Unfortunately, the customer service was incredibly rude and unprofessional. Weeks in advance, I emailed management to book a spot for our large group. I was explicitly told via email that they don't take appointments and that it was first-come, first-served. Yet, when we arrived in the morning, the front desk staff was highly reluctant to let us in. They claimed a birthday party was starting around noon and told us we could only stay for 1.5 hours--even though I was paying full price for All-Day passes. When the staff member claimed this rule was clearly stated on their website, I asked her to show me. She couldn't find it. Instead, she dug up an outdated physical document that mentioned a 90-minute limit, but it listed a $25 price point rather than the current $30 rate posted online. It was obvious she was using old, irrelevant policy documents just to justify kicking us out early. Great facility, but the staff's dishonesty and poor attitude ruined what should have been a seamless celebration.

One extra touch that really stands out is how involved the owner, Danny, is. He actually takes the time to check in with you, see how things are going, and make sure you're feeling supported. Even the motivating emails make a difference -- they help keep you accountable and remind you why you're showing up in the first place. This gym feels less like a place you just work out and more like a community that actually cares about your progress. Community is a big deal here, and building it is one of the main focuses of the gym. The coaches are also great at providing knowledgeable/personalized feedback. I know people are hesitant to invest in a CrossFit membership ($$) but coming from someone who's paid for multiple gym memberships and barely used them, this one is definitely worth it. The value is in having a whole community help push you towards your fitness goals. So many days I didn't feel like training but then started working out with friends and all of a sudden, it's like you're playing a game. Everyone is beyond friendly here and finding people willing to suffer through a WOD with you is pretty easy. If you want to have fun and improve your health and fitness in the process, I'd definitely recommend Excel for you.

Multiple members have noticed and openly discussed cockroaches in both the gym area and bathroom stalls, as well as black widows in the lifting room. This isn't an isolated incident--it's something that has been consistently brought up among members. What's most frustrating is the lack of acknowledgment or visible action taken to address it. For a facility of this quality, basic sanitation and safety should be a top priority. Unfortunately, due to these concerns not being resolved, I ultimately had to cancel my membership. I hope management takes these concerns seriously, because this gym has a lot of potential and I would genuinely love to return if improvements are made

She is such a kind and caring soul who is very passionate about helping others through yoga and it shows through her work. I also participated in the private yoga nidra exploration session and the experience was very enlightening. Jamila provide a very comfortable and intimate environment which allowed me to open up and dig deep while setting my intention. She tailored her practice to my specific needs which helped me realize what was preventing me from my intentions and how I can achieve them while working on my self. The yoga nidra exploration session helped me tremendously. I had a wonderful session thanks to her guidance which allowed me to exercise my mind, body, and heal my spirit. The only place where I would give it four stars are for the cardio equipment. The bike felt a little awkward to use, the treadmill was a bit high to get onto with people who have knee problems.
