In my opinion this place has great bagels, they are soft and fluffy with great taste. They offer a wide variety of spreads and they offer many breakfast sandwiches. And if you are looking for lunch they can take care of that as well. The staff is friendly and the place is clean. read more

When people say good help is hard to find, I feel like they have either owned a small business, or visited Goodys Bagels & Spreads. Let me be clear: the food here is very good. Better than most bagel places on Long Island, and by a substantial margin. But the degree of inefficiency behind the counter is hard to comprehend and tolerate. I love this itty bitty place. This deli is remarkably clean and organized. Even though they have a lot of product that could easily be cluttered and haphazardly thrown about the area, these guys have gone out of their way to make sure everything is easy to find, including the menu and the options available. The staff is all very attentive. They're crazy BUSY because they're in such high demand, but they're really mindful of customers who go in and out so that no one is forgotten or lost in the crowd. I've always had a good experience coming in. There are places to sit down and eat, but they're a bit squished because the interior of this deli is very small - I wasn't kidding when I said that it's itty bitty. So I wouldn't recommend dining in, but it's still worth coming in and snagging something to go. The bagels are always my go to. They're big, soft, and they have just the right amount of flavor. There's quite the variety without providing an overwhelming amount of options. I definitely recommend the whole grain bagels, either with or without sesame seeds! Love having a bagel shop within walking distance to the house. They have every kind of flagel imaginable which is awesome. I opted for the sesame whole wheat flagel with scallion cream cheese. Yesterday, I tried Goodys Bagels for the first time! I can't believe I haven't tried this place and I've been living in Glen Cove for the last year and a half. They had so many different types of bagels like colorful ones, whole wheat everything, flagels, and so much more. There is definitely something for everyone here! They also make lunch sandwiches as well as breakfast food! They have so many options for spreads as well. We got a Sausage Egg and Cheese on a whole wheat everything bagel, a plain bagel with vegetable cream cheese, a plain bagel with lox cream cheese, and a chicken Caesar wrap. The cheese pull on the SEC was perfection. That chicken Caesar wrap was sooo good. I wasn't expecting it to be that good from a bagel place! Thank you Peter for helping us choose some items. Great deal on good bagels. If you buy a dozen, you actually get 15 bagels. These bagels are not the soft kind. They are dense and tend to get a little hard the next day. I like to freeze these at the end of the day when I buy them in the morning. Then I let it defrost for a bit and put it in the toaster over and it's like getting a fresh bagel. Love this place!! I have been a regular customer for about a year and a half. This place is always busy and I consider that a good sign. The bagels are great, and they have gluten free and "diet" options as well as about every flavor of bagel and schmear. The nova lox is FABULOUS and my favorite is the nova lox with avocado! Find ANY other bagel place to go to. Their bagels are dry and flavorless. Eggs and other items aren't terrible but good luck getting what you ordered! Pay for cheese and they forget the cheese. I ordered a BEC from the OWNER and watched him proceed to do everything except make the item. I sat for 10-15 min waiting until I finally got the courage to inquire about my order. Completely did not make the order whatsoever. I really try not to go to this bagel shop but whenever I am in a pinch, I can always count on Goody's to provide bad service and mediocre breakfast. read more

Bagels were okay, nothing special. Our bagel sandwich orders kept getting mixed up and we kept getting the wrong order.

After an incident that took place 2 days ago i called the owner of goodys to make him aware that one of the employees served my daughter an ice coffee with almond milk after letting her know numerous times she was allergic and to use oat milk. My daughter had an allergic but thank god was ok. The owners response was "you don't know what it's like to run a business these days". I said that's your answer how about i am sorry and i will review allergy safety with my staff. I never got an apology and will never shop in his store again. read more

Ordered sesame bagel on door dash and got a plain bagel. Called to ask that they send the correct order. On hold for 5 minutes and Jose Hernandez came on the phone and asked me, "What are you going to do." What am I going to do to correct their error?? I would never order from here again.
