I get it, flying to or from Newark is a nightmare right now, but there is no need for slow, disorganization in Terminal D today. Once we got on the plane everything was fine, but come on Jet Blue-you gotta communicate better. Extremely disappointed with the check‑in experience at RSW (Southwest Florida International Airport). My wife was flying to Indonesia on a $1.2k+ round‑trip ticket (Qatar + JetBlue) and got denied check‑in because of how her name appeared, even though she has flown many times domestically and internationally using that format. The staff member, Marvin, was dismissive and unhelpful: 1) He blocked another staffer who offered to assist us using her passport details. 2) He ignored our explanation that her ticket was booked as "Nurmalia Nurmalia" (a common workaround for single‑name travelers) and that U.S. immigration often uses "FNU" ("First Name Unknown"). His colleague later confirmed the FNU practice, but Marvin refused our explanation. He treated us like we had never flown before. My wife has flown many times both domestically in the U.S. and internationally, and has never had an issue with how she books her flight tickets. 3) Despite our calm, polite behavior, he ended the interaction by saying we should just fly with another airline, even though we already had the ticket. His behavior cost us over $1,200, and felt culturally insensitive and unprofessional. We strongly urge JetBlue to review Marvin's conduct and consider whether he should remain a front‑line representative. Due to my latest experience I do not recommend anyone to fly JetBlue from any airport. My flight for my sister's wedding was completely changed and cut short by an entire day. When I called to change it back they put me on a flight that has an 8 hour layover in New York and said it's the best they can do. I will be cancelling both of my JetBlue credit cards upon returning from this trip. Fly another airline! read more

Jet blue uses other agents not affiliated with their company to book flights. I was scammed, due to the inability to contact anyone at Jet blue about my name being spelled wrong on the reservation. Which is not possible since the credit charge went through, I called and was told all agents were busy, and I need to go on line, I used the online chat and the reply was they did not understand my question please call an agent. I tried a handful of times. As Jet blue disconnected my call, the phone rings from what looks like an agent with Jet blue, their logo appears as the caller ID. I was told this is Jet Blue customer service and that I would need to pay 75 dollars for a name change, which I replied I will not pay for an error made from your side. You could not have charged my account with the last name spelled wrong. He said he can help me by changing the entire reservation and giving me a credit for the original. I replied that I would like to see the credit on my bank card before we set up a new reservation. He said it will take 3 business days to appear. He cancelled my original flight. I asked again for something referring to the credit. He sent instructions to accept the charges of 934 dollars, which I said NO! where is the credit you charged me twice. He said I will be getting airline credit. I accused him of lying to me and demanded he refund the original reservation. I hung up and tried to call Jet blue again same message and hang up. I got into my car and drove to RSW FT. Meyers and went to the reservation desk for help. They looked into it, called someone higher up, and said that they could not get the funds back to me. They did see a credit for the reservation flight number of 237 dollars but not under my name and connected to a different e-mail. No one had the ability to change this to my account. and the amount is less than the original cost .The loss is 497 dollars. The company on the debit with my bank is call GO Easy Air Inc, They have a web site and what looks like a travel agency. But here is the issue, I hold Jet Blue totally responsible for the way they do business. Buying a ticket from them is rolling the dice. unless you go to the airport and purchase it with an agent on-sight. The lack of customer service is what makes it easy for scammers to prey on the general public. The business model at Jet Blue is seriously flawed. No one should have access to their base of customers, which this guy clearly did. Their iron clad sales of low cost tickets means you get what you deserve. I was reminded through the whole process that I bought a no refund ticket, by the scammer as well as Jet Blue desk agents, so there was nothing they can do. The error of my name being spelled wrong should not have cost one thin dime. Yet Jet Blue will not help recoup these losses. I will be speaking to a lawyer, I can no longer accept the customer service that has Americans calling for help routed to a foreign country to risk scams. Jet Blue has protected every penny that comes from wherever you happen to fall prey to their policy, what do I expect from a no frills airline? No frills of course. I booked this flight with them because of the times of the round trip. I never expected to spend an entire day trying to track down a simple reservation and loss of funds, having to close my accounts. Follow up: I am on day 5 of an unresolved issue, and the second ticket the scammer set up has a different e-mail, phone number and my sons name spelled wrong on his reservation. I am sure this is to clear him in the police investigation and bank investigation that the information on that ticket I gave him. When in fact I did not. The Travel Credit with Jet Blue is tied to the made up email and phone number. So I have no access to the travel credit. And I was able to fix my sons name through the direction of a Travel Agent who was able to finally get the chat agent to understand the simple issue of a name correction. But, this agent also called me the second I tried to hang up on my call waiting for customer service from Jet Blue that had a wait time of 78 minutes. I tried to end the call it went on hold and I could hear since it was on speaker phone I was hooked up to an outside agent. While I spoke to him my original call to Jet Blue stayed on hold. read more

