Went out exploring on our trip to the Cape and found this place in Orleans. Queer o meter is a solid 10. Service folks and customers alike. It's off season, so I venture it's mostly locals here now. Nice work mah peeps! This is a solid choice. You can see in the pics we got just about everything. They serve lunch and breakfast all day - bonus! Pretty straightforward breakfast items and all cooked correctly, tasty and hot. A thing to note, you order and they bring it to your table in to go boxes. New favorites: the apple fritter and cinnamon roll. Both are packed with flavor, massive and even good on day 2! Only tried these since the sugar bun was sold out and I am so happy that I did. The sausage croissant is also amazing. The almond delight iced coffee is good, especially if you like an almond joy. Long lines by 9am during peak Cape cod months and things will be sold out by then. Outstanding breakfast sandwich and pancakes--an outing marred for this Texas visitor by a staff member declaring others on duty could pour me no more than one "free" iced tea refill. She was adamant amid what looked to me like uncertain looks from colleagues. I commented only that this "policy" must have changed from my two nice recent breakfast stops. I hope whoever owns/runs this stalwart place sorts this to the benefit of all iced tea gulpers. (I'm adding a photo of iced tea in a Texas restaurant.) The store doesn't post its "one refill" policy. Fifth star would be for the corned beef hash which was delicious but one star was taken away because the picnic tables needed a wipe up ( lots of evidence of previous patrons). Wife had California Benedict with Hollandaise on the side. Focaccia gave the dish a nice crisp and depth of flavor. Spinach, tomato and avocado were all very good. For both dishes, the eggs were well cooked (runny like we ordered and like them). First time here and we will be back for a Reuben sandwich sometime soon. read more

Wonderful donut store and breakfast place in West Yarmouth. Awesome donuts, went there on national donut day and had a huge smores donut. It was covered in flamed marshmallows and Graham crackers. It was huge. I also had a egg and cheese sandwich on an everything bagel. It was equally great and very big. The egg was a scrambled patty with cheese inside. Wonderful staff, great place. This place is a solid 4. Was visiting family and parents didnt get the whole "you order then sit down" concept. The hostess, an older, very beautiful woman who perhaps an island accent, was very understanding and made them comfortable. We sat upstairs and looked at the menu, then went down to order. It's standard bakery fare from the outside but the menu is so much more! If I lived here, I'd go often. So many standouts, but I went for the standard BEC on a bacon, scallion cheddar biscuit. Add tomato and the cheese? Cheddar. Eggs, scrambled. It was near perfect. The egg was perfectly..... perfectly.... Expertly folded..... I'm still dreaming of that folded egg. Always needs to be folded .... The tomato, bright and crisp.... Now... what would make it perfect? The bacon was way too well done for me, I'm a crisp/soft girl. I like a bit of a chew (could I request that)? And the biscuit WOULD have been delicious if it had not been raw. I hate to say it.... But doughy, floury, I'm not sure it was baked. Could've just told me they weren't available because if done right, I KNOW they would be perfection. I'm going to this place every time I go to the cape! Service was top notch.... We had lunch and both entrees were very good, a standard eggs Benedict and a mulligan Benedict. Service was prompt and the food was delivered to our table quickly. We were there around 1pm and the place was rocking. Always a reliable breakfast / lunch destination. We will return. read more

The coffee is very weak, and the espresso tastes under extracted and poorly pulled. Dissapointing

The breakfast was quite good. They have private parking, the view is nice in the seating area. The only strange thing is, you order at the counter & then the servers bring you the food.... Other than that. I enjoyed the experience! The coffee was fantastic. read more

Have been visiting Hole In One for years and LIVING their Apple Fritters (my one splurge every few months as a 'gluten sensitive person.'). When we got there today the fritters were all gone so I got a 'no additional gluten' blueberry muffin- that means it was gluten free EXCEPT that it is made in a facility that uses gluten so there might be cross-contamination. IT WAS DELICIOUS- so light I can't believe it is not made with regular flour and my decaf mocha late with caramel was also delicious and delivered with a smile. This review is for the jelly donut and the blueberry old fashioned donuts only. Easily accessible from the bike path. There's usually a line but it moves. Their jelly donut is great but could definitely be filled a little deeper. The blueberry old fashioned donut is really a show stopper. This place does bready brioche style donuts so I prefer their crumbly cake pls fashioned donuts with the glaze. Really great Maine blueberry flavor! Lovely bathrooms. The best place for a doughnut on the Cape in my opinion. It's everything you want in a classic doughnut - light but not greasy and sweet but not artificially sweet. The sour cream doughnut is a winner for anyone who loves a crumbly cake doughnut while the honey doughnut is a solid yeast doughnut that is soft and chewy. We got a vanilla cold brew and a coconut cold brew. I didn't really like the vanilla one but to be honest I'm not sure if I've ever found a vanilla cold brew that I've actually enjoyed. That said the coconut cold brew is solid. The iced coffee is on the lighter roast side so if you want a stronger coffee taste in a cold drink maybe go with the nitro. The service was very friendly and the line moved quickly. Definitely worth checking out. read more

