We came as a group of 5 with 2 first timers - we successfully escaped from "The Kidnapping!" I've only done about 5 escape rooms so not too much to compare to, but "The Kidnapping" started off in the most unique way! It definitely added an extra thrill. We did have to ask for clues about 5-7 times to lead us in the right direction. Our game master, Bec, was very helpful from beginning to end! I like how every member of the group has to collectively agree to use a hint (unlimited hints) before she gave us one. The room was nicely done and a fun challenge overall! Not too crazy complicated and not too easy. I felt like all the puzzles flowed nicely in order. I don't live nearby but the ones who do look forward to trying more rooms. The waiting room has plenty of seats displaying photos of winners from different locations! Water cups and a restroom available. I had a bag which I was able to take in the room with me. Navigating the website to book online, sign waivers, find the building, and parking was all easy!

First time doing an escape room. The story was great and Game master Theo was a great help with his hints! Subtle enough to not give away the answer but still great for us to enjoy the game!

I look rough, but we did it! Highly recommend The Kidnapping!

It's tradition to do an escape room whenever we're in town with our family. We booked a room and we appreciated that they closed the remaining spots to anyone else joining, especially during COVID. William (Will) greeted us and told us he'd be cleaning the room and that it'd take a few minutes. We appreciate that! Thanks William! We'd recommend The Kidnapping. They couldn't do blindfolds because of COVID, but we were still able to be handcuffed, which was an interesting experience. William was a great game master, helped without giving us the exact answer, and was attentive when we needed him. He was very friendly, patient and knowledgeable. He even gave us a recommendation for our next room, Mansion here we come!

My wife and I had a fabulous time escaping the "Do Not Disturb" room with 2 other couples. Our group was welcomed upon arrival by Dana (aka Danasaur) who ended up being our enthusiastic game master. Her engaging passion for doing her job well really made for an enjoyable experience. Obviously solving the room in 52 min's heightens the positivity! The facility appeared to be new with a freshly painted white, red and black color scheme for branding. It was clean and equipped with tech to assist with checkin pre-scenario and photos post-scenario, not to mention well kept restrooms. As we walked down a long hallway, heading to our room, I was impressed by the sheer size of the place noting lots of black painted doors. I made a joke about feeling like I was in West World! Thanks for laughing Dana! Without giving too much away, our room was a decent size that could have held up to 8 adult players. I was impressed by the video story quality as well as the game quality, boasting analog challenges (pad locks, alpha code locks and riddles), audio clues and tactile tech challenges...I don't want to spoil it!!! After exiting the room, we took a group pic with a whiteboard sign showing our successful solve time. The system could email it to multiple people which was nice. We were also given "I broke out" sticker swag. Breakout games even holds monthly drawings for complimentary return visits for a few lucky winners - FREE GAMES ARE COOL! We look forward to returning with couples and/or our kids and will insist on having Danasaur for our game master.

will r.

We did the mystery mansion. Jojo was our "help" person. Jojo was great and did great with giving us clues. It was pretty difficult for us. We've been to a different one before and more of a back story. This particular one just threw you right into it. It was fun with the family and I would go back. The employees were all very nice. Easy checking in online and signing waivers. Just walked in and waited for our room.

My wife and I really enjoyed the train room. The interior design was spot on! Definitely looked like what a higher-end train would look like. The storyline was engaging with a train announcer speaking throughout the experience. Our game master was active and provided clues whenever we became stuck. We had a great time and will definitely be back to do the rest of the rooms!

I'm definitely a fan of these lockless rooms! By reading the clues/hints you "unlock" items or "secrets" to perform the next magic trick. The premise is to find the magician's notebook and the secret behind his disappearance. It was just my sister and me. Although we didn't escape, we truly enjoyed the room and it was so much fun performing (solving) the magic tricks. It's truly an interactive room and was cohesive, creative and well done. Gant, was our game master was great and more than happy to explain what our remaining tricks were to reveal. Looking back, my sister and I had a few oversights which ate our time and we would have otherwise been able to complete the room. By the time I started to figured out part of the few last magic tricks our time ended. The escape room owner, traveled to Greece and did a lockless room abroad which inspired him to devise this room himself ,which he did an excellent job! You get unlimited hints! When we left someone was having a birthday party which they set up a small table in the lobby area. I'm not sure what that entails, although the space is small for that, I think it's a fun idea! The owner also owns Plix Plex arcade across the street which are games of 16 physical challenges. It isn't open yet, but will be soon.

Last minute Aug 2019 Fri night escape room with my brood. In short, it's an overpriced NO FRILLS…read moreplace that, when compared to local competitors, falls short in start to finish quality and experience. Sad since it was our sons' first EscRm. Brandon was nice over the phone, sharing availability and suggesting the lone family friendly room (90's). Booked via SPER website, code made it $90 for 6 ppl, no tax. PRO TIP: check Groupon, add coupon code at checkout for even lower cost. Dark parking lot amplified awkward traffic flow/points of entry and exit; nearly hit by an exiting car while we waited for a space. Inside was open and definitely minimalistic; liked the ping pong table but chuckled at the single (10x13) framed paper logo sign above "the desk," staffed by a female employee that only handled waivers. When I asked how long they were open, she said "after you're done." #Welcome Brandon fumbled through the clunky scenario introduction before walking us up to the room. Some good retro aspects (boom-box, Simon, ET doll, etc) BUT, overall, pretty low rent decor: worn carpet, pixelated color printer "posters," analog wall timer. Ironically, this is a tad reflective of the 90's but mostly my knock against the quality. Lackluster puzzles, challenges, and tasks. A key mistakenly opened 2 different padlocks. #QualityControl. We probably won't return, even if they do deploy more family friendly scenarios. VB escape Room has $90 special for 6 ppl with waaaay more innovation and better crafted scenarios.

I mistook it for an abandoned building. I came in and the room was spacious and open with some corn holes and a ping pong table. I signed in and waited for the rest of my group. They were in the process of training staff, so our introduction was told to us by a trainee. She was ok, but could have been more excited about it. We were showed upstairs to the room and explained the story. The room had good props. We ended up missing a clue because they had curtains closing the room off and another set after the first set of curtains. It was a bit confusing. We had a great time. It was fun! I'd go back again for sure and check out the other rooms.
