Don't order a mixed drink! They don't know how to make them. Had an old fashioned . Thought something wasn't right so we walked down the street and ordered another. The second one at a different place a was definitely an Old Fashioned!

Stop in for a quick drink. Or a few. Stop in for a pint. A glass of wine. A cocktail. Stop in for a game of Cornhole outside, or to enjoy the sunshine and food trucks. Just stop IN!! Breakside is always a good option if you're in Downtown Beaverton. Pretty decent prices but a huge spot and it's kid and dog friendly outside!!

Stopped in at lunch time after seeing the great "Winnebeergo" out front in the food cart lot. Sat at the bar and was served by James. I saw a cucumber infused beer but asked him for a refreshing recommendation. He confirmed my choice right off. A good sign. The beer was perfect. Loved the gold geometric wallpaper. Great vibes and a welcoming space. I would be happy to come back.

Love coming here! There's plenty of seating inside and outside. Also has heated areas/fire pits and is always clean (for the most part)! Although we came on a cold day, with the sun shining, it wasn't too bad to sit outside to enjoy our drinks and food. Great drinks to choose from at the bar; beers, cocktails and wines. Outside, there's ~7 food carts to choose from but all great options! No food truck sells similar item; pizza, burgers, sushi, gyros, sandwiches, and chicken. My favorite is the burgers and the chicken truck!

Super fun brewery with plenty of indoor and outdoor seating. It's perfect for a casual lunch or dinner with an enclosed turf area with various food trucks. Great for groups and also offers events like trivia night! They have rotating beers/ciders on tap and also have a full bar. I enjoyed my spicy margarita a lot (very spicy) and also got a poke bowl at one of the food trucks. Service is quick and nothing fancy. I was super happy with the quality and portion of the poke, and overall really enjoyed my meal. The tacos were also a hit. Overall, I think this is a great spot if you're looking for a place with lots of food/beverage options. The outdoor space and food trucks is definitely the selling point for me.

One of my favorite spots in Oregon! Breakside is truly a gem with lots of food carts available. I'm obsessed with farmer and the beast. They have the best smashed vegan patty and fries. The truffle vegan mayo is warm and gooey. It's such an awesome place to take friends from Portland and out of town because there are lots of seating options both in the patio outside and inside. I really like the spicy margarita there and there's an awesome list of drinks available too.

Really liked the outside area of this brewery that had atleast 4 food truck options as well. I got a poke bowl and Hawaiian plate both were very delicious and would order again. I also ordered a sparkling Paloma & margarita from the bar that were both great!

Nice selection of drinks. Wish there were a QR code to check out the tap list selections. I like that you can grab food from the food carts and come inside to sit if it's cold outside. There is a cute lil area by the fireplace to sit or outside by the firepits.

Love this outdoor space connected to the food carts right in downtown Beaverton! The beers on tap are all great as per usual, I got the passion fruit sour and there is indoor and outdoor space to sit in this area. Order inside with the lovely friendly staff at the bar and you can choose wherever you want to sit: picnic tables by the food trucks, benches by the fire pits, outdoor seating right next to the brewery and bonus it's dog friendly too! Great place to get some brews and great food!

ATTENTION ALL BEAVERTONIANS - Breakside has officially landed, and it's fantastic. We came for a beer and a laptop, equipped to do some research whilst sipping a refreshing beer, and WHOA. The ambience is amazing, the beer was delicious, and the staff were great. They also have this rad Beer Garden and Food Cart set up outside! Definitely come check this place out!

We love to come here for drinks with friends! Sitting inside is nice because it usually gets busy and the environment is just happy people hanging out! Outside by the fire is definitely a favorite spot too!

Cute spot. Good renovation work. Just not a ton of indoor seating. Wish they'd fully cover outside is all!

We heard they'll be hosting some festive holiday events soon, and after how much fun we had at this one, we'll definitely be keeping an eye out for those!

5 Stars Midtown Beer Garden: Portland's Oldest Food Cart Pod Gets a Safe, Shady Upgrade…read more431 SW Harvey Milk St (at SW 5th Ave), Downtown Portland If you've been chasing Portland food carts since the early days when they first started popping up downtown, Midtown Beer Garden feels like coming home but with better manners and actual security. This place is Portland's oldest food cart pod (been around since the early '80s), recently refreshed into a lush, gated beer garden with 25+ carts, covered tent seating for hundreds, real bathrooms, shade, greenery everywhere, and most importantly two security guards at the gate. In a downtown that still has its signature edge, that gated entrance is a game-changer. I pulled up, parked, and immediately spotted the full Portland welcome committee: one guy sleeping on the sidewalk looking down on his luck, and a couple of zombies shuffling across the street. Classic PDX. One of them wandered over and, with zero hesitation, asked me for a hundred bucks... or at least to buy him something to eat. We had a good laugh about it. I told him, "Hey man, God bless maybe next time." There's something about this city where the best food and the rawest street life sit right next to each other. It's history. It's real. And yeah, it can feel a little intimidating if you're not used to it, especially if you've got your partner or family in tow. But here's the beautiful part: once you step inside the gate at Midtown Beer Garden, that whole chaotic energy stays outside. It's clean, welcoming, and surprisingly chill. You can actually sit down, enjoy your meal, and not worry about getting hassled. The selection is huge everything from legacy carts to fresh concepts and the vibe makes it easy to do a mini food cart tour. I've stopped in multiple times now, and it never disappoints. Parking can be a little quirky downtown (as expected), but once you're in, it's worth it. You're only about five blocks from the riverfront, perfect if you're planning a walk, some light hiking, or just wandering the city. Shade + bathrooms + security + killer food options = a rare win in this part of town. Look, downtown Portland has always been a mix: some of the greatest cooks, the most interesting people, and yes... a few characters who keep life spicy. Midtown Beer Garden threads that needle perfectly. It gives you the authentic Portland experience without forcing you to eat your taco while dodging drama. Next time I'll probably grab something extra and hand it to one of those folks outside if the moment feels right. A little charity never hurt anyone. In the meantime, this spot gets a solid five stars from me not despite the neighborhood, but because it handles the neighborhood with smart, respectful boundaries while keeping the soul of old-school Portland food carts alive. Highly recommended. Come hungry, stay comfortable, and embrace the full Portland spectrum. Just maybe keep a few extra bucks or a spare meal in mind for the sidewalk philosophers.

Before Facebook could refresh the screen, I was sure too quickly Google search the brewery. I went onto their website as I was eager to get my hands on a case. I reached out and was immediately contacted by Tav at Binary Brewing. He put me in contact with his guy Josh, who was working with their distributor to deliver this particular beer down to southern Oregon so my parents could pick it up for me. The distributor had issues getting the case down, but the folks at Binary Brewing kept in contact with me and continued to attempt delivery. After a second failed attempt by their distributor, Josh stepped up and delivered it down to Beerworks in Medford himself. I was able to enjoy the beer right as the newest book was released. I'm look forward to making my way up to Beaverton at some point and thank them both in person. Cheers to Tav, Josh & Binary Brewing, Co.
