Let me tell you about the amazing experience I had on 12/27/23. I've had this place bookmarked for quite sometime. I decided to stop in and finally try it today. When I walked in I was told by who I believe were the owners that they didn't have power (and power wasn't expected to be back for at least 3 hours), and therefore not all menu items where available. I told them this was my first time here so I wasn't sure what I wanted. There was one customer in front of me. After finding out they weren't able to take cards due to having no power they asked me if I had cash. I unfortunately never carry cash. They told me not to worry about it and allowed me to have my bowl on the house due to being a first time customer and wanting me to experience how good they are. I even offered to pay via Venmo and was turned down. Talk about amazing, kind and thoughtful customer service. For my bowl I decided on the Athens Bowl. It was like a parfait with Greek yogurt, granola, coconut and honey. You were able to add toppings as well. I chose banana, strawberries, blueberries and chocolate chips. It was so delicious! Some of the freshest fruit I've had. Customer service alone is bringing me back. The yummy tasting bowl is a winner as well. I will absolutely be back! Probbaly tomorrow at this point! Brekky continues to up their game with new menu items. I love their creativity! When they added various toasts to the menu, it was a game changer. Because now it's not just a place for yummy treats and smoothies and coffee..it's a lunch spot! If you're pressed for time, call in your order. This place is a local favorite and can get quite busy in the morning and lunch time. It's not a sit down spot. Unless you want to sit at table outside. No indoor tables. It's all to go. We have been to Brekky a handful of times over the years and am pleased with the additions they have made to their menu over that time. Their açai and pitaya bowls have always been a crowd pleaser (my fave is the Dragon Bowl). We are now loving their avocado toast and their salads as well! It would be very helpful to have a list of ingredients on hand for people to access at the store to check for allergens. There are many components to dressings, granola, and the like and having ingredient lists could help customers make informed decisions based on dietary restrictions. My search for a smoothie on a hot day led me to Brekky today. After seeing the menu I called an audible and went with a açaí bowl. It definitely didn't disappoint. Very fun and vibrant atmosphere inside with good vibes all around. No indoor dining but there were some table outside to sit at. Very fair pricing and friendly staff. -Brekky Bowl 4/5: Very generous serving of fruit and a good mix of toppings. Not the best açaí Bowl I've had but definitely very good. I felt the actual açaí part was lacking a bit of flavor. Overall, really happy I came here. I'll definitely return, but next time I'll be sure to look at the sizes before ordering. The large size was enough for a family of 5! It was the same size as a large wonton soup container. Daughter loved their açaí bowls. We went three days in a row while camping at nearby Wildwood. We informed them of her multiple allergies and they cut all the fruit for her açaí bowl fresh to avoid cross contamination. We had no issues with her reacting to food at all. After seeing this named as one of the best places for an acai bowl in the 'Long Island food and drink' group on Facebook we decided to take a drive out to check it out. There is a parking lot across the street but it was packed and we drove around for ten minutes before someone else pulled out and we were able to take their spot - we weren't sure if street parking was allowed so we wanted to stay in the lot. There were outdoor tables at Brekky, some with umbrellas for shade. There are no tables to sit inside though. The menu is on the wall and they have various options of bowls and smoothies, as well as some muffins, coffees, and toasts. The small acai bowls seemed to be a generous size so we got those, I got a brekky bowl (acai, granola, coconut, honey, strawberries, bananas and blueberries) and added some peanut butter in. My husband made a custom bowl. Our consensus was that the reviews we heard were right; it was a pretty good acai bowl! The acai was cold but not frozen or frost bitten like you get at some places. The honey was sweet and all the fruits and granola tasted so fresh. We were a big fan of how they layered the peanut butter under the granola, with most places when we ordered peanut butter with our bowls we normally end up with a small dollop off to the side but Brekky layering it was a pleasant surprise. Overall, it WAS a really good acai bowl and we wouldn't hesitate to drop in there again and try some of their other options! read more

I absolutely love this place, BUT I started noticing that the owner seems to have prematurely stopped wearing a mask. Not sure if he thinks because maybe he's been vaccinated that he doesn't need to, but he can still be a carrier, and his breathing over the top of my food as he makes it doesn't sit well with me. Me and my husband went in and ordered smoothies. He asked to use the bathroom and was told it was "Out of order". When the other worker handed me my smoothie I asked where we could go to use a bathroom. He said he wasn't sure but they weren't allowed to let customers use the bathroom. First breakfast ride of 2020! I read a nice article about Brekky's in Wading River so I decided to make it my breakfast destination. I ordered an espresso doppio which was excellent! There were some nice looking baked goods: Me: "What are these?" Girl at the counter: (I don't refer to women as girls but she looked barely high school age) "They're like scones with raisins." "Do have any that are actually raisin scones and not just "like" raisin scones?" Quizzical look! "I'll have a scone with some butter." " We don't have butter." Oh boy! "May I have a plate?" "We don't have plates. You can use this." (Holds up a drink lid.) " I'll use the bag, thanks." I sat at a dirty table and had my scone which was excellent and my espresso doppio. With three girls working behind the counter I thought one of them might have cleaned the tables. I took a leap of faith: "Do you have WiFi?" Three girls look at one another: " We do but the boss doesn't tell us the password." Okie dokie artichokie! I thought. I tossed my cup onto the overflowing trash can and rode my bike home. My sisters and mom are huge fans of this place and go to get the açaí bowls once a week. I have been here a few times now and overall I think it's pretty good. Here are my thoughts on what I have had: Sail away cold brew- Excellent cold brew coffee. Would recommend Hot drip coffee- Terrible. Have gotten it three times now and it has tasted burnt every time. Do not order hot coffee here. Açaí berry bowl: Extremely tasty. I get them with almond butter added which defiantly adds a great nutty taste to the fruit. My only qualm would be that sometimes the bananas are not ripe. Besides that these bowls are fantastic. Quinoa bowls: I enjoyed it very much. My sisters on the other hand were not fans. Such a cute little place. A gem in Wading River. I really like the decor. My cold brew was delicious as was my morning glory muffin. My husband enjoyed his acai bowl.
