Not just physically, but in my strength, mobility, and flexibility too. Each phase of training has been intentional, and she has helped me get closer to my ideal physique step by step. If you are looking for a personal trainer who truly knows what they are doing and genuinely cares about your progress, I can not recommend Siena enough!! She is the best! This is also my favorite location in SoCal! Not the largest but it's nicely keep, super friendly staff all around and a community of people that workout here!

Here we observe machines at least three generations behind what's running at other Equinox clubs. Remarkably well preserved. Please do not touch. Exhibit B -- The Palette. Yellowed satin white with pale blue painted accents. The palette follows conventions of the historical period; artisans remain unidentified. Reads Bay Club, not Equinox. Exhibit C -- Storage. This is how early humans secured their belongings: you brought a lock from home. Those who arrived without one -- as I did -- left the door open and trusted in God. Other Equinox locations have at least advanced to the rotating dial. Fifteen years ago my hometown gym opened lockers with a fingertip. Three years ago, with a face. Now, seriously -- none of this is hard to fix, and all of it is below the standard the brand charges for: 1. Cardio. A refresh is one request to headquarters away. Ask. 2. Paint. Reset to a clean pure white. Swap the blue accent for acoustic wood slat panels -- vertical battens on a black backing. Low cost, immediate lift, and it's the current Equinox language. 3. Lockers. Change the locks. Bring-your-own-padlock isn't acceptable at this price point. Keypad or RFID at minimum. Credit where it's due: the staff were friendly and respectful throughout, and I was here only as a visitor. But as it stands, this isn't a club I'd want as my home gym. Hopefully they've made some changes by the next time I'm in the area.

The manager and staff run the facility with professionalism, consistency, and genuine care for members. The gym is extremely clean -- there are always three staff members on the floor actively sanitizing machines, wiping surfaces, and keeping the bathrooms and showers spotless. My wife and I were members at Equinox for several years, paying nearly $400 a month, and the difference is night and day. At Equinox, the staff were often rude, and the machines and locker rooms were cleaned only every few days. Here, cleanliness is continuous and visible. Of course, like any gym, there are members of all ages and backgrounds, and not everyone is equally neat -- especially in the locker rooms. But the staff here address issues immediately. They take pride in maintaining a clean, safe, and comfortable environment. For the level of service we receive, the membership price is extremely reasonable. I also use the spa regularly and have been very happy with it, even though some members occasionally ignore posted rules. The staff still handle these situations professionally. My wife and I come five times a week, and we truly enjoy it. I highly recommend this gym and want to thank the manager, staff, and floor team for keeping this place clean, welcoming, and enjoyable.

I have been a Fitness 19 member and had previously used the Rolling Hills Estates location around…read moreten times without a problem. Then on June 10, 2026, I walked in and suddenly found out employees were apparently "supposed to stop" me. Stop me from what? Apparently entering the gym I had been using. I asked why I wasn't being allowed inside. Getting a straightforward explanation turned out to be a much harder workout than anything I planned on doing at the gym that day. Instead of someone calmly explaining what was going on, the situation escalated. A manager and a person identified to me as the owner became involved, and I was eventually ordered to leave. The interaction with the person identified as the owner became confrontational enough that I was concerned it might become physical. The strangest part was being questioned about why I was "smiling" or appeared to be laughing. Here's the problem: I have facial paralysis. I also have a documented traumatic brain injury and cognitive disability, and I explained that I have disabilities. My facial expressions do not always communicate what someone might assume they communicate. So imagine going to the gym and discovering that apparently your face needs to pass an attitude test before the rest of your body gets to exercise. I wasn't there to cause trouble. I was there to work out. If there was some legitimate restriction on my membership, somebody could have simply told me what it was. Instead, I was told employees were "supposed to stop" me without receiving a meaningful explanation for why. That is what bothered me most. I felt singled out, humiliated, and treated differently. Once I disclosed my disabilities, I expected the situation to become calmer and more understanding--not to have someone continue interpreting my facial expression as though it proved I was being disrespectful. People with facial paralysis, neurological disabilities, brain injuries, autism, hearing impairments, and other disabilities don't necessarily communicate or display emotions in ways strangers expect. A facial expression isn't permission to assume someone's intentions. Gyms should be places where people with disabilities feel comfortable trying to improve their health, not places where they have to explain why their face looks a certain way. If Fitness 19 believed there was a legitimate reason I could not use this location, I would have listened to an explanation. What I object to is being stopped, given no meaningful explanation, having my facial expression questioned despite explaining my disability, and having the interaction escalate to the point that I was concerned about a physical confrontation. I left without getting the workout I came for, but apparently I did get an unexpected exercise in patience. Based on my experience, I felt that I was treated unfairly because of manifestations of my disabilities. Fitness 19 should seriously review how this location handles members with neurological, cognitive, communication, and facial disabilities. And for future reference: sometimes a smile is a smile, sometimes it's facial paralysis, and neither one should get somebody kicked out of a gym.

We drove over 20 minutes to work out and later discovered the 5 day pass is reserved for local residents only. We were given the option to either leave or pay a fee to upgrade my pass despite not knowing whether or not he enjoyed his experience. Samuel mentioned "it's policy." I was honestly expecting some sort of understanding with an allowance of attending this one time (as we were already dressed and ready for the gym) and an explanation for the passes' future use. Customer service is not what it used to be. As someone who holds a pass where I can attend any and all 24 hour fitnesses, I genuinely did not think this would be an issue. I don't even attend my local 24hr fitness for several reasons. If I was forced to use a 5 day pass at my local 24hr fitness, I'd be miserable and never step foot in another 24 hr fitness. This "rule" is a bit contradictory and damaging to 24hr fitness's reputation. I'm very disappointed because this was my friend's first time attending a 24hr fitness and my interest in renewing my pass for the following year has significantly decreased. We did end up leaving.

They offer ready-made meals, every kind of protein drink that you can come up with along with waters a place to sit and rest so you really can't go wrong with this gym. I purchased guest passes so I could bring my son to experience the gym. Instead of being welcoming or professional, the employee openly expressed that he did not like my son and stated that he would refuse to sell me guest passes in the future. I found this behavior completely inappropriate and unprofessional. Guest passes are offered by the gym as a service to members, and personal opinions about a member's family should never influence whether that service is provided. The employee's comments made both my son and me feel uncomfortable and unwelcome. I expect staff to treat all members and guests with respect, regardless of personal feelings. Management should address this issue and ensure employees maintain a professional attitude when interacting with customers.

There's not enough quotations in the world to describe how almost oddly shaped this place is as well, like a labyrinth, resembling that of the painting "Relativity" from M C Escher's work.... Hmmm. I don't like to have to be a maze runner to go to each location aesthetically but it's OK in my opinion, probably due to the lack of space given so I'll give it an ok feeling. This is the only one I know in south bay that has BOXING gym which is cool, but its in the dungeon underneath the gym, so enjoy it alone I guess? no ones ever in there but I bought some gloves so I'll punch a few. The only two PROS to this place compared to El Segundo is the outdoor gym is nice if you like a bit of fresh air instead of the luxury indoor interior. Second Jacuzzi is Gender Fluid, so ANYONE MAN WOMAN ALIEN ENTITY, may join in... And I've see one or two people I'd like to say Hi too if you know what I mean.. Hehehee..
