FINALLY had a Saturday off, and I'm so sad I wasn't able to make it out here before now. I also brought a bag of books to sell. The processing for the books I brought took about 30 minutes (it was an IKEA bag FULL, I just needed to transfer to one of their bins). That gave me time to look around and see what they might have. Not all of my books were accepted, which was fine, because the reason this place is so big and yet does such good business is that the books are well currated to ensure that they are desirable. Older books, or less desirable are kept down to one copy, whereas more popular books may have three or four of the same book, but the book is popular enough that it will be sold. Value wise, the rare, signed, and first editions area is VERY reasonably priced. Value for books brought in is given as either cash (I was given a lesser amount this way) or store credit I walked out with a few of the sequels of book series I have the first and maybe second of, but this way I could complete the series for less. I also found a few books on my TBR that were available. Books are indeed at used book prices, not hugely marked up, so overall I considered the visit a huge win. Overall, I guess my complaint is only that this is the only location, and I wish there was a sister store more toward central or even the west side of Orlando.

Cute little book store inside the Town Center mall. There is something for everyone here and it not…read morea bunch of filler you might see at other book stores in the area. We found some beautiful old Bibles, some classic literature, some really cool folklore books, great books on Florida, and my personal favorite, music books. Today I picked out two piano books filled with Christmas songs. Pricing here for these old books are a bit high in my opinion. The one book, 23 pages was priced at $7 and the other, 32 pages was priced at $10. I can usually find these for about $4-$5 each at thrift stores because they are not in high demand. I can't complain too much because when I asked the owner, Doug, for a discount he did give me $4 off, which was wonderful. There were a lot of other music books mostly for guitar that I could see spending a little more money on because they're original prices around $20 to $25. I also found a J.S. Bach Bible of music which intrigued me; however, there was no fingerings and it was missing indications of expression present in several of the books In my library, so I decided to hold off on purchasing that one. What's unique about this store when comparing to other book stores in the area is at this store makes binding repairs and performs leather work, which is a plus. I'm sad to say that this was my first time here today. I had no idea that Doug has been running the store for 14 years now. Regardless, I will definitely return next time I'm shopping in the area.

There is a little bit of everything, and the 10-20 books available of a type/topic are going to be special. No filler here. There is also an awesome collection of non-book items - art, prints, collectibles, etc. and you're sure to find something cool. It is, however, unfortunate that it's near a play area of a shopping mall. Depending on the day and time, the screams can get a bit over-the-top. The owner is great guy - knowledgeable, friendly, and pleasant - and he rightfully has pride about his stuff. He will leave you alone until you pay probably, or initiate conversation. The place is very organized - lots of common sense labelling. If you're terrified of those messy book stores with stacks on the floor that requires rummaging, this place is the opposite of that. Wide variety of topics for such a small spot. I only wish it was bigger! Very well-done though.

I have purchased a book a couple times that I needed to exchange or simply return. When I return, I am fine with a gift card VS cash back. After the 1st of the year 2026 I shopped a sizable number of books for upcoming birthdays for my young nieces and nephews. At this time, I also purchased a Calendar/datebook in the form of a book, as I always do year to year so that I have room to make notes for upcoming events, appointments, etc. This year 2026 I purchased later than normal as I typically purchase this for just myself. So, as you enter the parking lot side of the store, straight ahead as a " turn style" type of stand that had the kind of Calendar Books I always purchase. I looked at the design covers and chose one suitable to my hobby as an "avid bird, butterfly, etc" . When I got home, I opened the Calendar and it began in the middle of July. Needless to say this did not suit my needs, so, being a regular customer annually for gift giving, I simply wanted to exchange it for one that reflected the entire year of 2026. The fairly young woman at the checkout desk near the door was very quick to tell me we "cannot exchange" as she went on o say that ALL these Calendar books start in July. That if I wanted one to start in January, I needed to purchase one in 2025. Needless to say, I found this to be absurd. Nevertheless, I asked for a "store credit" since I frequently shopped there, NOTE: I would have just re-spent the credit on some something else while I was there. This girl/young woman refuse ALL options and said there was nothing that could be done about this. *So, here we are mid-July, and I now could of or can use the earlier purchased Calendar. Bottom line is, I purchased another one that suited what I needed and have just left the one from Books A Million set aside. I believe that this young woman had no idea of how to handle a simple transaction, exchange or credit, thus, losing a faithful yearly customer. My advice to shoppers is BE CAUTIOUS, their rules, their regulations can change at the drop of a hat and there was not 1 single suggestion of "I'm sorry", no empathy, no nothing. **I have not shopped in Books A Million at Lake Square Mall, Leesburg, FL ever again. BUYER BE AWARE!

My best friend and I went on a quest to find bookstores we have not visited before. I saw this one…read moreon someone's instagram stories and was intrigued. First, they have a lot of books. When I first walked in I wasn't even sure where to begin but it was great to be able to browse and see their extensive collection. Staff is very friendly and let us know that they curate their books from donations. If you donate your books to them, they create an account where you can have a credit on file to use. As someone, that occasionally does donate books, this is fantastic news! Additionally, all of their books unless otherwise stated are half off the cover value which is incredible and affordable! They definitely had something for everyone there. I look forward to visiting them again, hopefully with some books to give them!

You're not only decluttering your house, but you're helping out a small local business. With every book you bring in, you receive credit toward future purchases. I already have more credit than I'll probably ever use, but I'm happy that my previously read books are going to a good home. The store has a pretty decent used book selection with floor-to-ceiling shelving (and also some graphic novels, CDs, and DVDs). It's always hit-or-miss, so each time I go; I never know what I'll find. There's also a little sitting area with coffee or hot cocoa, if you so desire. How much are the used books? They're half off the cover price. How does the credit work? You get an additional half off the half-off price. So if a book has a cover price of $8, the store sells the book for $4. I can use my credit balance for an additional $2 off (half of the $4), leaving the book at a total of $2. There are also some $1 books on a rack outside the store. Everyone working there is always super friendly and helpful.

Great selection of books, dvds, mixed media, organized really well. They have so much product,…read moretheir shelves flow into stacks of books on the floor. They put care into their displays and what figurines or other trinkets are placed with which books. Their prices aren't as cheap as books when you thrift, but the effort that goes into curating and organizing a collection this big - almost makes it worth the retail prices on some of these books. I also noticed they had some Disney tsum tsum? Figurines that must be slight after and collectible because the retail was 5.95 and the written price for the store was $10.

They also have a lot of CDs, VCR tapes, magazines, and many more items I was unable to explore on this visit. We were on our way to a concert and I had about 30 minutes to look for a few music books, which I found with the staff's help. I have to say that the staff were great and knew exactly where they kept the music books, good job! It's good to know this store has a variety of music books to choose from and for the most part they are organized well, except the ones on the floor. You just have to dig a little. I chose two Faber level III piano books and a Bastien level III piano technique book. The Bastien book was only $2 but it has a lot of notes from previous students. The two Faber books were $6 each and virtually untouched, excellent! Some of the books are on the pricey side, especially some of these old music books, they are asking $20 when the covers are missing and music score is illegible. I just don't see myself spending that much when I can put that $20 towards a brand new book series or Henle Album of exceptional quality. Regardless, I want to support local, and have been very happy with my purchase. I will return again to see what I missed on my previous visit. If you love book stores, this is a good one and definitely worth the stop.
