I came here back in March of this year for my birthday and I loved the room! Everything was really thought out. It was about 75% technical and 25% physical locks. Everything was well thought out! The immersion of the room was really thought out and definitely felt as if we were inside a mansion. Spookiness wasn't bad, I'd compare it to Haunted Mansion from Disneyland. We did Secret at Whitmore Estate which is an oldie but a goodie. Great set design, challenging puzzles with right amount of teamwork required without a lot of bottlenecking. No red herrings, super intuitive puzzle solving. The special effects and tech were on point! Recommend for groups of 4-6, medium level difficulty. Emily was an excellent host and Headcase was a great room overall. The room was well themed and had a lot of unique puzzles. There were a few glitches that interrupted a near perfect gameplay experience, but nothing that would stop you from having a great time. Puzzles in the room aren't particularly difficult if you've played escape rooms before but there's a lot of them in a variety that keeps things interesting for the group. Meant to write this review earlier because Breaking Point Escape Rooms truly deserves it. Whitmore Estate was probably one of the best produced escape rooms I've been to and it's my new bar every time I try a new escape room company. I've done a few different companies--some are basically just cheaply-decorated office buildings with a few puzzles inside and others have really great production design. Whitmore Estate really blew all the other rooms I've been to out of the water. The room was intricately decorated, the puzzles were integrated great into the set, and Breaking Point was really able to establish a cool, spooky atmosphere while playing the game. The puzzles were a nice, hard difficulty (some were a little easy, but there were a few that made us feel like idiots haha). But man, that PRODUCTION DESIGN! Stellar. Everything just felt really polished, well thought out, and high-end. Parking was easy and the staff was great. Would love to try the other room! read more

Breaking Point Escape Rooms sets a new bar for escape rooms in the area. If you're itching to try out an escape room, than look no further! They have two rooms: Patient 17 and Secret of Whitmore Estate. While the Whitmore room is definitely more hyped, we were only able to do the Patient 17 room because the Estate was heavily booked. There are so many bookings for the Estate, get it while you can and don't be like us! Although, the Patient 17 room is horror themed, I would say it's 0% scary. So if you are easily frightened, fear not! There are no jump-scares or darkness or loud noises involved. The rooms was a bit difficult and I would rank it as an intermediate room. Wouldn't be too easy for beginners trying to accomplish without hints. Also mad props to the owners of the room for the level of immersion and story-telling that they put into their rooms. I'm excited for their new upcoming rooms and what they have planned for the location. read more

Worth. The. Hype. Production values for the room we did--Secret of Whitmore Estate--was through the roof! I saw someone had described it as Haunted Mansion-esque and it totally lived up to that description. There was so much detail and theming that it was a must to just take in the room. The fact that all of it was engineered and built by the owners themselves made it even more awe-worthy. You can really tell that they love what they do because there were a lot of unique ideas in the room. The puzzles were adequately challenging and the technology was really well-utilized. I had a group of 8 go in and there was enough for everyone to do and contribute, so everyone could say they had fun. Also Rick and the other game master there were sooo friendly and made the whole experience fun for us from start to finish. As soon as I walked into the lobby, I was so amazed by the awesome decor on the walls and lobby. We were greeted by Ryan and Rick who are extremely friendly and have a great sense of humor. Before entering the room my group and I watched a video of rules and the intro for the room. Okay now for the fun stuff... the room! I was part of a group of 4 (all of us playing 40+ rooms) and we decided to play their new room, Patient 17. Walking into the room, I really appreciated the decor and the attention to details that were added all the way from the ceiling to the floor. As for the puzzles, I enjoyed the creativity as well as the ability to understand the game flow as a whole. There were some creative things in the room that I have yet to see in any of the ones I've played previously (but I won't give those away). Basically, the room was freaking awesome. Emphasis on awesome. Go check them out!! They're awesome and their rooms are fantastic! Also please don't knock us off first place leaderboard Update!!! So we just finished playing their second room, Whitmore Estate! I walked in and immediately got Haunted Mansion vibes and was incredibly impressed by the decor and attention to detail. I had the pleasure to finally visit Breaking Point Escape Rooms this past weekend, not because I have been procrastinating from going, but because the place has always been completely booked whenever I checked. As escape room enthusiasts, my team and I were eager to tackle the Patient 17 room. I must say, the reviews were spot on. There are very very few escape room outfits in the Inland Empire that have put as much time and effort into their rooms as the owners Rick and Ryan have. The production value here is comparable to those that you would find in the more famous escape rooms out in LA! The moment you step into the room you are immersed in the terrifying mad laboratory that is the Patient 17 room, I loved it! As for the room itself, it is mostly a Gen 1 lock and key room with puzzles that led from one to the other without any crazy logical leaps. The puzzles flowed from one to the other in an intuitive way and there was always something to do for our veteran group of 4, however, more experienced groups greater than that may have difficulty dividing enough tasks for everyone to do. Anyone in the Inland Empire who wants to see how a beautifully designed and smooth flowing escape room should check this place out! My team and I can't wait for their new Whitmore Estate room to be opened to the public. read more

