Brenda is a very nice person. She charge me $140 for the first visit and I needed to be put on disability because I've been in many car wrecks and I am in a lot of pain. This is where the problem started. She filed on my behalf, the EDD disability paperwork, and it went right down the drain there was a problem after problem I had to go down to the EDD office myself, and they informed me that the data it was not properly submitted by her office. I called her and then she had informed me that it was their issue and not hers and that she has had a lot of problems with that department. But she wanted to know if I wanted to come and have another visit at her chiropractic center and spend another $140 to keep myself in the disability category that she never was able to achieve for me in the first place. Dr. Brenda Malka and her staff are the greatest! I have been going to her for 5 years, and although I don't live in the area, I am willing to drive for 30 minutes just for her care and treatment. Dr. Malka is very thorough and patient, and answers all questions and concerns. She calls her patients back promptly, and even answers the front desk phone sometimes (which says a whole lot about a doctor!). Her massage therapists are great, and the receptionist is very nice and accomodating. They have good appointment times, ranging from 10am to 7pm on the weekdays, and even Saturday appointments! They always keep their clients in mind for massage openings, and if they don't see you for a while, guess what? They call to see how you're doing! It's such a friendly environment, and Dr. Malka and her staff truly care for their patients. The parking is so convenient. The location is close to the freeway (on Ventura and Genesta, right off Balboa). I would suggest Dr. Malka and her services to anyone looking for a good, caring, and skilled chiropractor. Two three years ago, I had severe back, neck and shoulder problems. I was suffering from migraines and sinus infections. I was initially hesitant to see a chiropractor for two reasons. One reason was the cracking/adjustment. The other was cost as most chiropractors DON'T take insurance and those who do, their copay is over $100 a treatment - that's your copay with insurance. The copay with insurance is the lowest you'd ever pay a chiropractor, so cost isn't a reason to not to be treated by her or by her masseuses. Now, my back, neck and shoulder pains are minimal on a bad day. I can always get an appointment. If I'm having trouble sleeping, her treatments will help me get back on a great sleep cycle. My migraines and sinus infections are far and few. I also had the beginning of carpal tunnel, or 'mouse hand'. After her treatment and suggested stretches I DON'T suffer from 'mouse hand' anymore as long as I follow her suggestions. She treats me like a person with loving hands and that's very important. Her masseuses are just a personable and caring as she. I HIGHLY recommend seeing Dr. Malka if you need a good chiropractor who will treat you lovingly and rightly. read more

After assessing what my issues were Dr Malka got right to relieving the problem area with a combination massage, acupuncture and chiropractic. I left her moving and feeling great. Highly recommended. I found Dr. Malka through a groupon, but ended up getting more treatments with her through my insurance. I came in because my lower back was hurting, and I was excited to find someone who does myofacial release, chiropractor, and acupuncture. She was a genuine and kind practitioner, and I think it's really efficient to go to someone who practices all three modalities. I feel like you really need both a combo of myofacial release and chiropractor work together in order to fix things in your body, so it was a really great find to see that she does both. She has been doing this for a long time, so I really trusted what she was doing and my back doesn't hurt anymore. She and her assistant are very sweet and compassionate, so if you're thinking of going somewhere, I would definitely recommend this office. OH, if you come here, please doublecheck their address. The massage was great lorena fixed up my back. I been going for two weeks and I have been feeling more energetic, my back no longer hurts and I have been feeling more relaxed and positive. Dr Malka is awesome! I went to her for neck spasms and lower back pain! I would also get full body massages there too which are AMAZING!! Dr. Malka was always professional and very nice! After being a patient off and on for several years, and referring business to her, she rudely refused to treat me unless I paid a petty $7.00 balance, that she added after I had paid for the last visit. She failed to bill my insurance company and never billed me either for the balance. More interested in arguing and insulting me than healing me when I was in pain. Bad energy for a Chiropractor! Few hours before my appointment I get a text from the front desk confirming my insurance cleared and she's in my network, BUT that I would have to pay FULL initial visit of $120 then $75 for any follow ups. Acupuncture / Chiro - Dr. Malka is fantastic. I've had severe trigger points (knotted muscles) for years. Her treatment is the first that's made a breakthrough in my healing. After treatment, you feel like your trigger points have been dissolved; you feel amazing after. I'm finally getting my range of motion back. I feel great going their because of the positive energy and care Dr. Malka and her team bring to their patients. Gotta give Lindy a shout out too. She's awesome! Dr. Malka Rocks! A few weeks ago I woke up and my right hand would not move at all. I talked to a co-worker who immediately, without hesitation, reminded me about Dr. Malka whose wonderful staff I met at the Premier Radio tax relief day event. I read the positive reviews on this website as well as others and decided to try it out. Upon arrival I immediately felt welcomed, and taken care of. I worried that I had had a stroke, or MS, or something else equally devastating. She helped calm me down, and helped me understand what was going on with my body and that it was only whiplash and a severely pinched bundle of nerves. Following our first session I immediately saw results. She is a miracle worker! Two and half weeks later, my hand is back to almost 100% functionality. Between her therapy, and the deep tissue massages she recommended I feel like my life is quickly getting back to normal. I will continue to go to her even after my hand is back to its normal self, because I understand the overall healing benefits to being treated by someone who knows what they are doing. I cannot recommend her enough! Also, I suffered from lower back pain (herniated disc) for more than two years. Gained nice 30lbs in that period as I could not/ not permitted to go to the gym. I tried physical therepy, exercises,...nothing helped. One of the wisest decisions I may have ever made. Four months of treatment...and my back feels as good as it did 2 years ago. I can now do my crunches, push ups and all sorts of simple exercises. Lost 20lbs already..and feeling very good...! Dr. Malka is very friendly and down to earth.
