was in the area and came here for brunch. let me start off by saying parking is horrendous here. the parking lot is too small for hoe busy this place is. i saw numerous people park across the street and walk over, even though there's signage everywhere stating it's not allowed. i checked in and they jotted my name on the list. quoted us 45 minutes which was pretty spot on. my table of two were seated promptly but no one came to our table for a while after that. some random person ask us if we wanted to order drinks but made sure to tell us he is not our server. i decided on a diet coke and my friend got an iced coffee. the coke tasted off like it wasn't truly a coca-cola product ... but they were sure to tell me it was numerous times. we took our order and we waited for a long time. like really long. there were two other tables near us and they too waited. at this point it is now 1pm and everyone im assuming is hungry. after i swear to you THIRTY MINUTES, our food arrived. our trio pancake seemed like it had been sitting there for quite some time. all the sauces were sloshed to the side and didn't really look as nice as other tables. kind of disappointing to say the least. everything else we ordered was just meh. not great but not bad. i don't know if im just over the breakfast club or if i just came on an off day. it has to be good right? there's always a line out the door. maybe just maybe i should just stick to the one in midtown. oh and i have to add, after they dropped off our food, we had no customer service whatsoever. they were just gone you'd look at them hoping for some help but they would just ignore you. we had to flag the hostess for help. did not deserve the tip we gave whatsoever. sad but true. This was probably the fourth time I've been here for breakfast, and I was less than impressed. The weight staff is always very nice, and I had Hector and he's awesome. Super friendly and knowledgeable and helpful and always there to refill my coffee or water. I got me the Popeye omelette which I've had before no sour cream... And unfortunately, there was hardly any bacon in it they're supposed to be bacon inside and there was maybe five tiny pieces of bacon in the entire omelette. The hashbrowns were stale and not warm. Like they've been sitting out for a while. I think they need to give serrated knives to cut your toast in half because after all, sourdough is a little bit more difficult to cut, and I'm not sure if they're still using the same coffee, but it wasn't like it's been. They allow dogs in the patio so I moved to the inside because even though I love all animals, including dogs, I just don't think it's a good place for them to be... Where people eat, just in case something happens, if you know what I mean. I might give this place another chance, I'm not sure... But I have other options. It's really too bad. The Hash House that used to be there did the same thing. And their back patio started smelling like animal urine because they allowed dogs back there, and I only went once to that place and never went back. My hashbrowns were extremely dry, but the cherry on top, was the dog sitting at the table inside. On the lap of the owner. At. The. Table. When I asked my waitress about why the dog, clearly a pet, not a service dog, was inside and sitting at the table, she said, "it's no problem" When staff don't know that animals indoors are a health code violation, it makes one wonder what other health codes are not being followed. Hash House will truly be missed. I was a big fan of Hash House and was hoping the Breakfast Club would be just as good but I was disappointed. Came for breakfast and shared the order of french toast and the jalisco omelette. The french toast was DRY and was basically just slices of toast on the plate. The jalisco omelette itself was good. The meat inside was nice and tender but the side of hash browns were stale and had that old taste like it sat there for a while and collected cold oil. We asked to switch the hash browns out for the breakfast potatoes but they were unfortunately no better and were just large chunks of russet potatoes with not much done to them. Second time here for breakfast over our four day visit to the Bay Area. Absolutely love it- the servers are amazing and remembered our drink order from two days ago! We've been to the location in san jose multiple times before and tried this location for the first time. We were seated right away on Saturday around 1:30 and it took about 10 minutes to get water served and place our order. It took about half an hour to get our food. We got the Santa Maria skillet, country fried steak, and tiramisu pancakes. I remember the Santa Maria skillet to be better at the san jose location. The country fried steak was kind of small and also a bit bland. I never add salt to food served at restaurants but I added salt and pepper to both dishes. We were confused when the tiramisu pancakes came because there was a biscoff cookie on it and they have a cookie butter pancake on the menu, but they just place a biscoff cookie on both pancakes. It didn't really taste like tiramisu at all with basically 0 flavor of any tiramisu ingredients (coffee/mascarpone/cocoa powder etc) but it was decent. IDK if we visited on an off day because the food was not it (I'm obvs in the minority). At least teeth is optional for some of their dishes! I was so excited when The Breakfast Club Midtown opened in Campbell in January, and after three visits, I can confidently say it has become my new go-to spot, especially when I'm dining solo. Since then, I've gone back a couple more times and have continued working my way through the breakfast menu. The food and drinks are delicious, and I've enjoyed everything I've tried so far. I had a feeling this location would be good because I had been to the San Jose location before, where my only real complaint was the service. I was curious to see how the Campbell location would hold up once it got busier, and now that I've seen it during a busier time, I'm still impressed. It does seem like they could use a little more staff since the server is clearly hustling, but he is always friendly, gets my order right, and I'm never left waiting. The decor and furniture is more trendy than the other location. There's even a large patio facing the street. The restaurant is big, bright, clean and parking is so easy! This visit I had the Chicken and Waffle. The Breakfast Club in Campbell is a solid brunch spot if you're looking for straightforward breakfast food, fast service, and a good amount of food for the price. One of the best parts is definitely the outdoor patio. It's covered, spacious, and really nice if you want to sit outside without baking in the sun, especially during the summer. The inside is also bright and open, and they have a bar area with a TV, which gives it a little more energy than your average breakfast place. The menu is pretty big and they