She would not provide any information until I scheduled and appointment. Following that, their 'welcome staff' would call and go over everything with me. I asked if I was permitted to physically go into the office in Culpeper, Virginia; response "yes, but they will not be able to make an appointment for you." She was politely 'pushy'; after providing no information without my scheduling an appointment, she asked if there were any other family members with whom she could help with dental needs! I commuted from Warrenton for this dentist, until Boussy goofed a filling up while he was flirting with the hygienist over my chair - he even dropped the drill when she said something flirty to him. That was okay - I mean it happens and fillings aren't always cut and dry. What matters is how they went about fixing it. I made the return trip down there and sat in the waiting room for an hour, then sat in the dentist chair for another hour until they told me they were closing and wouldn't be working on me. I was pissed and the receptionist was a jerk to me. I told them to have my files ready when I returned because I was taking them with me next time. Then, when I returned for the second time for them to fix their mistake, they kept me waiting for ANOTHER hour past my appointment. And they didn't have my files ready. Bullshit waste of my time - and they kept automatically rescheduling my appointments for me after I told them to remove me from their patient lists. I had to call them time and time again to get them to straighten it out. This was a year or two ago, so maybe they have gotten better.

I can honestly say this was the most gentle and considerate exam and cleaning I have ever had. It wasn't all doom and gloom either. Yes, I do need to have oral surgery, however the referral to their "favorite " oral surgeon was better than anticipated as well. They called to get my appointment as I was standing there, knowing my anxiety was high. I felt so well taken care of. Start to finish. Him and his assistant make complicated procedures seem very simple. He backs up his work and makes sure you are happy with the outcome . He is one of the most honest dentist i have seen in my life. He would tell you exactly if your tooth need a filling or a crown. I have seen them about once a week for 2 months for different procedures; cleanings, fillings, crowns, etc. The staff have been nothing but nice and accommodating. She had an opinion of what needed to occur but took it to a panel of oral surgeons to review. She got us in touch with an amazing oral surgeon that worked very closely with her. My son had his surgery (braces were needed for this process) . He is now pain free ! Dr Eppard was so caring and wanted him to have the best outcome possible.
