July 24, 2023. Monday. Lunch. My wife and I had never been here. Since we arrived before noon, we beat the large lunch crowd. Cashier at the front was extremely nice. She told us lots of Which Wichs shut down nationwide during COVID. They have a unique ordering station. You check the items you want on a paper lunch bag using a crayon. I ordered a hot, large Ultimate BLT ($13.95) with fries ($2.99) and a drink ($2.79). This included 2X bacon, avocado, pepper jack cheese, lettuce, tomato, and mayonnaise. My sandwich turned out to be lukewarm. The avocado was almost non-existent and I couldn't taste it. I liked the wavy fries, as did my wife. The one container of ketchup they gave each of us ran out before the fries. Ask for two. Bread seemed too thick to me and overpowered the rest of the sandwich. Iced tea had been freshly made and tasted great. Wish they offered real lemon. They had one lemon packet left in the bin and it was unopened but empty! Not sure how that happened. We were in the middle of a 35-mile bike ride when we stopped here for lunch. The food tasted average to me, but we paid a total of $41.29 for two sandwiches, 2 drinks, and 2 fries. Ordered food just after 6:30, arrived at 7 to find out the restrooms were closed "because she had just cleaned them" despite not closing until 8. Thankfully Starbucks was open next door but didn't choose to be difficult to paying customers on a road trip. So our order became substantially more expensive as we bought additional drinks next door. We live in Denver & often make this drive so please do not reward this business with your order. Which Wich is a great sub shop from the ordering procedures where you mark down on the bag exactly what you want on your sandwich to a friendly and courteous staff who are always willing to help. if they don't get something right they are are willing to correct it. Melissa who runs the front of the store is always pleasant and wanting to help. They do have some people who do not speak 100% English but in this day and age that is the norm and I do not hold that against them at all. Anyway, there's a process to select your sandwich and it will take a little while but they will help. I got the pastrami sandwich and french fries. The bread seemed very fresh and the meat was lean, the way I like it, french fries were also above average. Be sure to ask for ketchup or ranch before you leave. Very clean inside, and a couple of tables outside if you want. The only thing I would change is to add sliced bread. It's my preference for some of the sandwiches like pastrami or turkey. read more

Which Wich is one of my favorite lunch places. This was a terrible experience. We pre-ordered using the app. When we arrived, we were greeted warmly. Everyone there was very nice. If that were the only consideration, I'd give 4 stars. They gave us our order, but with the wrong chips (no big deal, I just swapped it out without mentioning it). I opened my wicked Wich and it was cold. My wife's sandwich was fine. I asked for mine to be heated. They said I ordered it cold, and then apologized. I checked the receipt they handed to me with my sandwich and it even said hotwich. My wife eats slowly. But, she was finished before I ever got mine. Although, it was tasty. Two of my friends and I stopped by to get a quick and easy dinner. I ordered a "The Avocado" vegetarian sandwich and my friend ordered a lettucewich (lettuce wrap); the third person's order was fine. After a longer-than-usual wait, I got my sandwich and there was no avocado in it-- indeed, the main ingredient in the sandwich. After another extended wait after getting my corrected sandwich, my friend finally got her lettuce wrap and we started heading out. It did not look like a wrap (more like a hand roll/salad bag?) and the ingredients were incorrect. I went back inside with my friend in order to get this corrected, and the same employee got started on a new wrap. Once again, we waited quite a while and noticed he was taking the most time at the end of the assembly line where her wrap was being... wrapped. Frustrated, she decided to just ask for a refund and the employee agreed instantaneously. The employee called someone, presumably his boss, to ask how to do a refund (another wait) and he admitted to the person on the other end of the line: I guess I don't know how to wrap a lettuce wrap. My husband and I stopped here during our long road trip from Los Angeles to Minnesota and we were greeted with a warm smile and a nice welcome. This place was great! The staff was so friendly and helpful. Our subs were perfect. The dining room was very clean and I could tell they were keeping up with today's sanitization standards. On another note, I left my keys there and the staff was so very helpful in returning them to me. A staff member confirmed they were mine and the manager, Joe, brought them all the way to Denver on his next trip down! It's so nice to know there are good people out there doing good deeds. One of the employees came out from behind the counter to hang out with his friends. The other was doing something but i don't know what that was.
