I love Bread Euphoria - super high turnover of tasty pastries. All are great. The maple walnut bar is fantastic, as is the quiche, pizza, soup. I think it is my favorite pizza in the valley. At night, they have waitstaff and serve nice inexpensive wine. My husband and I ordered a ton of pastries and coffee from Bread Euphoria for a breakfast gathering. They loaned us a large thermos, packed up milk and sugar for us, and helped me carry everything to the car. Close to 'Hamp but far away enough that you don't deal with the hustle and bustle of the downtown area. This place is a very well kept secret. It offers something for every palate at reasonable prices in a friendly, welcoming atmosphere. Very laid back dining area (bus your own dishes) with a lovely view of the fields and woods by Beaver brook. The bread is AMAZING!! I had a hummus sandwich that was wonderful and my guest has a pannini that made me drool like Homer Simpson and want to get one except I was too full! And don't get me started on the baked goods! Simply swoonworthy! I had a lemon square that was hands down, THE BEST I HAVE EVER EATEN (yes, I have to shout this out, it was THAT good!) Awesome staff here too!! read more

Bread Euphoria is a total gem. My husband and I have been regular customers since moving down the street last year. Where to even begin? There is something utterly amazing here for my every mood. Their breakfast sandwiches for when I wake up really hungry (especially on their heavenly biscuits, which tend to sell out). When I am craving something sweet, any of their pastries, honestly, I have never been let down. The chocolate cretzel (a pretzel croissant hybrid filled with chocolate ganache) for when I want something both sweet & salty. For lunch, their creative sandwich specials (bacon wrapped meatloaf!!!) but also the turkey bacon ranch off of their regular menu. Obviously their fresh bread is incredible. Last weekend we ordered a pizza and my husband and I agreed its the best in our area. We make sure to take our out of town visitors here and they are always impressed. I have been going to B.E. for many years for many things. Before we get to the menu it should be noted that their pastry shelf is always loaded with fine things. I have spent a lot of time baking and can tell you that whoever is producing this stuff not only knows what they are doing but loves doing it. On to the food. Consistently well prepared, served well and so so flavorful. Best sandwiches, best quiche, best soup anywhere. But what I really want to emphasize is that whatever sensitivities I have (and I am NOT somebody that goes around telling everyone I can't eat this or that, I just eat) I have never felt anything but well fed after dining here. Had a few food coma effects probably from too many pastries but the food really is wholesome and nutritious. As for the staff you will not find warmer smiles anywhere. Very helpful and very patient. There are one or two things on the menu which seem just a few dollars more than I would care to spend on them but not the soup!!!! And certainly not the sandwiches. And all the pastries are really fairly priced, especially the cakes. I know this because I have reproduced these cakes in my own kitchen and I can't possibly make one for anywhere near what they charge. So GO! Enjoy! Just don't go telling ALL your friends and be careful pulling out onto Rte 9! read more

I've been here several times, and just about everything is great. Their egg sandwiches are the only exception -- try something else for breakfast and you should be satisfied. Pizzas are amazing, great pairing with local (BBC) beer! read more

Although I am giving this a general review of 3 stars, I don't know if I will return. I've never been a fan of whole foods eateries (unless it's done very well, like Northampton's Paul and Elizabeth's), I only went as I was invited to lunch. For a first visit, I found an out of the way place tucked off a corner of Rt. 9, south of Haydenville, that one could easily miss. A smallish dirt driveway and patio area lead me inside to an impressive array of baked items in various display cases. The people taking my order seemed rather indifferent. After ordering the specialty sandwich of the day and a natural cola (both pricey), our lunch was ready within minutes. Although the bread was interesting, the sandwich itself was less than I expected for the price and very small side of coleslaw was quite underwhelming - in fact, I could not finish it as it had an aftertaste. However, I am curious about their soup and pizza selections, and did bring home a $6. loaf of quite good raisin bread. Were it not for the bread, I would not have given the dining experience the three stars. The seating is not plentiful when just a few people are dining, and since Wi-Fi was available, some people were remaining long after meals were completed. So with that all in mind, maybe I might return for a future visit, but with Florence's Side Street Cafe just a few miles away, there's a better choice. read more

My son and I were visiting Amherst College and stayed at the Lord Jeffery Inn. When I woke up Saturday morning, a farmer's market had sprouted across the street! I walked through the market and found Bread Euphoria's stand. I bought several pastries to take home and some ginger biscotti. OMG, everything was perfect. I've been on a quest to find a recipe for the biscotti. If my son gets accepted at Amherst College, I will be looking forward to more of the treats from this baker. YUM! read more

I am basing my review only on the breads I have eaten from here. I have not gone to eat any of the actual food though when I have been inside the food menus make my mouth water. The breads are phenomenal. I have loved every one I have eaten from there. I especially recently loved the Olive bread, which I am sure has a fancier name. It was delicious. I love the undertaste of sourdough in all the breads. It is a great little addition to my hometown and I hope they are around for years to come. read more

I work down the street so I come in for lunch at least once a week. They bake the best bread around and with that bread create amazing sandwiches and paninis. Their pizza is also amazing and they make great soups and salad. I wish they sold their homemade salad dressing in bottles because it's the best I've hade. Last night had the most fabulous quiche ever, and lovely salad with home-made ranch dressing. So enamored took a quiche home and also 2 "morning buns" which were cinnamon buns with granulated sugar. A cute little spot in an area with few other options. All breads are made in-house. I like to buy a loaf of their cinnamon raisin and bring it home to toast and eat with butter or cream cheese. Their pizza is definitely one of the high points of the menu, although quite pricey. They always have a vegetarian quiche option which is nice. As a vegetarian I wish that they had more exciting choices for me. They offer a hummus sandwich with house-made hummus, but it's so bland and boring. I wish they'd revise their recipe to make it more dynamic. They also have a mozzarella and tomato sandwich which is pretty hard to mess up, but it does nothing for me either. I have heard good things about their turkey reuben sandwich and I have a feeling that their meat based sandwiches are pretty satisfying. Careful to double check your order before you take it out. I had a terrible experience at bread euphoria. I was trying to order a quiche for a baby shower. I contacted the shop via email and was told to call Bread Euphoria and place my order, which I did. When I arrived the morning of the shower they told us that they had sold it to someone else. Terrible customer service. I have emailed them for an explanation and haven't gotten a response. Very disappointing. I will not count on them in the future. read more

I personally love Bread Euphoria. I'm not really sure how someone could only give them 2 or 3 stars...really? Their breads are hearty and delicious. The cherry pecan, granary (from locally grown wheat) and multigrain are staples in our house. They sell a countless number of baked goodies (ginger scones are amazing) and the most exquisite, scrumptious cakes. Breakfast, lunch or dinner I always leave sated and and happy. On the weekends I run my errands and usually find myself there for the daily homemade soup with a slice of quiche and a BBC beer. The space is open and bright with a large community table (for 8 to10) down the center of the restaurant, flanked by four and two top tables. The staff is welcoming and gracious. The owners Geri and Mark are clearly passionate about their business and community and really deliver a unique and delicious opportunity for all to savor and enjoy! read more