I booked flights on JetBlue and paid extra for checked bags. Then the airline changed my flight schedule. I called and changed to another flight and was told there would be no additional charge since the change was caused by them. But then I got an email saying I hadn't paid for the checked bags which was untrue. I called to clear that up and was put on hold for almost 30 minutes with the worst "hold" music I've ever heard. The agent finally came back and said she had fixed the problem, but would not confirm it in writing. Now I have no way to know if the problem is fixed or not. I was previously told it was fixed, but it wasn't. It isn't too much to ask to get an email withdrawing the problem email or at least confirming that all is paid for. read more

So I am on a flight from Fort Meyers to Boston. The flight was supposed to leave at 1:30. I got to the gate early just before 11. When I got here the plane was sitting empty at the gate. We were supposed to start boarding at 1245. At 1250 we get an announcement that they plane is very hot and that the air conditioning is taking a long time to cool it off. At 1:15 we are told there is a maintenance issue with the plane. At 1:30 we get told they have found the issue and it should take around 30 minutes. At 1:45 we are told there is a problem with the air condition again waiting for another update. Jet Blue's customer service is terrible. They get mad at the customers who are upset. Now we were just told we need to wait another 45 minutes. Jet Blue is terrible. Will never fly them again read more

Got to the airport on 2 hours before my flight. Saw my airplane arrive to hear there is a problem with the plane. I wait 1 hour get a message they are trying to fix the plane. This company is a joke ! They canceled our flight going back to NY with no reason or option to get my family and I back home !! My wife is a first responder and was the only female on duty for a 3 night shift ! She obviously wasn't able to make it to work because of this. They didn't care and they didn't even try to accommodate even just my wife . This company is absolutely disgusting!! They only care about dollars and cents and not at all about the clients that keep them in business. We weren't able to get home for 2 more days costing us another $1100 in lodging and $250 in rental car fees plus food . My wife missed an entire 3 day shift at work and I fell behind at my job as well.I strongly recommend not using jet blue especially if your traveling with little ones and certainly not to use them going to foreign country ! I have now been stuck in Ft. Myers since the morning of 8/2 when my flight was delayed due to mechanical problems. I am traveling with 2 children and an elderly mother. They scheduled us for a flight to a different airport for that evening, delayed it at 10.13pm, then again at 12.15am and at 1.18 am, they finally cancelled it. They then scheduled us for a flight the next evening at 7.51pm which was cancelled at 4.20 that evening. They scheduled my elderly mother on a flight by herself to Boston, then another one to Newark with no rerouting for myself and the kids. When I called about this, they rerouted all of us to JFK ( original flight was to Westchester ) on 8/5 at 6.58pm. My compensation for 4 days delay is $50 for each person to go into their JetBlue mileage. When asked about compensation, I was told "no". I have been a JetBlue customer for decades and I think their treatment of stranded passengers is a disgrace. 2 out of the three flights were cancelled due to mechanical problems and I'm out hundreds of dollars spent on 4 extra days in Florida. It is now 8/5 at 5pm and my flight is delayed yet again. Who knows if I'll ever get home. read more

I don't know what happened this MORNING @ the counter!wee approached the help desk do to a seating problem on my part!
