Hmmmmm, Great tasting Livermush and grits

Always love coming here for breakfast! Today I brought some of my family to enjoy the taste and flavors of "Crack of Dawn " Fast service and good food!

We wanted some breakfast, yet we didn't want to travel far. This diner popped up, and who to be the owner, greeted us and said we could sit anywhere we wanted. [[HIGHLIGHT]]While it was not big, there was a good variety of seating options.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] We sat next to some regulars, who recommended pretty much everything. As we sat there, a steady stream of regular came in either to dine-in or grab & go. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Seeing the love between the staff and customers was a welcoming sight.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] I ordered the shrimp and grits. The presentation of the food brought me back to my grandparents' house. The bowl is the same one I grew up eating from. While it was a good portion, I would have liked more seasoning. My wife, however, my wife loved her classic breakfast plate. Once again, the presentation was very welcoming. While my wife thought the coffee was OK, she loved the mug it came in. Seeing other customers' food and the warm environment definitely makes me want to try it again.

[[HIGHLIGHT]]This place is exactly what a breakfast spot should feel like.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]From the moment you walk in, it gives "classic diner" vibes, but with a serious glow-up. It's brighter, cleaner, and feels alive, not dated.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]The energy is warm and welcoming, like walking into your own kitchen if your kitchen had better food and someone else doing the cooking.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]Silverware? Wrapped up like it just came from a spa day, clean, tidy, and clearly cared for.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] The food? French toast hit that perfect sweet spot, and the turkey sausage? Legit. This is that "I could've made breakfast, but why would I when this exists" kind of experience. Service was quick. Clean-up? Even quicker. And the real MVP move? A QR code on the receipt for payment. Straight up 2025 vibes. Add in a cash discount and she's really out here giving folks options and value. There's a ton of parking (aka no circling like a shark), and we didn't wait for food or service. It was all smooth, fast, and friendly. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Bottom line: This spot is personal, delicious, and dialed in. You feel taken care of without it feeling corporate.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Support local, eat well, and go back often.

This is a true Breakfast & Brunch restaurant. We visited on a Monday morning. This restaurant is located in the old Grandma's Diner spot. The paved parking lot is a decent size, but there is also a gravel lot next to the restaurant as well. When you walk in, grab a menu at the door and seat yourself. They offer a few booths, bar seating, and plenty of tables for small or large groups. If you move a couple tables, you can comfortably fit a group of 10 people. This place gives all the local, small town vibes. Although it was our first time, the staff spoke to us like old friends. I also observed them greet a few regulars like family. I ordered the classic breakfast plate. It comes with two eggs, a meat, a biscuit or toast, and one side. It's a really good amount of food and everything tasted great. I wouldn't change a thing. The coffee was pretty good also. The service was great. Our server was so kind and very attentive. The bathroom was very clean. Just a note, while the diner is child friendly, there is not a changing station and we didn't see any high chairs. I look forward to visiting again.

Great spot! Service was so wonderful and fast. Kept the coffee flowing! Also reasonable prices. Good diner experience.

The customer service is outstanding. The food is great and the prices are affordable. I absolutely recommend the restaurant. [[HIGHLIGHT]]It's also family friendly and wheelchair accessible.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]]

Optimist Hall itself is a very food-centric, upscale food hall with a ton of vendors, so the atmosphere is energetic and fun. Seating can be a little challenging during peak dinner hours since so many people are grabbing food from different spots, but when the weather is nice there's plenty of outdoor seating. Harriet's keeps their burger formula refreshingly simple. It's a classic smash burger done right--made to order with a straightforward menu that doesn't overcomplicate things. There's usually a line, but it moves pretty quickly, and the burgers come out hot and fresh. One of the best parts of eating here is the flexibility of the food hall experience. While you're waiting, you can grab a craft beer, a glass of wine, or even browse for dessert from one of the other vendors. Insider tip: Come with a group if you can. It's a great place to share fries and let everyone explore different vendors around the hall. Parking is fairly easy with the nearby garage, which makes the whole experience even more convenient. Overall, Harriet's is a fun, delicious stop for a smash burger, especially if you're already enjoying the energy of Optimist Hall.

The place was bustling with people trying different places within the food hall. I decided to try the GOAT burger with sweet potato fries. Upon receiving my food, i was less than impressed with the appearance. Nothing like photos from other yelp reviewers and the other Johnny Roger location. It was very small portion of fries considering up charge of $2.50. The burgers bun was not toasted and it was a basic bun, cool to the touch. I noticed my burger was missing the candied bacon that was listed for the components of the burger. I went back up to ask for it and the cashier was more than helpful. She asked me if I had the onion straws on it as well and I looked only to see two small pieces. She took it upon herself to get me more to put on top. For that I was thankful. When another worker handed me my missing candied bacon, I looked at it and was slightly disgusted at the sight of floppy soggy bacon. But I went with it and went back to my table to put it on my burger. When I went to pick it up it was absolutely cold! So I went back to let them know and they took it from me and literally popped it in the microwave. At this point I'm just hungry and ready to eat. There was no crisp to the bacon at all and the candied part was basically just to douse it in some sweet syrup. So to sum it all up. I was very disappointed in the quality of the product compared to the $17 price tag. A cool not really grilled burger (assuming they were broiled or microwaved?) no grill marks, with soppy bacon and basic bun. Also they charge $4 for a sweet tea....... Just disappointment all around, except for the helpful cashier.

The restaurant was a ghost town on a Sunday evening. Maybe everyone is still eating Thanksgiving leftovers? Since there were 3 of us, we opted for an order of 3 tenders, 3 sliders, and 3 fry flavors. It was definitely enough for us to all share. The tenders were nice and crispy and the sweet chili sauce was good. I picked the Green Flag slider with bacon and pickles, very tasty. The little burger was cooked perfectly. For the fries we went with beer cheese and bacon, MW dusted, and Cajun. The Cajun were the best of the 3. The MW dust is a little on the sweet side which I didn't mind because I was dipping mine in the leftover sweet chili sauce. I was hoping to be able to pick tots as one of the 3 options but it was fries or tots, no mixing. I was also a little disappointed that the entrees options did not come with any sides. Since they were dead, the hostess was also our server. She was sweet. She answered all of our questions with ease.
