The issue is with Bread Dreams in Lynn, ma, Market Sq., however, I was told , same owner as here. The Lynn location also changed its name from BREAD DREAMS, also to, Camilla's Cafe. And it's too bad because the one in Salem is actually good and service is nice. In Lynn, they fcked up my Uber eats order, literally half my order not in the bag. I paid almost 55.00 with all the fees and BS. When I called and a female answered, told her, and she starts laughing! Then proceeds to not be able to communicate with me because a language barrier. Finally, a Spanish speaking female gets on the phone,, don't know if she was an employee, again, explained the screw. Lastly, I had to drive there to get my food which I paid delivery through Uber eats, ALREADY! Bread dreams is a hit or miss, but when it's a hit, IT'S SO GOOD! I typically order a cheese pastelito with fresh mango juice. I've tried their beef & chicken pastelitos and they're alright. Truly just so disappointed in this place. customer service has gone so down. i call to try to fix an order that they accepted to fulfill and the restaurant waits til the end to say they can't fulfill it yet i still get charged for it.i get charged and receive nothing. how does that make sense at all. and I end up getting hung up on and being called stupid when i never called them anything. yet isn't that on the restaurant if they see a request and know they can't fulfill it why not say that before starting anything on the order. This place deserves 5 stars for the quality of food, affordable prices and early morning hours. Yes, it gets very busy during the morning rush, so there might be a line. But where else can you find an egg, cheese & bacon on a freshly baked croissant for only $3.75 ?!? All their juice is freshly squeezed right there. They have a private parking lot that can probably fit 15 cars for the few businesses in this mini plaza. Inside, I can certainly tell it's a local spot because people tend to linger and cut folks who didn't fit in like myself. Not cool. Avocado Smoothie- Freshly scooped out avocado and simply with ice blended together. Creamy and delish. Pineapple Smoothie- Blended pineapple with ice, naturally sweet and refreshing. Ham & Cheese Pastelito- Flat. One whole slice of ham and melted cheese. Chicken Pastelito- Chicken was a little dry and chewy which we didn't quite like. It lacked seasoning. Chicken & Cheese Pastelito- My favorite out of the bunch. Cheesy with shredded chicken and it tasted delish as a whole with the crispy pastry exterior. Overall Service: Locals were cutting me left and right, the cashier ladies clearly saw it and did absolutely nothing about it. There was one young man who was making smoothies in the back noticed no one was helping me so he came over and politely took my order. He told the ladies to grab me 2 of each kind of pastelitos and when I checked later on, I was missing the beef one which was the one I wanted to try out the most. I love their pastelitos! Specifically their ham and cheese, I recently had their chicken and cheese which was also good since it's not as dry as the cheese only version. Their fresh squeezed orange juice is the freshest I've had in the area. The sandwiches are okay, a decent size especially if ordering a large. Was very excited to try after seeing reviews. Went in during lunch time to get a cold Italian sub not realizing it was mostly a Spanish speaking establishment. Got flustered trying to give the woman my order and she misunderstood me at first and pointed to a sign for the Italian sausage which was $3.50 so I tried to change the order to the normal sub and it seemed like she got it because she punched in the right price of $5.50 for the cold Italian sub. I've been here multiple times and have gotten just the ham&cheese pastelito with guarana. I've tried the other options( cheese, beef, chicken). I didn't really like those. If they run out of a flavor, they're more than happy to quickly make one for you and it takes like 5 min. The pastelitos are huge too like 6 inches LOL. The mango smoothie is delicious.
