Wings (Breeza) really needs to invest in customer service training. The employee at the register was extremely rude and not helpful at all. My friend and I recently went to Wrightsville Beach. We stayed at Station One which was conveniently located within walking distance of everything we needed, including a Wings! We went here for an umbrella (be sure and get a vented top) and the tool to screw it into the sand. I also got a gift box set of 2 Wrightsville Beach shot glasses on sale for only $3.00! Wrightsville Beach is doing a great job of taking safety measures to make you feel safe. So much so, that I emailed their Mayor, Darryl Mills. I will definitely visit again next year. read more

BUYER BEWARE!!!! We purchased two boogie boards for our trip to the beach. Within an hour, both of the boogie boards had broken. We took the boards back the next day and wanted to exchange or return them. We found out that even though Wings' policy is returns or exchanges within seven days with receipt, this does not include anything from the beach. We paid $60 for these two boards and only used them for under an hour! They were made in China and COMPLETE pieces of junk!!!! Now we have two worthless boards that we can't even ride. Heavily inflated prices and very poor customer service with A ZERO RETURN POLICY! Think about that...it's crazy! They can sell complete junk and when it breaks, the customer has nothing they can do. read more

This was one of the worst shopping's experiences I've ever had. Rude and disrespectful employees. Clothing sizes VERY LIMITED for larger sizes in the cuter designs and be prepared to be followed around like you're gonna steal something yet allow others to steal without blinking an eye ( this was witnessed). Watch carefully for stains and holes in clothing as well as flaws with the way the designs are put on. Prices not that great either even for a souvenir shop. My recommendation is to go to Carolina Beach about 30 min away for souvenirs! read more

Super Rude employees! They are not wearing masks, be considerate to people who visit your store and try to learn good customer service. We bought an umbrella that we wont be able to use because its already broken, minutes after try returning it but they said that beach accessories cannot be returned. OK, I get what the others have said about Wings and while its true, I just hate hate driving over the bridge and seeing that big pink tacky building. It's just not Wrightsville! There are so many other things, cooler things that could have come into that building! Things run by locals, something with more character and less cheese! Most of the stuff you can get at wings you can also get at Walgreens, Wal-Mart or Target, all which are less than 4 miles away. So we don't really need it .. and so then the question is do I want it .... No, thanks, I can do without Wings. So for that reason I'm anti-Wings! read more

This place is the quintessential souvenir shop. Everything was cheap. Everything was kitschy. I'm a little confused at the Confederate flags next to the Bob Marley poster, but live and let live. If you're looking for a gift to take home to that weird friend of yours, I suggest a pirate head made out of a coconut or the breast shaped coffee mug. read more

Hello, I am only providing this review because even though there is a sign on the door requiring masks, there were multiple employees not wearing masks and saying it was an option for them. I shopped annually at the Wrightsville Beach store for many years while visiting the beach and have been pretty happy with the quality versus low cost tradeoffs of merchandise. However, two weeks ago I bought two t-shirts and the first time I washed them 100% of the decal came off. I now have two plain t-shirts. Wings is an overpriced beachwear and tourist shop, but it is very conveniently located. My wife forgot to pack her beach hat so we wandered in here as we didn't want to drive into Wilmington proper. They get two stars only because I was able to find a fedora to fit my obnoxiously large head; I've been looking for a plaid fedora in my size that I didn't have to buy from a hat shop for big $$. Wings actually had one that fit. I have to agree with Diana P. though, only visit Wings as a last resort, unless you're a similarly obnoxiously large-headed person in search of a fedora. read more

It's ok to get the stuff here, if you forgot something at home. Otherwise it's a very unorganized place with cheap stuff and high prices. I got goggles for my son which were so tight that he did not wear them at all. But there are no other stores nearby to buy beach stuff. Parking is paid and expensive, outside the store. read more

I gotta stay with the one star, this story is mostly based for tourist, and the problem with that is for people in the area to get good beachwear it should be more competitive and not based just on high sticker price for tourists to dump money but it should be good for our community year-round price wise anything good there is a million bucks. read more

My wife and I have shopped at Wings many times in our travels to Wrightsville Beach. Never really had a problem until now. Last time we were there, my wife spotted a pair of nice Maui Jim sunglasses ($300+). We didn't get them. I was there with a friend and decided to surprise my wife. They were also 20% off, so everything seemed right on. Well, I didn't notice one of the nose pads was missing. When I presented them to my wife that night she was super-excited, but immediately said, "Oh, they're missing a piece." I had the receipt, the case, the box, and the tags were still on the sunglasses. I called Wings, and told my story to the awful woman who manages Wings. She said nastily, "How do I know you didn't break them?!" I pleaded my case. They were less than 12-hours old, of which 11.95 hours of which they were in the case in the box! She said, "No refunds, no exchanges, no exceptions!" They wouldn't even THINK about giving me a new nose pad! She hung up on me as I raised my voice. I called Maui Jim to complain and they offered me free nose pads for life! Thank you, Maui Jim! NEVER, EVER shop at Wings unless at gunpoint! read more
