I recently visited Dr. Miller's office for an appointment and I was initially greeted by a very…read morerude person at the front desk that made me feel bad for not filling out the pre-visit paperwork. Then met with Dr. Miller and he was lovely and very thorough in answering all of my questions however, halfway through our discussion, there was a knock on the door and the assistant taking notes for the appointment left the room. I had a conversation with Dr. Miller and the assistant came back and stood in between us, clearly wanting us to end the appointment. We finished our conversation and he left the room where I was then told by the assistant he never gives patients that much attention, it should've been $150 appointment, and the office was now 20 minutes behind schedule with all of their appointments because of me. I was in so much shock that someone was that rude to me for my first dermatology appointment ever and don't feel comfortable going back to this office. Dr. Miller is wonderful but the rest of the staff made me feel so uncomfortable and unwelcome.

Oh, Dr. Song. I really don't have anything against her as a person. She came along at a really…read morebad time in my life. Actually, life was wonderful when we met, but it quickly went down hill. I went to Dr. Song for dizziness and vertigo last summer. After waiting almost 3 weeks to see her, I was a little thrown off when she spent 5 minutes with me by using a flashlight to look at my eyes. She asked me a couple of questions then told me the reason for my dizziness and vertigo was from my sodium intake. What? I was immediately pissed off and upset, and I let Dr. Song know. She didn't ask me anything about what I eat. If she had, she'd know that I rarely eat processed foods, and I actually look at labels of food almost obsessively. She kept saying, "I can't imagine what you're going through". She referred me to get an MRI, "just in case", but told me to lower my sodium. 10 minutes later, I was on my way out of an appointment I had waited 3 weeks for. I wanted an answer to why I was dizzy and had vertigo. I am otherwise healthy, so assumed my symptoms were due to an inner ear issue. I went to the MRI, but didn't expect what was about to come. They told me I would hear from Dr. Song in a week, unless they had found something. Dr. Song called me the next morning. She said, "yah, um, you have a brain tumor". WTF? And again, "I can't imagine what you're going through" with the same sincerity as before. None. I'll never forget that conversation as long as I live. Nobody wants that call, and I won't bore you with the details other than to say that I am recovering from the serious and painful ordeal of brain surgery, but Dr. Song's bedside manner was absolutely awful at the worst time in my life. I would dissuade anyone from seeing her. I had actually written a letter to the medical director of the clinic conveying my experience, but threw it away when I found out about my brain tumor. I had other things to worry about.

I got ultrasound and MRI to ensure it could be visualized. After what was a definitely more complex procedure with a lot of scraping I was majorly swollen for months. Now almost 5 months later I visited Dr M to indicate I was not too happy with the scar and continued swelling which has come down from the golf ball size it was to where it is now. I was told that I should speak to a psychiatrist since I am clearly fussing over nothing and maybe I just have psychological problems because nothing is visible and it has healed really well. Then the next visit a new doctor added more time. At this visit she tried to add another month and when I stated I was concerned she said it had only been three months and four would be okay. I corrected her that it had been six and she was surprised and did not.have that in her notes. At another appointment when my daughter explained her symptoms she explained a rare serious disease that didn't match most of my daughters symptoms and then said, "let's really hope it's not that!". This was before she even examined the skin to have any idea what we were dealing with. My daughter was so scared for no reason.

When I called for an appointment I was told it would be several weeks for the next opening. After explaining the severity of my condition they got me in the next day at 9am. Upon arriving at 8:45, I was checked in by very nice, helpful people and before I was done with the check in they were waiting to take me back to the exam room. The exam was through and professional and a treatment plan was created. I had to call later in the day to clarify my prescription and they answered the phone and answered my question. The whole office was upbeat, professional, their follow up was great and if it hadn't been for my medical condition, it was a joy to be there.
