There was not a customer in sight and less than 20 bagels in a small glass display case at the counter. I doubt they're "baked on premises" and echo Franco C review comment, "find it hard to believe that any bagel has been baked there in a long, long time." I saw a grill and a large carton of eggs next to it so I decided to take a chance and ordered 2 eggs over easy with bacon on a plate. The woman said $4 and I agreed. When I started to take my money out of my wallet the man said either $4 or $6! I honestly don't remember, but the point is that it was higher than what the woman just told me and we agreed to! She hadn't started to cook the eggs yet so I told them both "forget it" and I walked out. Look ... I understand that English isn't their native language, but I expect to be able to communicate with store owners and their help at some basic level. As a consumer we have alternatives!

I ordered the Coast to Coast, which was delicious with a generous serving of roast beef and perfect ratio of meat to cole slaw and Russian dressing. While I will definitely visit again, I likely won't become a regular due to high prices. The Coast to Coast cost $15.99, climbing to $17.99 with tax and credit card fee. While the sandwich was delicious and of good size, I don't feel it was large enough to warrant this price (which other deli's can rightfully charge). A picture of the menu on Google from 5 years ago shows the same sandwich to be $7.99+tax. Expenses are increasing for everyone, but I feel the current price is no longer a good value for the money and I'll limit visits to special treats rather than a frequent occurrence.
