Plus that's actually good, since…read moreit means it's actively being prepped (seal of freshness)) the food is so good that even if you had to wait, you will feel greatly rewarded with the food graciously served. Recommendations are Chicken Shawarma (though any variety should be worth it) and Maqluba Rice. Get it, you won't regret it! p.s. - The food truck is now located by the skate park in Turners/Great Falls. That's near the River... to the Sea!

This popular food truck serves up sandwiches & platters (falafel, shawarma, kabob), gyros, fries, hummus, grape leaves, baba ghanouj, meat & spinach pies, and baklava. I stopped by the Mohawk Shawarma Grill recently for dinner takeout. There was a small crowd of people standing near and in front of the trailer waiting for their orders. There was only one person working the trailer, so it took a while to place my order (7 minutes) and for my food to be ready (20 minutes). Once my food was all set, I enjoyed it in my car parked on the street. I ordered the Chicken Shawarma Sandwich ($7.99 plus tax) and a Gyro ($7.99 plus tax), which were both grilled to order wraps with tasty fillings. The shawarma sandwich was filled with tender pieces of marinated chicken, tomato, pickles, fries, and garlic. The gyro was filled with gyro meat slices, tomato, onion, fried potato, and tzatziki sauce. I will definitely have to stop by again for some kabobs next time!

They serve up El Salvadorian and Latin cuisine here. The place has booths along the wall, table seating and stools at the bar. The bar serves up 4 draft beers, bottle/can beers, margaritas, sangrias, mixed drinks, Coke soft drinks, and Jarritos. The food offerings include chips & salsa ($), pupusas, pastelitos, enchiladas, tacos, burritos, quesadillas, gorditas, fajitas, pineapple bowls, fried tilapia, and meat platters. I stopped by Cocina Lupita Turners Falls for dinner recently and dined in. I was given a menu and offered an ice water. I ordered the Chicken Fajitas ($19 plus tax) which were slightly different from what I order at a Mexican restaurant. The Fajitas came out piled onto a very hot iron plate, served with rice & red beans and salad (iceberg, tomato, cucumber) with dressing on the side, no tortillas or guac & sour cream for these fajitas. The fajitas were not too greasy/oily, which had a mix of tender chicken pieces, carrots, greens peppers, onions, & greens. The rice & beans and the salad with ranch dressing complemented the hot plate of chicken fajitas. I finished the three plates of food and was all set. The check was presented which was $20.33 with tax and before tip. I would come back here to try their pupusas and tacos dorados.

I'm a tough critic when it comes to food, and they get no notes from me. Every dish was a standout. I've never heard of a scallop roll before, but I want 3 more of them right now. And the lobster grilled cheese will forever hold a special place in my foodie heart. Awesome job guys! Highly, highly recommended!

Shuckin Truck was an absolute hit! They set up the outdoor raw bar...clams (littlenecks), oysters, and shrimp on ice, in a very attractive manner. The table was manned by a charming "shucker". There were an assortment of passed hors d'oeuvres which included lobster grilled cheese lobster triangles...these were indescribably delicious. Everyone was oohing and aahing over these. I also loved the smoked salmon on toast and the small cups of really tasty clam chowder. All the appetizers were incredibly delicious although I would say the lobster grilled cheese was the biggest hit. All of the staff were polite and friendly. After the appetizer round, the lobster rolls came out and they were simply spectacular. They were true New England lobster rolls on toasted square edged (this is key) frankfurter buns, and absolutely stuffed with chunks of delicious lobster meat that had been lightly dressed with mayo. Those rolls were out of this world, deliciously prepared and very generously filled with sweet lobster meat. They also served fabulous fish tacos. For the non-seafood eaters of which there were none at this party, they served a pulled pork taco which was spicy and delicious. The portions were generous and the food just kept on coming out. While there was plenty of additional food at this party from other vendors as well as some homemade additions, Shuckin' Truck was my favorite part of the overall feast. Great job! I would not hesitate to hire them for a party or to seek out the food truck wherever it was parked!

The fries that came with my sandwich were fantastic. So good, that I asked what they were seasoned with on our way out: the dry rub they use on their meats. Give this place a try! The inside is really nice. From the outside, it looks pretty basic. The dining area is really nice with the wood, bright light and ample seating. And make sure you check out the sauces they have. Found Zack's on Yelp and figured I'd give it a shot and sadly was not impressed. 1. The young man taking orders needs to work on his customer service skills. 2. Rather small inside but there are plenty of tables outside 3. Ordered the 2 meat platter (ribs & Burnt Ends) with collard greens as my side. 4. The meal was delivered quickly 5. The star of the platter were the ribs 6. Very disappointed with the burnt ends and collard greens as I did not like how they tasted. The sauce on the burnt ends was not to my liking and the collard greens, although they had a little to them, they lacked any real flavor, i.e. pork fat and vinegar. Would give them another shot, but certainly not rushing to get back.
