after offering these ribs up to both guests at my table to try, they also spit it out. This item was a Negative 10 out of 10 and gave me the green apple splatters in the restaurant shitter. Straight diarrhea from that rancid pig, again... So vile, disgusting, putrid, how dare you serve rancid pig to me and charge me $19 dollars for it. My first impressions of the pig? The pork ribs arrived at the table extremely hot, and they got to my table so quick... about 3.5 minutes after I placed the order, this initially was very alarming and screams of MICROWAVED PIG. I tried to cut into one of the little piglets and it was so tough that I could not cut into it. I had to tear off a piece with my fork and again, this meat was so extremely hot that I couldn't touch it.... It was like scorched earth. Again, I must reiterate, it was MICROWAVED! Microwaved Pork ribs!? This is central Texas and you are seriously going to serve me microwaved pork ribs? To add to this, these ribs tasted old, past their expiration date, and damn, just tasted like salt. It was bonkers to receive such an item, and on a sizzling skillet, so as to say, "we cooked this for you fresh on a cast iron skillet." Bull... this was microwaved. I could tell because it was about 450 degrees or more, and about as hot as the sun. I'd rather lick a cast iron skillet than bite into this garbage, seriously! Don't you know not to microwave pork? WTF? All in all, I highly doubt we will ever be back, the quality standards here are so low... But Central Texans don't know, they are just like, "wow! Thai food? What is that? Is this food from Taiwan, Tokyo... or Chyna? Wowzers, jee golly, this sure is gooood, better than my Whataburger and fries." Oh, also, to fulfill my 3 requirements set forth by YELP, let me mention the ambiance... Menus that are so sticky that you have to peel them apart like a 13 year old boys bed sheets. Also, what's with the hard bottom, wooden seats... do they think I was born in a barn? No cushions? This is worse than a bottom tier taqueria in the ghettos of Jalisco, Mexico, they even have cushions on their seats... hard pass, never again. I think, next time, we will get our mustaches and coochies waxed next door rather than eating at this awful place again.... Or maybe just stop in for the Kha soup, and beat it. This is my favorite Thai restaurant in the Cedar Park area. I've tried a variety of things on the menu and there's nothing I haven't devoured! Highlights - Apps: wontons, chicken curry puffs and spring roll and dumplings. All of the curies are delicious. My personal favorite is the Panang Curry at a level 4. Panang is made with coconut milk so it is sweet and goes well with the spice. I've also tried most of the noodle dishes and they've all been exceptional! Favorites here are the Pad Thai, Drunken Noodles and Pad-Se-Ew. Lastly, you've got to get the mango with sticky rice for desert! In addition to amazing food, the staff are all very friendly and helpful. The ambiance is a modern vibe with warm features like lots of nice wood. Me and my Family came here for dinner on Saturday evening before Father's Day (6/17/2023) and it did not dissapoint. The appetizers came out fast (~5-10 min); the Spring Rolls are filled with more veggies than most places and have a stronger Thai mint flavor, making them both light and refreshing, and came with a peanut sauce that was not too sweet. The Thai Jerky Strip Steaks were great! Suprisingly not too heavy and had an amazing crust on the outside, the sauce it came with was a more tangy than sweet balancing the savory notes from the jerky. I ordered the Tom Yum entrée with level 5/10 heat with seafood. The tomato broth really brings out the flavors from the mushrooms, onions, and carrots. The seafood mixture included mussels, shrimp, scallops, and calamari all of which were cooked nicely (mussels were my favorite part). I almost forgot to mention this but the entrées only took ~10-15 min. The servers were very friendly and accomodating to whatever we requested and got our orders without any troubles. The atmosphere was also not too loud and a little more on the calm social side (like a nice Coffee Café vibe). Safe to say, we will definitely come back. read more

I love a bright, citrusy flavor, but the lime overpowered the dish, throwing off the balance of sweet, nutty, and savory flavors that I expect from a good Pad Thai. It wasn't bad, just not quite what I was hoping for. My fiancé really enjoyed his Yellow Curry with chicken. The sauce was rich, creamy, and flavorful, with just the right amount of spice. The chicken was tender, and the potatoes and carrots were cooked perfectly--not too soft, not too firm. He said it was exactly what he was craving, and I have to admit, I stole a few bites and agreed! The biggest downside was trying to choose a spice level--there were 11 different options-- and not being able order over the phone! It felt overwhelming trying to guess what level would be right, and I wish there had been a clearer description of what each level meant in terms of heat. We played it safe, but I could see this being a struggle for someone who really wants to dial in their spice preference. My friend likes this place for the Yellow Curry and their menu seemed to have the standard layout of basic Thai food; you know, your Pad Thais and curries. Excellent Thai food in a nice ambiance! Recently visited to celebrate my mom and grandmothers birthdays. The service was exceptional - the servers went above and beyond to make the experience pleasant and special, including a free dessert with a candle and singing happy birthday at the end of the meal. They were also very patient and considerate of our dietary restrictions. We ordered the vegetable gyoza, Tom kha soup, and chicken satay as appetizers. All items were a huge hit and generous portion sizes to share. For our mains we ordered a green curry, yellow curry, papaya salad and pad see ewe. We happened to be up north running errands and were in the mood for Thai so I found this place - thank you Yelp, and it definitely did not disappoint. Cute little restaurant with really nice staff. Was busy on a Sunday at around 1pm. We started with the Tom Kha soup (bowl) and it was enough for 2 people to share and get their appetite wet before the remainder of the items. The chicken curry puffs were delicious...cannot NOT order them if I see them on the menu. The panang curry (with shrimp) was so tasty and perfect spice level as is. The basil fried rice we made a little spicier and thankfully it was also on point and very tasty.
