Bread+Salt is our go-to breakfast and early lunch spot in Frisco. The Summit Hash is my favorite and consistently delicious. Food is fresh and they have a large variety of options for every preference. Wait time can definitely be lengthy depending on time of day. I would recommend ordering all at once if possible, and not planning on it being a quick bite to eat; especially if you come on a weekend or holiday. We have had mostly great service over the years-- the owner is almost always there ensuring that everything is running smoothly. Watch out in the spring for falling snow, as it can and will spill directly into some outdoor tables. Parking is easy and can be found all through the area. Great spot for people watching & enjoying the weather if you're sitting outside, or staying in and warming up on those cold winter days.

I was recommended this restaurant by a local in Nederland, so I had to try it. The pesto and the goat cheese were delicious and if you like beets, I highly recommend the veggie hash. The restaurant was pretty busy but I did not wait long for my order. The outdoor seating was very nice and the location is amazing.

Wonderful spot for brunch! It is a small restaurant and can get busy, but they do have a patio if the weather allows. We really enjoyed our meals here, especially the mushroom Benedict. The porcini hollandaise sauce was perfect. Rich and very flavorful, it complemented the dish well. The homemade rustic bread served with the scrambles was delicious and very fresh. It paired well with the homemade jam. Highly recommend!

Early risers, this is the place! Got all the breakfast and lunch items to ready for your hungry stomach. Got the small town charm like jams and butter on the table, local items for sale displaced by the wall and the friendly servers taking care of your needs. Plenty of parking to the sides, shared restroom also and mostly, amazing views of main street looking toward the west!

This place was a serendipitous find for me, but I'm glad I drove past! I was leaving Breckenridge going toward Vail and saw this place on Frisco's Main Street on the path to the freeway so I pulled off cause it looked cute. Indeed it was! The staff were friendly, helpful, and attentive. There was plenty of parking right out front, and it's on the main road so lots of other little fun shops around. There are shared bathrooms (between the businesses right around there); they're clean enough. And the food - it's excellent! I had the truffle scramble which is a truffle omelette ($17) with add ins, and comes with a side of hash browns and homemade toast or biscuit (I got the toast). I also ordered some earl grey tea with a side of vanilla syrup/milk (to make a London fog since it wasn't on their menu), and that was so lovely with the breakfast. I was quite full after all that, didn't need another meal until dinner although I ate at like 8:30am. Also the place got pretty full by 9a, a good number of people were on the waitlist and all the tables were full, so it gets busy! It's worth it tbh, I really liked the food and vibe. Would def recommend :)

We were fortunate to hit the restaurant when it was not insane busy Superb service! Waiter was helpful and efficient. There were 4 in our party and we were lucky to be seated where we could see outside. Food was excellent. Forgot to take pics so sorry. Would come again!

Delicious little brunch spot! We got the SEA scramble, two eggs, and french toast and I think we paid $80 total for two people, which was a little pricey, but it was so good. The vanilla cappuccino with sugar were also great! Fast and friendly service. Will definitely be back at some point.

This is a cute restaurant but let me tell you, the service was slow. We ordered bloody Mary's to start and it took a little longer than we expected but not too bad when I said we were ready to order our waitress said she'd be right back. She came back in a few minutes with a different waitress to take our order. We came in for lunch at 1:30 and simply ordered a field greens salad with grilled chicken We finally got our food at 2:20. The salad was delicious, the chicken was moist and flavored well. I think they just need more help.

The mushroom Benedict was the best eggs benny I've ever had in my life. Topped with truffle oil and porcini hollandaise sauce. I couldn't stop talking about how good it was all day today. I'll definitely be back next time I'm in frisco. Staff is all super friendly, the outdoor section is cute.

Just a quick wait for a great breakfast! Server was fast and helpful. I ordered the summer squash scramble with a side of breakfast sausage. I loved every bite. Highly recommend this place to those in the Frisco area! Quaint ambiance looking out at the mountains.

