We googled many photographers and found photos we liked but many were already booked or out of our price range. Then we thought to book a photographer who was familiar with our ceremony and reception site (the Natural History Museum) since it was a such a challenging space to work as far as photography goes. This ended up working out amazingly well for us. We found Jennifer, through the museum's blog, along with a few other photographer's, but we thought Jennifer's style matched ours best. Luckily, Jennifer had not booked our wedding date yet and I went to meet with her right away. We had a bunch of sample albums for me to flip through and showed me all her pricing packages. Considering we got SO much value from her standard package, we were set and put in a deposit right away. On the day of the wedding, she was prompt and got to work immediately, taking photos of my gown and shows before I got in them. Then she had some really great ideas for some all girl photos with my bridesmaids before we all drove over to the venue. Once at the venue, she coordinated our "first look" photos between my husband and I perfectly He was so surprised to see my in my gown and her photos captured the moment perfectly. She was also able to cover all the different shots I wanted: rose garden, outside the historic museum steps, dinosaurs, family shots, the works! Jennifer and her assistant took over 1300 images after all was said and done. After the wedding, she uploaded all the photos to pictage very quickly and I spent a month selecting 200 images for my album. I also got $200 worth of credit on pictage as well which was much appreciated. The album is gorgeous and I couldn't be happier with the way everything came out.

They gave good directions on how we would interact with each other without giving us step by step instructions. Their directions allowed us to act natural but also be conscious that we were taking photos but not give directions where our gestures or body language would feel awkward or unnatural and awkward. We thought that we'd be uncomfortable or awkward in front of a camera but Tae absolutely made the shoot so natural and fun. It was hard to imagine that we'd have a better experience than we already did. But fast forward to our wedding day and Kary and Karla just did the most amazing job and brought an energy and purpose that really made our day come together and flow perfectly. Both ladies hustled the entire day, directing us and coming up with unique shots all the while keeping us on schedule. Karla would be running around checking on us, grabbing missing props like my bouquet while Kary would be shooting us all in sync with our videographer so that no shot was missed (and the Karla would also start snapping pictures). Karla and Kary worked super hard in capturing candid moments as we went around socializing with guests and dancing in the wedding but they had us hit every epic posed shot that is possible. We didn't waste a single second of our wedding day. We just got a sneak peek of our photos and my husband and I were absolutely floored by the final results (and we're hard to please). We were looking for a photographer for a family photo session. I got some quotes from local family…read morephotographers and was about to go with one of them when I randomly remembered Greycard who did our wedding photos. I reached out to them and their pricing was very reasonable. They were cheaper than most of the other photographers and offered access to all of our digital photos. A lot of the other companies wanted to charge more money for a shorter session and were only going to give us access to about 20 edited photos. We got our edited photos the next day and are so pleased with how they came out. It's always a gamble when you have a baby and a toddler, but John got some really beautiful shots. Thank you!

The pictures he took of other peoople were so beautiful so I decided to hire him for our engagement session in SoCal. We are originally from Northern California, but we wanted to take photos in Socal because that was a place nearest and dearest to our hearts when we were dating. When it came to contacting Henry, he was very prompt and reliable. He was quick to respond and very kind in everything he wrote. He was very accommodating and friendly on the phone. I loved how he took charge and showed us how to model for these photos. He was very easy to talk to and a joy to work with. After it was over, he was also so nice to not charge us overtime because our session ran a little over time. The biggest surprise I got was that he had worked on the photos the same night and had about ten photos up and ready for us to see on his blog. I was amazed by the quick turnaround. When I saw the pictures, I was so happy and overwhelmed by how lovely they were. I was so impressed by his work that I immediately booked him for our wedding in Aug. 2012 after we set a date. He was willing to customize the package and work with our budget. I could have picked a photographer from Northern California, but I was willing to shell out some extra money just to have him there for our wedding.
