My experience here was pleasant. I would definitely return. The food was delicious. The cinnamon swirl pancakes had me sold. The pancakes were warm fluffy and soft. The waiter was pleasant and tended to us accordingly. The restaurant had a nice decor.

Great place for brunch. Lots of windows with natural sunlight and cute decor. Solid food and quick service. I recommend making a reservation if you plan on coming. I recommend the strawberry crepe!!

I was craving some healthy, hearty breakfast before my work, so I ordered from Brownstones using one of the delivery apps. I was so happy to see such heart-felt packaging of the food (like, at mom-level, man) and the food was delicious! Will definitely order again, and I want to drop by too! The atmosphere in the photos look bomb!

From the hostesses all the way until we walked out was very pleasant. No wait on a Monday so we sat right down. Nicky our server was amazing. Polite and attentive. The chef that made my omelet made it as it were there own. Perfect. Our food was all correct and tasty. They offer outdoor tables if you choose. The tables are on grass and clean. Well done

I really love this place.... The food is always done just rights, staff is very attentive and efficient. The mocha latte is the most amazing I've ever had with its fresh whipped cream and a drizzle of chocolate on top at only $5.00 they are a steal. No matter what you order you will definitely not be disappointed.

I arrived early on a weekday morning on a very cold winter day. I was promptly seated. The waiter arrived promptly with a menu and returned equally as promptly with my delicious and hot decaffeinated coffee. Since I knew that I wanted the pancakes with Vermont maple syrup, I gave him my order. Within a few minutes my pancakes arrived along with three delicious looking slices of bacon. All in all, the experience was lovely. The decor was pleasant and so was the food. The Takeaway 1. Ample parking 2. Fine service 3. Price to portion is fine 4. $$$ - $13.75 for pancakes and bacon is high $3.00 additional for three tablespoons of "Vermont Maple Syrup" is a tad over the top. 5. No oatmeal 6. Take a star away for price and another for no oatmeal. If you like more exotic breakfast dishes, then I suggest a visit. If like me, your tastes lean toward simple fair, I recommend eating elsewhere.

Had a delish breakfast! I've been to the other locations and was in the area to try this location. Yummy as always! To start I had the seasonal maple latte and my boyfriend had a mocha. Very good! For our breakfast my boyfriend chose the Bananas Foster Pancakes with a side of corned beef hash and I went with Cinnamon Raisin Stuffed French Toast with a side of bacon. We both thoroughly enjoyed our breakfast! Service by Bryan was exceptional! He was attentive and very friendly. 5 stars all the way!

One of my favorite brunch places in the Stony Brook area. Love their potatoes and half order of French toast. Seems like they changed their decor--if I remember correctly, it used to have old fashioned hats, and now the theme seems more time-travel related, but still has the old time feel. They have a rotation of special coffees which is always fun.

Why it took me so long to come here is beyond me. We were able to get on their waitlist and scored a table pretty quickly. The place is bustling and has a nice vibe. You can have breakfast or brunch. I think I may have had the best home fires I've ever eaten at this establishment.

Ask the Community - Brownstones Coffee Centereach

Can the Pagoccinos be made with almond milk?

Yes they can. The non dairy milks are almond and oat milk, and come without whipped cream unless specified!

    Do they take reservations?

Last I was there they did not - but that might have changed with COVID.

Toast at Station Yards in Ronkonkoma is worth a visit if looking for creative breakfast…read more The atmosphere was clean, inviting, and a comfortable place to sit down. Service was good overall--friendly and attentive. We ordered the carrot cake French toast, and it was honestly delicious. It leaned more toward dessert than breakfast--very rich, sweet, and a huge portion. Definitely something you could share, because finishing it solo is no small task. Also tried the bangers omelette, which was a bit of a mixed experience. The omelette itself was excellent--plenty of sausage, and the caramelized onions with Irish cheddar were a great combination. Really flavorful and well done. Came with homemade rye, awesome. That said, I wasn't happy with the home fries. I had asked for them to be well done, but they came out undercooked anyway. I did mention it to the server but nothing came of it, which was a little disappointing. The home fries also included a mix of what looked like russet and sweet potatoes--I'm not a fan of sweet potatoes at all! I wish that had been noted on the menu. On a positive note, the fresh-squeezed strawberry lemon mimosa carafe was very good, and at $28 it felt like a fair price. Overall, a solid spot with some standout items, but a few small misses from my experience. I'd still come back, just with a better idea of what's on the menu.

They don't take reservations. After about 10 minutes my friend and I plus 3 teens (my kids and a friend) were starving and Schnitzels was loud and crowded. We headed a few doors down to Sweet Mama's. Seated immediately. My friend and I shared the steak with penne dinner special and a Cobb salad with grilled chicken. My daughter ordered penne with butter off the kids menu. My son got a turkey burger and his friend got a grilled chicken sandwich on a hero instead of a wrap. Now the good -- portions were huge! My son could barely fit his burger in his mouth and it also had a half avocado on it. They didn't skimp. Steak with penne was delicious and so was the Cobb salad. We all shared off each other's plates because everything looked so amazing. Now the bad. My daughter's pasta was elbows, not penne as indicated on the menu. Not a catastrophe but she was looking forward to penne. Then - my son's friend put some ketchup on his plate for his fries. It was ,.. not red but brown. The bottle had an 8/25 expiration. We are in April 2026. We told the server and she said it's because it's the "simply ketchup" with no artificial dyes. She offered him ketchup packets "with fake dyes" but by that point he lost his appetite for fries. We grabbed ketchup from another table, same brand, Heinz Simply. You can see the difference in color. We showed the server and she acted annoyed. I told her we didn't want anyone getting sick on that ketchup and pointed out the expiration date. She rolled her eyes and said "oh I'll just throw it away." She kind of had an attitude and didn't even apologize. So that's why 4 stars. We'd go back but request not to have that server. The food is fantastic but watch your ketchup! If someone put it on a burger it would have been ruined.

Not terrible, but also not memorable…read more Sweet Mama's is a hybrid concept tucked away in the adorable Stony Brook Village. On one end, ice cream. In the middle, restaurant, and towards the back, a bar. Surprisingly at 11am, for a table of four, we waited about 10 mins for a table. We ordered a variety of things, from soup, to bennys and a mimosa flight. The mimosa flight was very cute but mine ended up tasting just like white wine. The real disappointment imo was the Belgian Waffle. Now I know, part of this is my fault, for expecting more than what the description laid out. But for $12 I got one crispy and tender waffle with powdered sugar and that was it. No side of fruit, no home fries, nothing. Everyone else enjoyed their food, which I was happy about! And service was wonderful. But for $12 for one waffle, this place may be a biiiiiiit overpriced for my liking.