We chose the bird sauce and was perfect to dip or mix it in with a jasmine rice along with complementary herbs (basil, cilantros, etc) and cucumber salad. Plus their special soft serve of the day made it even more perfect. We had a coconut soft serve ice cream topped with caramel sauce which was very good. Not overwhelming just refreshing as a whole. This will be our place for sure whenever we pass by! Chicken and outer range hazy ipa were perfect match. I loved that they are existing together. Best brunch I had in Frisco…read more Butterhorn Bakery and Cafe is the highest-rated brunch spot in Frisco, and based on my experience, I'd agree with the hype. Of the couple of brunch spots I tried in town, this was my favorite. I ordered the Cornucopia with eggs over medium and substituted the home fries for fruit. The fruit was surprisingly good, strawberries, blueberries, and bananas with a light sprinkle of powdered sugar. A side of fruit can be pretty hit or miss when you substitute it at brunch, so I was pleasantly surprised. The eggs were cooked right, and the toast was fine. I opted for turkey bacon, though, and I'd recommend skipping it. It was pretty crispy and lacked much flavor. The standout was the cinnamon roll French toast. We ordered it to share with the table, and I highly recommend doing the same. It comes with two large cinnamon rolls that are soaked in egg batter and grilled French-toast style. It was top tier. I noticed several tables around us sharing the regular cinnamon roll as well, and those looked fantastic too. They also have a bakery counter inside with plenty of grab-and-go options. The pastries all looked great, along with fresh bread, cookies, and other sweet treats. If you're visiting Frisco and looking for brunch, Butterhorn is definitely worth a stop. And whatever you order, I'd make sure the cinnamon roll French toast makes it onto your table.

We ordered the Mediterranean Bowl, Pure Thai Bowl, and Summit Stir Fry Bowl, and we were very happy eaters. I ordered the Korean Zoodle Bowl with a tofu add-on. It was a bit sweet, but the mild spice helped to counteract this. The large variety of vegetables in it satisfied my closet vegan. The tofu had a very pleasing crispyness when it first arrived. I told the SO, "Quick, try the tofu!", when she got her bowl. The SO ordered the Summit Stir Fry with a tofu add-on. She enjoyed it, but thought it was a little on the sweet side. I thought it was a lot on sweet side. I made my bowl not seem so sweet after all, which I took as a plus. Overall the food taste and quality was good and the service was friendly. I will base my rating on that. I do have one comment not having to do with the food or service. Stop reading here if you don't care. Pure Kitchen has a 4% "Competitive Wage Compensation" charge. I was surprised to see this charge on the bill and only later saw that it was in the fine print on the menu, with an "opt out" option (what brave soul is going to "opt out" and risk spittle in their food). Maybe it's my fault for not looking at the fine print on menu, but it's a food menu, not a used car contract. Just my personal opinion, but I believe if a restaurant wants to have "fair wages" for their employees, it is their responsibility, not mine. Raise food prices, lower profit margin, whatever, but please don't add another tax. It just doesn't seem right. I have never once complained about high food prices in any of my reviews because it is my choice to go out to eat. I could eat at home if I want to keep within my monthly budget. I have avoided going to other restaurants based solely on this type of "fair wages" charge and will likely not come here again for the same reason (no matter how badly I want to try their Lamb Burger). I am really VERY SORRY for getting on my soapbox. I don't typically rant, but there are certain things that I believe should be addressed. I'm probably not the only person who feels this way.

I ordered a hot, large Ultimate BLT ($13.95) with fries ($2.99) and a drink ($2.79). This included 2X bacon, avocado, pepper jack cheese, lettuce, tomato, and mayonnaise. My sandwich turned out to be lukewarm. The avocado was almost non-existent and I couldn't taste it. I liked the wavy fries, as did my wife. The one container of ketchup they gave each of us ran out before the fries. Ask for two. Bread seemed too thick to me and overpowered the rest of the sandwich. Iced tea had been freshly made and tasted great. Wish they offered real lemon. They had one lemon packet left in the bin and it was unopened but empty! Not sure how that happened. We were in the middle of a 35-mile bike ride when we stopped here for lunch. The food tasted average to me, but we paid a total of $41.29 for two sandwiches, 2 drinks, and 2 fries. I expected a hot sandwich and less bread for this price.