Visiting in the off season, we were so happy that we found this location on Yelp. I am a big fan of cold brew coffee and they have wonderful coffee with seasonal cream cold foam flavors which I highly recommend. The donuts are good, but the lemon blueberry scone and chocolate dipped almond biscotti were wonderful! We got take-out one morning for breakfast and everything was excellent. The gravy and biscuits are home made and flavorful. The blueberry crunch pancakes with granola are a must have with plump fresh blueberries. Maple bacon pancakes are also a must-try, adding in some of that salty and sweetness flavor combos. Staff was very nice and prices very reasonable. I would highly recommend stopping in. read more

We got a couple of breakfast sandwiches for takeout and they were great. Counter service people were friendly, helpful and polite. We hasn't been to this restaurant in a long time and the interior changes were very nice and modern. We will definitely be back to try out more of their menu. read more

This used to be our favorite breakfast place in the Orleans/Eastham area. Unfortunately they have gotten rid of table service and you now order at the counter, receive food in take out boxes and bus your own table. It was a very disappointing experience. We will not be back. But if you go be sure to order their muffins GRILLED. They make delicious muffins and grilling them takes them to a whole other level. read more

The breakfast I had was the best I've had in Orleans. Great pancakes. However there is a big flaw in their concept. If you eat in you are served your meal in a clam-box to go container. This results in a highly dissatisfying dining experience. I asked why they didn't just use paper plates instead, which would probably save them money, but they had no answer. Great little spot for breakfast on the cape! The cafe drinks are worth five stars on their own but the prices are a little high for the food portions. Not crazy expensive but a little more than I was expecting for a quaint spot like this. They had homemade whipped cream you could add on some of the drinks. Try the caramel! Ordered a late breakfast to go and was not disappointed. I ordered the potato pancakes with poached eggs, Canadian bacon, buttered toast, and a hot golden tea. Everything was amazing! The eggs were cooked just right (medium poached). I've never had potato pancakes like these - they were a little greasy and perhaps deep fried at some point, but otherwise delicious. Got takeout here during the pandemic. Online ordering process was easy, setup was safe, and the food was overall very good. The toast is homemade, and the French toast was some of the best I've had anywhere. Omelette was also very good. Staff was friendly. I knocked them one star because we ordered pancakes and specified no meat, but they came with bacon piled on. This is a problem since we don't eat pork. I imagine they would have remade them for us, but I had already driven to the hotel and we didn't have time to go back. read more

Had a great breakfast, coffee and donut here while my car was over the road getting a service. Great friendly staff, accurate order taking, 'mighty fine coffee', staff working the room to keep it clean and good tunes. Had the eggs benedict, they were tasty with a nice side of home fries. I wish that dine in would have real plates cutlery and crockery. So much better for the environment and nicer to eat from. Hole in one is an old family favorite for breakfast. The food is reliable and consistently good. Today we had a side of corned beef hash and a side of eggs over easy. A CBH meal is huge so sides work well. My partner got a 2x2 with cinnamon roll French toast, eggs and ham. The French toast was tender and not too sweet. The corned beef hash was crisp and heavy on the corned beef, which is great. Service is now all "take out" where you order at the counter and then choose your own seat. Wait staff then brings your meal in cardboard take out containers. I miss the old days of table service, plates and metal cutlery, but with the availability of staff being low on the Cape now it's a good solution. Favorite seating is upstairs in the sunroom. Their website is quite deceiving. I expected to be seated & waited on. Rather you order at the counter & when your food is ready, you are presented w/ a cardboard carryout container & plastic ware. The woman ​at the cash register was rude. She kept insisting that I "tap" my credit card instead of inserting it into the reader. The eggs Benedict was OK, the eggs were nicely poached but all the sauce/yolk yumminess was lost on the cardboard. And trying to "saw" the pre-toasted English ​muffins w/ a plastic knife was frustrating. Maybe the carryout baked goods are what people come for. When I was eating, they decided to empty the overflowing trash bin adjacent to the table. The trash ended up on the floor & I had to listen to the 2 women discuss how they didn't want to touch "this, that, & the other" even though they were wearing gloves.