Review for Headcase Having done their previous iteration, Patient 17, Headcase was still a breath of fresh air with a familiar set but new flow and puzzles. There are still plenty of surprises. A greater sense of plot was added to the room with some fun twists that sets it apart from the other crazy doctor escape rooms I've done. While the theme has been done a few times before, Breaking Point stands out with great execution in terms of immersion (set, lighting, sounds, video, puzzles). There is an overall smoothness to the experience that makes it highly recommended. Customer service by the two gentlemen, Rick and Ryan, is great as it was before. Warm, friendly and you can definitely tell that they are passionate about what they have made. I love escape rooms (this was room #157 for me) and it's great to be able to support wonderful local talent like them. * COVID Specific * They are serious about Covid safety here. They only allow one party in the lobby at a time and you have to dial in order to be let in. They want all your party present before being let into the building. Masks are worn by the staff and sanitizer is offered at the lobby counter. And only one person allowed in the bathroom at a time. read more

We've done an average amount of escape rooms (60 or so). Some amazing, some okay, and a couple horrible ones. This room is probably on the top 10 rooms we've done. I The design and props were good. The layout and theme (story) was great. The amount of puzzles and was just right. It wasn't all locks and combos, which gets old. We got out with zero clues and 25 minutes to spare, but we didn't make the leaderboard. That's okay though, we still enjoyed it. The staff was friendly. They're looking to open 2-3 more rooms so we'll be back for sure. Definitely recommend this room. It's a great first room or a room for experienced players. read more

This place is MIND BLOWING. From the moment you walk through the door the stage is set. Lobby is spacious, clean and organized. There were even lockers for our purses. Myself and 4 kids (11 and older) did the Mystery at Whitmore. The rooms are incredible in their theming, lighting, and special affects. The story was engaging and thrilling with a scream worthy surprise towards the end. We were wowed! We did need a few hints to complete the room. Remaing game time and hints are displayed on a screen in the room. The kids and I managed to finish with 10 minutes to spare. This was a fantastic experience. My husband and I were on date night and I surprised him with this Escape Room. We've wanted to do one for a while but never had the opportunity. I am beyond pleased that I did book here. We were warmly greeted by the hosts and everything was explained to us thoroughly. I was very anxious about being touched by actors or being scared but I was assured that this puzzle was meant to make us think, not to frighten. I was very grateful for this. Our host informed us that first timers in "a worst case scenario with only two people" will get initial support without it counting against their hint marker. The business itself was decorated in a way to give the ambience life. It was well thought out and gave that feel you were going into your experience. The upcoming room options were being displayed, but they are currently in production. So patience people! The front check in was clean. There are lockers to store your personal items so you can focus on the puzzle. Restrooms are available. Leader board is awesome and motivating. As virgins to escape rooms, I was pleased with the introductions, the rules, the escape room setup, the puzzles were well thought out, and everything that made you think about the overarching storyline. Our host was very cordial and gave us hints as first timers, as we'd never done one. So it did help and made us realize how fully immersive and interactive each situation is. I am impressed by those who finished the puzzles in 60 minutes or less. We did not but got very close. It made us want to go back and finish it. Needless to say, this is one of the best experiences we've shared. It helped us work together, communicate our thoughts, and made us realize things about each other. It's prompted us to want to do more together, even though it's more difficult alone. Its a great couples activity. It was very therapeutic and exactly what I was hoping for!! It's fully online booked so no walk-ins. You have to reserve your space ahead of time. Prices can vary on the number in your party. Normal prices for a party of two is $120 so $60 per person but there are always coupons floating. Prices per person reduce as you increase party size. Keep in mind that the costs of your ticket pay for your experience. So the quality of the room and objects are reflected CLEARLY in the price. For the experience, it's well priced. We played Headcase as our 7th escape game as a group of 5. It was a really fun game with a good story line and lots of interesting puzzles rather than just the typical combo locks. Our game master was great, asked prior to the game if we wanted any "unsolicited nudges", and respected our wishes when we said no. She only ever intervened when we were going to break something or when other members of our party were stuck on a puzzle someone else had already solved (after about 10 minutes of working). We finished the entire game with only 2 comments from the game master, and with nearly 18 minutes to spare. Lots of fun, just on the easier side for those who are pretty experienced. read more
