    Station Breakfast Sandwich

Station breakfast sandwich- we both got it and loved!! The bacon jam was so yummy and the whole sandwich worked together perfectly. It was filling but we didn't feel overstuffed after. Highly recommend!

Top notch classic Benedict's, great coffee, incredible service. Pancakes also are some of the best we've ever had. Cute interior with a great vibe. The host (owner?) was also very friendly and engaging. Definitely worth the wait !

Muffins, fresh fruit salad, bacon strata & home fried

Back in late winter, I contacted the Chatham Filling Station about catering a small pre-wedding breakfast for early June. Rik (the owner) was wonderful. Talking me through the menu, explaining the wonderful muffins his wife bakes, and putting us on his calendar to follow up with closer to the wedding. Several weeks before our event, Rik got in touch to confirm the order & get me pricing. And everything was wonderful! Picking up the food was easy - our order was packaged up & everyone there was so helpful- carrying out the food to our car, getting us plastic utensils, etc. Food was so good: fruit & muffin plate ( what a great fresh fruit salad!), bacon strata exceeded my expectations & perfectly seasoned home fries. I'd definitely go dine in the small cozy restaurant next time I'm around & try some of the other delicious food they have.

We came here for the first time and heard it had good breakfast so we decided to give it a shot well I ordered the station breakfast sandwich it came with egg, cheese, avocado, tomato, and bacon jam !! With all those ingredients and the sandwich was tasteless!! Exactly tasteless the sandwich fell apart at first bite coffee was basic! And don't get me started on the price!! Sooo overpriced ! Side of toast was $3 side of corn beef hash was $11 ! Outrageous! But the pancakes were good though but also overpriced 2 pancakes for $10!!! We will not be returning it was not worth the price we paid!

    $12.50 breakfast sandwich

The ambiance was nice. There is a very cool mural. The food was all fine. Nothing special. Our waitress was good. What I didn't like is that everything was extra. I ordered a $12.50 breakfast sandwich that didn't come with anything. Not sure how I came to that decision. A side of fruit was $5.50, 3 strawberries for the waffle was $3.00, about 2 tbs of real maple syrup was $3.00, waffle didn't come with anything so we ordered a side of bacon that was $5.00 for 2 slices. There are too many other breakfast places to choose from so would probably not choose this place again. We spent over $50 for a breakfast sandwich with fruit and a waffle with bacon. Plus a 4% credit card fee!

Egg, potatoes and popover breakfast (already eaten some). Amazing potatoes.

Good stop for a standard breakfast. Amazing home fries. We got some egg and cheese breakfast sandwiches and pancakes. Everything was good. No complaints. Standard fair. The showstopper was the home fries, and I don't like potatoes. They were just so flavorful.

    Menu

Very expensive for what it is. I understand the area but they are a bit outrageous. A SIDE of corned beef hash was $11. Side of toast was $3 and my PLAIN pancakes was $10 no sides at all. No bacon or sausage.

While on vacation in MA we went here for breakfast and was pleasantly surprised . They serve brunch all day and also have wraps and bowls . It's a cute place kinda old fashion with a huge amazing mural on one of the walls ! Although they have some outdoor seating they don't serve outside , you can order and bring your food out. Everyone was so friendly , attentive and polite! We were quickly seated and placed our orders . I ordered the French toast , it was made with cinnamon bread and served with fresh blueberries . It was very tasty and well prepared ! My husband enjoyed the Eggs Benedict which he said was delicious! This is a perfect restaurant if you are looking for a delicious , quick homemade breakfast with reasonable prices !

Can't believe I haven't been here before. Nice diner with a Chatham touch. One year old Lily loved those pancakes, plus tastes of eggs, grits and watermelon. There were other little kids, all well behaved and loving dining out. We loved our various egg mains. Cheesy grits quite good. Nice service. Popovers were very tasty too. We arrived around 8:30. Place was packed as we left 45 minutes later. We will return!

But, everyone is amazingly friendly, the food is delicious and yes, the view. We've eaten there for every meal of the day and snacks included - if you have kids, the kids menu is basically the same throughout the property for lunch/dinner. Seafood is a standout, but everything is great - from fresh produce (some from the Chatham Bars Inn farm down the road!) to desserts. The lobster tacos may have been my favorite this time - flavorful and full of lobster. For when you don't need an entire crustacean. Drinks are delicious - the Chatham rose is quite good, but there are plenty of wine options on the menu either by the glass or bottle. This year, I also noticed quite a few non-alcoholic wines and beers (more than usual). Service is always friendly and willing to go the extra mile if you have menu questions or tweaks. I'm not sure they can make every change to a menu item possible, but they will try their best. At the beginning of the 'season' in summer, there are often team members learning, but I've never noticed a drop off in service at all. Overall, expensive, but delicious and a spot that you simply can't beat for the atmosphere.

But I have to admit that every time I've looked at the menu for their fine dining restaurant, Stars, I was never impressed so we've only eaten there when we hosted Liz's big birthday bash in 2022. That food was great but we just never tried Stars even after that. This week we are staying at one of the Spa Suites at CBI and last night we dined at Stars. The crab cake starter was the best crab cake either of us has ever had and we've done Baltimore many times. There was no filler, beautifully done fresh crab. Outstanding. I ordered the New York strip which was served with pommes purée and a medley of fresh CBI grown vegetables. That steak was better than any I've had at Moo, Grill 23 or Abe and Louis by a lot. Tender, flavorful and perfectly seasoned. Amazing. Liz had the scallops which she also loved, the one I tasted was perfectly seared and sweet. The Mexican Hot Chocolate cake was spectacular and the ice cream was amazing. The best meal I've had all year by far. The wine list is extensive but be careful there were several bottles costing more than $5000. We had a nice bottle of Barolo for around $150. All in on this place.

The cappuccino was great and I had the avocado "croast" to eat, which is essentially avocado toast on a croissant. It was super unique and delicious! The scrambled egg on top was essentially an omelette with boursin cheese in the middle. I loved the croissant and the mix of flavors and textures was great! I felt like the eggs could use a little more seasoning and I would have like a few more of the crispy shallots on the top. But it was a great dish and I would get it again! I look forward to coming back here and trying dinner next time we are on the Cape!

We started on the bar side, which was extremely busy and we couldn't find a seat for about 30 minutes. Even though they're separate, the bar and restaurant are connected, so you can easily walk between the two.
