I had the chicken pesto sandwich on an everything roll. Everything was fresh and high quality. It took about 10-15 minutes to get the sandwich made. There are two picnic tables to sit at that are covered. They have baked goods. I asked for some water in my cup and they said they have no tap water! Connie's Bakery + Cafe was a sweet and delicious way to start off a beautiful day in Provincetown. The interior was bright, welcoming, but small. Although we came for breakfast sandwiches, we were overwhelmed by the menu layout and instead opted for scrambles. Our party got the lox and goat cheese scramble and the brie and Brussel sprout scramble. The lox and goat cheese scramble was an insanely delicious flavor combination, however, I wish there had been more egg. The portion size was small. Still, layering the delectable concoction atop the bread made for a memorable bite. The Brie and brussel sprout scramble went crazy in the paint. The sprouts were well cooked and the brie was a perfect fit for the meal. I wish there would've been more toast, as it was delicious. The serve yourself coffee was a great option, and we appreciated the ability to doctor our own coffee combinations. We were especially grateful for the several varieties of milk available for use. The outdoor seating area, including the picnic tables (hidden in the back) were great for a meal during a sunny morning. Oh, Connie's, I wish I could take you back to New York City with me. I just love this place! This bakery and cafe takeaway joint is just what the doctor ordered--especially after a night of partying! First off, I'm not a 'sweets' guy, but Connie's features plenty of sugary breakfast pastries, cakes, and pies... and all of my friends rave about them! Im here to mostly share my thoughts about the savory dishes! That's what I'm talking about! On this last trip I went to Connie's twice and ordered the same "Scramble" in the form of a wrap. You can order their "Scrambles" as is (like a breakfast bowl kind of) or get any of them on a wrap. My favorite is the Green Eggs & Ham, which features scrambled eggs, ham, grilled tomatoes, pesto, and cheese! It is a melt-in-your-mouth experience! The Coffee drinks at Connie's are also tasty. I'm not sure what roasts they use, but each time I've been very pleased with my coffee. Note that Connie's does have a few picnic tables adjacent to the cafe that you can eat your food at after you order at their counter. They also have a few Adirondack chairs and benches in front of the establishment that you can use if you want to eat immediately and not take away your food. Let me just say, I never write reviews. I actually created this account to leave feed back about my gross expierence. I got the backyard hash. It was pretty tasty until I found a few curly hairs in my meal. Thinking it may have been something from the potatoes I shrugged it off until.... Until I noitced the person who made my meal had two full bushes, one under each arm. She was wearing a tank top and I believe those curly q's came right from the source and onto my plate. My stomach quickly turned sour and I have been unable to eat hash since. Pretty sure that that is a major health code violation. I will not be returning nor will my friends. Cafe' Heaven is a few doors down and will remain the leading contender for breakfast. Do yourself and favor and eat anywhere else. read more

AVOID this place! The barista charged me for two coffees when I had only ordered one. Even when two other patrons agreed that I'd only ordered one coffee, he screamed at me about being wrong. Eventually, after he continued to yell at me and refuse to refund the unordered coffee, I couldn't handle being berated any longer and left without a refund. Lots of vegan options (though the large upcharges made us skip the vegan egg sandwich)! The chocolate banana bread was good but dry, and the bagels were pretty good (also somewhat dry) despite not being anywhere near NYC. We had ours with vegan cream cheese, which was excellent (!) but not as generous as you'd get in a bagel shop. Particularly around the edges there was not a lot. Connie's never disappoints! Today we ordered sandwiches to takeaway and they were delicious -- the roast beef was tender (not too rare) and so tasty on an everything brioche bun. The special, described on the chalkboard as a "Zippy Homemade Egg Salad" was the bomb -- fresh and flavorful. We enjoyed them out on the deck overlooking the water, and had to stop back by the store to thank the proprietors for a fantastic lunch. read more

