HATE their customer service because it is AI Chat ONLY. No human to call to get help with options to change Flight.

The best part of these flights is that they are direct, and that's basically where the positives end. You may think that the flights are more affordable than larger carriers, but once you add carry on bags, personal items, and select your seat, you are likely to be at the same price or even more than what you'd pay on Delta, etc. After being stranded due to missing a connecting flight last winter on Delta, Nate and I decided to try Frontier Airlines. We've flown Frontier to Austin and that was a better experience. We got a text on the day we were to fly home that our flight was significantly delayed. I checked on Google, the RSW airport site, and Flight Aware and none of them had been updated to reflect this delay. So we were stuck wondering if we should head to the airport or not. Eventually we decided to just go to the airport as 1) traffic is always terrible in the Naples area and it was pouring rain and 2) I figured since we wouldn't be able to lounge by the pool we could at least get some work done at the airport. (Forgetting that RSW is severely lacking in places to even sit, let alone get any work done.) So we headed to the airport. Frontier kept delaying the plane and the only reason given was that the incoming aircraft was delayed. It was coming from Michigan and there was no weather happening there, so we were a bit confused. It kept getting delayed longer and longer which was super annoying but what can you do? Airlines are supposed to give you meal vouchers if the delay is significant AND the delay is their fault. So of course I assume Frontier would say the delay was not their fault. They did give us $150 in airline credits but I haven't even looked to see what the stipulations are for using those. The flight itself was fine and we were in an exit row so we had plenty of leg room. They will promote their credit card and try to get you to sign up at least once during your flight which is also annoying. Plus you have to buy everything on board including water, so definitely bring your own snacks and water bottles. I will continue to fly Frontier if absolutely necessary, but it certainly isn't my first choice.

On this day, I made an in-and-out trip to St. Louis in one day. I woke up at 3 AM and headed to the airport around 4 AM for a 6 AM flight. Traffic on I-75 was interesting. Down to one lane for construction, and you must go slowly for workers' safety. The plane left on time and arrived on time. The return flight YIKES! I was scheduled for a 7:40 return flight. Then it started. Flight delays 8:47, 9:17, 9:52, 10:10, 10:16, 10:25. I arrived 2 hours early, so I was sitting in the airport for 5 hours. Then we received a gate change. We went from one end of the concours to the opposite end--a fine stretch of the legs. I only asked the desk one question: "Will the crew time out?" I was assured they would not. On the plane, we found out they had multiple issues they had to overcome. First, all the people on the plane who were going to miss their connections in St. Louis. They have to get them off the plane AND get their luggage. Very time-consuming. Yet their problems kept going. The plane had a flat tire and needed to be replaced, and all the paperwork and safety checks took longer. This was after they deplaned the passengers. I was not in a bad mood. I was a little upset, but when I heard the woes of the plane, I just chalked it up to oh well, I am retired. When I walked into the home, I had been up for 24 hours. I felt every bit of my age. P.S. The original delay was weather-related.

Once we got on the plane everything was fine, but come on Jet Blue-you gotta communicate better. Airport signs say one thing, the App says another, and the gate workers gave us different info as well. I don't mind flying Jet Blue, but the gate service didn't make this a great experience today. My wife was flying to Indonesia on a $1.2k+ round‑trip ticket (Qatar + JetBlue) and got denied check‑in because of how her name appeared, even though she has flown many times domestically and internationally using that format. The staff member, Marvin, was dismissive and unhelpful: 1) He blocked another staffer who offered to assist us using her passport details. 2) He ignored our explanation that her ticket was booked as "Nurmalia Nurmalia" (a common workaround for single‑name travelers) and that U.S. immigration often uses "FNU" ("First Name Unknown"). His colleague later confirmed the FNU practice, but Marvin refused our explanation. He treated us like we had never flown before. My wife has flown many times both domestically in the U.S. and internationally, and has never had an issue with how she books her flight tickets. 3) Despite our calm, polite behavior, he ended the interaction by saying we should just fly with another airline, even though we already had the ticket. His behavior cost us over $1,200, and felt culturally insensitive and unprofessional. We strongly urge JetBlue to review Marvin's conduct and consider whether he should remain a front‑line representative. If you're an international traveler with a single name, be cautious, JetBlue's system and staff may not be prepared to support your situation.

Our first experience with this years ago was not great, as the boat was full of highly intoxicated passengers, but this time around things were more subdued. However, I had an absolutely bizarre experience with the bartender "Justin" on this trip. On the return trip, I approached his bar area to buy a beer. He was actively engaged in a conversation with a man at the bar. I waited several minutes. He never made eye contact with me or acknowledge me in anyway. So, I simply went to the other bar, ordered my beer, and as I turned to walk away, "Justin" was standing right in front of me and confronted me about leaving his bar. He reprimanded me for not being patient while he was giving "good customer service" to the man he was chatting with. I was in disbelief that he would approach me in such a manner, and I turned to bartender who served me and and said "Are you actually seeing this and hearing this right now?" As "Justin" walked away after his rant, the other bartender said, "I thought you knew him and he was just joking with you at first." I said, "No, I don't know him and he wasn't joking." The bartender then concluded, "Well I guess he's just in a bitchy mood tonight." It was just really strange, and an act of aggression as far as I'm concerned for him to approach me like that. When I returned to my seat with my husband, we then obsesrved another young crew member with long beard standing on the corner of "Justin's" bar staring daggers at us as if we were somehow being problematic. I hope someone at Key West reads the reviews and checks the cameras to verify this incident. You will clearly see that I was completely ignored at his bar, and then he came over to me and got right up in my personal space to confront me. Who does that?
