The newest place to eat in eastern Brooksville in the Ridge Manor area did not disappoint. I've had things ordered to go from here and it has always been tasty, but it was a different experience to go and eat with my family this time. My parents go here often though and have become regulars, so it was very nice to enjoy breakfast with them. Jax and Paula are absolute gems. Such lovely and personable staff! The food was hot and fresh. The home fries, scrambled eggs, and sausage links we're seasoned and cooked perfectly. I didn't get to eat the pancakes because I was so full, but I brought them home for later. The inside is decorated cute with train stuff and is very clean. The music played ranges from newer country to Jimi Hendrix which is a good mix I think, and they post a dad joke at the register which is great because seriously who can resist dad jokes?? (IE: Why did the chicken go to the gym? -- answer at the bottom) We will definitely continue to come here! . . . . . . . . . . To work on their pecks

Come check out great food and service

Great service always and great food ...we come almost weekly. Manager is spot on and is always friendly and helpful. He caters to all of our requests.

I've given this place more chances than I should've . They fail every time . The service was incredibly slow, the food was disappointing and lacked flavor, and the overall experience didn't live up to expectations which were bare minimum to begin. I wouldn't recommend it. The staff were very inattentive and never came back to check if we needed anything after the food arrived . Very disappointing experience like the other 3 times previously . 10-10 DO NOT RECOMMEND . My breakfast burrito was cold . Was supposed to have peppers and onions and bacon . The cheese and peppers were just thrown on cold after the fact and the bacon was like pieces that fell off someone else's plate or something . Was like bacon bits or some crap . Gross

    Eggs Benedict

Went to Breakfast Station today with my mom and my sister. Our waitress was friendly when we sat down, took drink orders, and said that the eggs Benedict is a popular dish there. I ordered it. You can see in the pictures that the hollandaise sauce (if you could call it that!) was thick and lumpy. It was also room temperature. The egg looked like it was hard boiled instead of poached. I was hoping that I could order something different, but our waitress didn't come back until my mom and sister were both finished. We didn't get refills on the coffee either. She told us she got busy "cleaning up front" and was sorry she didn't get back to us. She did acknowledge that the hollandaise sauce was very thick and apologized for that (maybe that's not how it usually is?) However, she still charged me for it! I realize in retrospect that I probably should have asked for a manager, but I was so stunned I didn't think about it until after I got home.

So adorable. Lime green booths, clunky white porcelain plates. I love it. Let me just say the service was 5-stars. The manager came round to check on me. The waitresses were friendly and cheerful. This diner is a chain for local Floridians and open 7 days a week from 7 AM til 3 PM. The food was all slightly undercooked. Nice presentation, though, with a slice of Florida orange and everything was delicious. I got excited because the waitress told me, in the sweetest Southern accent, "We have fresh blueberry muffins today!" It turned out to be Jiffy Muffin Mix, a household staple since 1930, family-owned, and made in Michigan. (Their corn muffin mix accounts for 91% of their sales, according to Wiki.) I wasn't expecting a Jiffy muffin, but hey, this diner is simple. A hearty breakfast and coffee for $11.37 Try it. You'll like it.

Alyssa is a great service . Great food! It was good to see Paul Sr. from Orange County Choppers in there. He was gracious enough to get pics with us. Alyssa took the pics for us. That was very nice of her. The Breakfast Station staff is and always have been the Besr!

The tea room itself is a beautiful, eclectic house. Spacious yet cozy, decorated in a delightful hodgepodge of styles that somehow comes together harmoniously. It feels whimsical without tipping into chaos. The kind of place where teacups don't match, and that is precisely the point. Making reservations was pleasantly easy. I emailed on a Sunday for a Wednesday seating and received confirmation by Monday. I was mildly surprised they did not require a credit card deposit, something many tea rooms now request given the labor-intensive preparation and delicate perishables involved. Their trust in the process is refreshing. Upon arrival we were warmly greeted and promptly seated. Amiee, the owner and our server, was friendly and engaging, walking us through the tea selections, the promise of unlimited pots, and explaining the offerings that would arrive throughout the experience. We ended up trying five different teas, each pot a small surprise thanks to Amiee's suggestions. I cannot remember all the names, but I can happily say we liked every one of them. One in particular tasted remarkably like banana bread in a cup. Warm, aromatic, perfectly balanced, and thankfully not overly sweet. We were also delighted by the Peach Apricot, bright and cheerful, and really enjoyed the Pomegranate Vanilla Lemur, which had a lovely layered flavor. We began with a creamy mushroom soup, rich and comforting. The scone, served before the tiered tray, was warm, buttery, and quite good, though notably without the traditional Devonshire or clotted cream. Still, it stood proudly on its own. The finger sandwiches were fresh and thoughtfully varied. The bread did not appear homemade, but the selections complemented each filling nicely and everything tasted fresh. The cheese muffin was flavorful, though we both mused that two smaller ones with a slightly moister crumb might have been even better. The sweet tier was satisfying overall. I was initially skeptical about the bread pudding, but the mini chocolate tart and a delicate lemon tart on filo more than made up for it. One of the highlights of the afternoon was chatting with Amiee about the journey of the tea room through the years, including the challenges of navigating the Covid era. I am always impressed by those who pursue a vision in the food industry. It is a difficult road, and places like this exist because of persistence, courage, and a genuine love of hospitality. Another pleasant surprise was the pricing, which is remarkably reasonable compared with the often lofty cost of afternoon tea elsewhere. All in all, The Tilted Teacup offers a warm, charming, and thoughtful tea experience. My friend and I left very pleased, well fed, and with the comforting sense that we had spent the afternoon exactly as it should be spent: with good tea, good conversation, and a table full of small delights. I happily recommend it.
