Connie's Bakery also offers some delicious sandwiches - who knew. Each is made on the spot which gives you a custom sandwich and the makers are laid back. Service is quick and there is a bakery ambiance - but not much room to consume as this is a tiny place. Overall, a good find.

Bagel with vegan cream cheese. Dry but overall delicious!

Lots of vegan options (though the large upcharges made us skip the vegan egg sandwich)! The chocolate banana bread was good but dry, and the bagels were pretty good (also somewhat dry) despite not being anywhere near NYC. We had ours with vegan cream cheese, which was excellent (!) but not as generous as you'd get in a bagel shop. Particularly around the edges there was not a lot. But overall, my advice is to ask which bakery is fresh and get that, and give the bagels a shot! Staff were nice and answered our questions without getting annoyed :)

I'd give Connie's a 4 star if the staff acted like they gave a jolly rat's azz that you cared enough to patronize their establishment. August-tis or not, when I come in with hurting knees and can smile at YOU while I give YOU .... MY hard earned money...I think I deserve something a bit more than surliness and a face that would turn milk sour. I mean, downright nasty faces. Two days I visited and the same incredibly unfriendly greeting. It seems though, that the woman could crack a smile to her friend whom she waited on while I was there. Hmmm. Hint: Make a beeline for the day old goods first. That way the surly staff will be a bit easier to swallow with your baked goods.

    Breakfast in a box

There's always something at Connie's that will derail your diet. Cookies? Cakes? Breads? Giant cinnamon roll? Yes! To all of it! Want a great quick breakfast sandwich or something that actually has no carbs? You can get that here, too. I had a simple egg and cheese sandwich served on a multigrain roll and my companion had the "breakfast in a box" (no carbs!). Everything was cooked fresh to order, served piping hot and very quickly. Perfect fuel for the insane (multi mile)walk all over the bike trails that followed breakfast. I'll be back for one of those cinnamon rolls, though!

    Great bagels and service?

Bagels are decent (given we are out of the NYC radius) and we liked ours. Service is great :)

The deli counter was closed by then but they had a turkey club in the refrigerator. I was hesitant since it was not fresh, but it was delicious. I also picked up bagel and a muffin. After I ate the muffin, I wished I had bought more. The market has a nice selection of wines as well as upscale food and treats. It also has a seating area inside. Parking is along the side which was a little tight, but still convenient. It's the kind of market you might find in a big city, with it's staff and selection of goods. I spent over a week in Cape Cod and the food here and another deli in Provincetown were the best food I had on the Cape, including some fine dining places. Definitely worth your time to stop by.

I felt like the clerk was not listening to me so I double checked with her a few minutes later to make sure the sandwich would have mustard on it she abruptly told me that no it wouldn't have mustard on it because she didn't have mustard put on it- I asked if it could be done? She was incredibly rude, She went back to the kitchen and asked them to put mustard on it a long while later I received the sandwich in a hot tinfoil wrap. I asked her why the sandwich was hot and she told me that all sandwiches in the shop are toasted unless I asked for it not to be toasted. For context my friend got an Italian and it was correct and NOT toasted.... And again, she was incredibly rude. She eventually offered to redo the sandwich which I was hesitant to agree to, but I did. Another long while later she came back out, basically threw the sandwich at me -still in the tinfoil -when I open the sandwich, I found a Canadian bacon egg sandwich on a hamburger roll with mustard! The bun was wet. I'm not sure what the hell is going on at this place but she and the other person working there were incredibly rude, short and to be honest, completely obnoxious about our whole experience I ended up walking out, told them the sandwiches wrong again and they had no response. I will never go back there, and I will tell everyone about my experience there. I will say the iced coffee was good, but not worth returning for considering all the rest of the stuff that happened.

Usually hibiscus/fruity teas are nice and tart, this one had no flavor and it just tasted like sugar water. Once of the worst iced teas I've ever had in my life. I will say, the baked goods, especially the vegan banana bread smelled amazing. I would come back here try again with the coffee and baked goods, but I won't touch the iced tea with a ten foot pole. I'm sorry, Kohi.