August-tis or not, when I come in with hurting knees and can smile at YOU while I give YOU .... Love the location and the style of this place. I am however just not impressed with the food as of late. The staff truly is the best thing about this place. Seriousy very professional and kind and appreciative of the tips. I like the vibe very much even on a busy summer afternoon. whats nice is you can get a small salad for $7 - unheard of in Ptown where a salad is no lie $18-20+ on the regular for preprepared. I am not a fan of egg salad and a few times i ordered the cobb salad and asked for to be omit and it was not... When I tried again saying I had a fictional allergy to eggs - then and only then was it honored. Had breakfast here, and it was truly splendid! The cashier was so friendly and helpful and was willing to accommodate any requests I had!! There are tables right outside the space, but you can actually take your food down to the dock (which they recommended) and it is GORGEOUS by the water with the sea breeze and sun! The "egg sandies" are very good as are the chocolate chip cookies. Avoid the cakes. We ordered one in advance thinking we would get a fresh cake; when we went To pick it up a few days later it was super clear that they hadn't backed us a fresh one and just pulled one out of the fridge that had been sitting there for several days. I really want to love Connie's. Been a fan since that amazing lady opened her first shop at the old Clem & Ursies on Shankpainter. I was heartbroken when she sold the business, but Shane really picked up the mantle and ran with it. Sadly, the new owners just can't quite reach that high mark set by the shop's namesake. Delicious Lunch at Connie's Cafe on my last day here in Provincetown, MA. This quaint little bakery is co-owned by Will and Hunter, both of whom were there to greet me and tell me about their specials. The shrimp and grits did not disappoint. The grits were creamy and well seasoned and the Gulf shrimp were perfectly cooked. I've been here twice now and both times the owners and staff have been great. Very helpful staff! I've visited 2 different times while in PTown and both times was helped through my decisions (I'm a horrible decision maker). The coffee is fresh. I had the cold brew and my relative had a hot coffee. No complaints on either. I would recommend stopping in if your looking for good coffee and nice people. Decided to check this place out for breakfast one day on a rainy morning. After perusing the menu, I decided to go with the breakfast box and a apple bomb pastry. The breakfast box (2 eggs, bacon, avocado, and salsa) was pretty lackluster and easily something I could have made better at home. However, the apple bomb pastry was absolutely delicious--perfectly sweet and flaky--and rather large also. My friend got the breakfast burrito and it looked a lot better than my breakfast box--so I'd say stay away from the no frills box and you'll be sitting pretty here, especially with anything from the bakery. In addition, the woman working the front couldn't have been nicer and put a big smile on our faces. Definitely make sure to check this place out for a baked good while you're in town! read more

I live in Ptown and frequent Connie's. I order the same sandwich every time, and it was made incorrectly this time. I asked for light mayo, and mustard. They forgot the mustard and put on a ton of mayo. I called and asked if they could make me a new sandwich and the owner was very rude. He told me that I could take off the mayo and come pick up some mustard. I have an intolerance to mayo so that was why I asked for it light. Aside from this, the sandwich was subpar, and it took them about 10 minutes to make it because the staff was chit-chatting. I was the only person waiting, it wasn't like there was a huge line. Homespun coconut snowball that is an actual carrot cake with cream cheese frosting rolled in coconut flakes is fluffy and moist. Not rich like one would expect of an icing ladened heavy looking dessert. It was actually moist, eggy and more like bread pudding than cake. Really not my style but good. Moist muffin that can double as breakfast is more like it. Feast for the eyes and still friendly on the waist. I'm not too certain about that of course. Don't buy the chocolate peanut butter cookie (also encrusted with coconut flakes and nuts inside). Bland and dry. Sorely wish I had listened to the Bulgarian barista and bought the chocolate peanut butter bar or the key lime pie... or any other of their spectacularly indulgent desserts. Well, maybe I shouldn't judge with my eyes first because there were a lot of worthy sweet shops along the way... i.e. Cookie house and Portuguese bakery. Dam. read more

He even delivered our order to the venue for us! Our guests LOVED the cupcakes! We got three different kinds: double chocolate, coconut and vanilla bean!
