It certainly lived up to the recommendations. We had maybe a 3 minute wait for a table on a busy Friday morning. There were lots of specials on the blackboards on the side wall. Coffee came out quickly; it was piping hot and mellow, with very frequent refills. I did try the bread, an apple-cranberry, grilled/toasted medium with a pat of butter for extra yum. I opted for the hash Benedict with fruit instead of potatoes. I got potatoes by mistake anyway, but they immediately brought over the fruit. The eggs were perfectly cooked, the Hollandaise was flavorful, and the hash was crisp and not greasy at all. Now it's my turn to be a good friend and pass the recommendations forward for others.

If only there was a Box Lunch back at home, that would be amazing. It's recommended to call ahead of time to place your order, if not, that's not a problem. Waiting usually takes 5 - 10 minutes without calling ahead. There are some tables if you choose to eat in, although, they are well known for take out. Service is always great, seeing the same worker(s) over the years and even recognizing us. Now that's what I call, awesome personality.

Again, the eggs were perfectly cooked. The hash was good and not too salty. Their home fries are banging so of course I stole some of them from his plate. They have quite a bit of seating, but they can be very busy at times and there will be a wait. I've never waited very long for my food though. Even if it not busy, we usually choose to sit in the bar. It's cozy and has a nice old school ambiance. As with most places on the Cape, they have bike parking outside, and it's pretty easy access from the CCRT so it's a nice spot to stop after or during your ride.
