    3 Eggs Any Style Platter

Hidden Gem. Great food and customer service. I came in this morning with my cousin for breakfast. Somehow we beat the rush and the food came out unbelievably fast. My cousin ordered steak and eggs, and I had a platter with eggs, cheese, grits, and multiple breakfast meats. I also ordered the banana crêpes. The food was really delicious and the portion size was great. I wasn't crazy over the crepes. They just seemed to be missing something, although the presentation was awesome. Our waitress was Sherry. She was very down to earth and funny. Just reminds me of how waitresses used to be back in the day. Definitely ask for Sherry if you go in and sit in her section.

Stopped in for a late breakfast after an early morning flight from Arkansas into Charlotte and I wanted to get out of Charlotte traffic before stopping! Found this great little diner. As soon as I waked in the door I was met with a welcoming smiling server who made me feel very welcome. She did a great job taking care of me. From getting me seated all the way through to offering me a to go cut for my drink when I was leaving. The diner is decorated with lots of cute, little signs and quotes that make it feel quite homely. They have a sign with their Daily Specials with lots of good choices. I have to say everything appeared to be very clean and tables were bussed and cleared off very quickly after diners left following their meals. When it comes to the food. I have to say, it was pretty darn good. Everything was fresh, tasty, good size portions and cooked perfectly. If I am ever back in the area I will certainly stop in here again!

Sunshine is a good, unassuming spot to grab breakfast or lunch. The menu has all of the standard breakfast items and a few that aren't so standard including a few that are Mexican inspired. The server we had was as sweet as sugar and did a fantastic job and was quite attentive. I had a Mexican omelette along with grits and a biscuit. The biscuit was the standout for that trio. Warn, flaky and just delicious. We will definitely be back.

Upon arrival there was a 20 minute wait. It was worth it. They made a pretty good first impression. The service was terrific. Our server was on top of everything our entire meal. She kept our glasses filled and accommodated our every need. Our food came out promptly and everything was hot. My French toast was good. Everything else was ordinary breakfast fare but it was good. The biscuit was also good. The place appeared clean. They display a 97.0 sanitation grade. The atmosphere was a little loud. The prices are great. The place was packed so they must be doing something right.

This hidden gem has been under our nose for 17 years and we finally made our way there. Its exterior and even interior is not flashy. It's just a diner (clean) that serves straight forward food. Although I will say we saw some other breakfasts items pass our table that were very pretty. Crepes with fruit. And a steak omelet that could have fed a family of four. But we just got basics today and they were very good. I took one star away because my eggs were just okay. Not bad at all. I just have perfected fully cooked, fluff eggs at home and expect a place that serves breakfast to be able to create the same. But the pancakes, French toast and biscuit were all very yummy. Our waitress was excellent and friendly AND she kept our drinks filled!

I had an overall great experience at this restaurant. I ordered the Patty Melt with Onion Rings. My order was fresh, fast and delicious. Everyone in there was friendly and welcoming. The prices were reasonable also. Plus they serve breakfast all day. They have a second location in Kannapolis. Great local restaurant.

Towel City Tavern has two floors and is connected to the baseball stadium. Only the first floor was open during my visit. The Cabarrus Brewing Co. serving tanks are what you see as you enter. If you order a beer, it will be fresh as it comes directly from the tanks, as it is brewed on site. The restaurant's name pays homage to the city's textile roots and the towels made at the mills. The restaurant design also incorporated the town's history with Cannon Mills. The restaurant has an industrial feel with the open kitchen, high ceilings, concrete floors, exposed brickwork and steel structures. The tables were crafted from a 160-year-old tree that fell on the mill property. There were garage doors that likely opened during the games. They offer a $10 lunch special that includes a drink, side and entree. The $10 menu had a lot to select from: sandwiches, wraps, salads, wings, and a burger. I went with the All-American burger and fries. My burger was a good size, cooked to order and tasted great. The fries were really good, too. Service was great and attentive too. I was even offered a tea to go. My waiter got me in and out of the restaurant fast so I could get to the Music Hall of Fame on time. I did stop at the mural again on my way back to the car. Parking was free in the street spots and no time limits. Although I am not sure about the rules on game days/nights. With my favorite mural on the building, I have a feeling I will be back again to try more menu items and maybe see a ballgame too.

While there are no baseball games, the views of field and people enjoying the stadium are great. The service was slow but ok. We went for lunch to try out there specials. I got the pulled chicken sandwich with a side of sweet potato mash. The sandwich needed a lot of barbecue sauce as the chicken did not have any seasoning. The sweet potato mash was good.

We originally ordered the Brooklyn and the Godfather to go, but while we were waiting the smell alone convinced us to stay, and we seriously devoured both. We'll definitely be back to try dessert and grab one of their pre-prepared pastas for dinner. And on your way out, don't miss the little mint patty gumball-style machine by the door. Such a nostalgic touch and honestly the cutest detail. took a photo for my momma! Highly, highly recommend.

The food here is almost better than most of the Italian spots I'm accustomed to in Brooklyn. I ordered the chicken parm hero and meatball parm hero. Both were excellent! The sauce was freshly made with simple ingredients that were clearly high quality. The bread was crispy and warm authentically Italian (covered in sesame seeds the way I love) Best of all they have a small "Mercato" with carefully selected items imported from Italy. I was surprised and excited to find some of my favorite Italian cookies, breadsticks and chocolates. They even carry Italian beverages & wine. But best of all they have several prepared frozen meals like Lasagna, eggplant Parmesan and other favorites. They also had sauces and cheeses and pasta. The pastry case was filed with Italian staples like cannolis. If you're looking for a purveyor of authentic Italian items in Concord, this is definitely the spot! They have a nice outdoor dining area and a small area inside as well.