also have a huge drink selection. I didn't get to try any of the alcoholic beverages this time, but after seeing some of their drinks on Instagram, I'd definitely want to come back and try one. They had mimosas, Bloody Marys, cocktails, iced lattes, and a lot of fun brunch drink options. Food wise, it's good and decently priced compared to a lot of other breakfast spots in the area. You get a generous amount of food, and the breakfast burrito I got was really delicious. The bacon was also nice and thick, which I always appreciate because thin sad bacon is honestly a waste of everyone's time. Overall, I'd say this is a good four star breakfast place. It's not trying to be anything fancy or super memorable, and there isn't really a big wow factor, but it does what it does well. Took a bit for the server to come over but all was better once the server came. The food was all delicious. The coffee cake was moist. The English muffin in the Benedict was nothings I've had before which I appreciate. It was fresh, soft, and had just enough chew to hold up to the crab cake and then poached egg on top. Stopped by for Brunch on Memorial Day Weekend Sunday. Our party was dominated by our grandchild. While the place was bustling, we were seated quickly and the toddler needed to explore. We had breakfast at this new place yesterday. It's the same owner as Lou's Coffee Shop in Los Gatos, which is a favorite of mine. The Breakfast Club has all the same menu items that Lou's has, plus a lot more. I ordered one of the breakfasts that I usually order at Lou's, to compare. It honestly wasn't as good as Lou's, especially the country potatoes. They just didn't seem to be as flavorful at the new place. As far as ambience, the decor is very fun, especially the egg lights. It's quite loud though, and difficult to have a conversation. On the plus side, it's a lot bigger than the tiny Lou's Coffee Shop, so easier to be seated without a wait on the weekend. I went here just the other day to celebrate Galentine's with my friends. We went during an off-hour on a Saturday, and we waited around 30 minutes for a table. I've seen long lines go out the door, so I'd consider this a quicker turnover. Inside the restaurant, it's decently spacious but they pack a lot of tables so they can accompany more customers. The bathrooms are in the back. There's a huge menu ranging from scrambles, benedicts, waffles, salads, ala carte items, and more. They also have cocktails and I'd recommend the Tiki Mango Mimosa. It comes in a Tiki cup and has actual mango puree in it. I usually order the tofu scramble with a side of hash browns, which is the few vegetarian options I can have. I usually have to dress it up with seasoning to suit my taste buds. There are a variety of hot sauces, ketchup, mustard, salt, and pepper in a caddy on the table. The customer service is excellent, but they are so busy that they may forget some items on your order. For example, our server asked me what kind of bread I wanted with my scramble, but she and I totally forgot about it. There's a lot of food so I don't care about a single toast, but others may. For my friend's chicken and waffles, the server was SO generous about the butter and maple syrup. She even gave my friend 2 more to-go containers of the butter and 2 packets of maple syrup, since my friend had leftovers. I was excited when I heard a new location of The Breakfast Club was opening in Campbell as my wife and I are big fans of their other spot on San Carlos. I was slightly worried that it would be different or not quite as good, but I'm happy to report that my fears were quickly put to rest as this location was every bit as excellent as the previous one we tried. Our go-to has always been to split the George Scramble and the Blueberry Lemon Ricotta Pancakes, two amazing dishes that balance each other out nicely as it offers a sweet & savory combo. The service was stellar and they now even offer two kinds of in-house hot sauce. My wife was such a fan of their Jalapeno hot sauce that I actually went back and asked if they sold it by the bottle which thankfully they did, so we now have it sitting in our fridge at home. The only real complaint, and it is outside of their control, is that they have very limited parking and given how popular they get during busy times it can be hard to find a spot with limited street parking options around the area. Just arrive a little early to give yourself time to find a spot. The Breakfast Club is easily my favorite breakfast/brunch restaurant in the South Bay and I'm overjoyed that they are expanding while maintaining the same standard of excellence. read more

The portions are generous but unfortunately fell a bit short of expectations. The tiramisu pancake seems to just be a normal pancake with cream and a sprinkling of cocoa powder on top. We were expecting some kind of coffee flavor to make it actually tiramisu themed. No complaints about the french toast and its blueberry compote! The blueberry lemon ricotta pancake had lots of blueberry but could have used more ricotta and lemon flavors. The "medium rare" steak on the surf & turf benny was unfortunately overcooked and came out medium well but the flavors were not bad. We also had the option of choosing between potatoes or coffee cake as a side and unfortunately never got our coffee cake. It was a holiday for some today, including me! Decided to come for brunch and it turned out to be a brilliant idea. We arrived in between the breakfast and lunch crowd so we were seated immediately. The menu is good, large enough with a lot of options but not overwhelming. The service was good despite the staff being busy. The food came out quickly. It was hot and the two scrambles that we ordered were very good. My only complaint is that the hashed browns needed some salt. It was really bland. This is definitely a place to go back to as there are many more great dishes that need to be tried (like the avocado toast, the pancakes/waffles/french toast, the Benedict's). read more

TLDR This breakfast spot is decent overall: good ambiance, nice patio, overpriced food, adequate service, poor parking, and poor time management. The food was very tasty, but it was all lukewarm except for the potatoes - both potatoes and hashbrowns on different plates were cold. I loved the California French toast. The service was fine, meaning that the server was kind and competent, refilled our coffees, and was generally attentive. If you don't take advantage of every encounter, though, then you will end up waiting awhile for the server to make the rounds back to you. We sat on the patio which was cold because there's somewhat of a wind tunnel situation on that side of the building. However, it is well covered and protected from rain. It's also large and relatively quiet. Everything was slow: we were quoted a 30 min wait for 2 at 11:10 am on a Sunday, and at 11:50 (40 min later) we were quoted another 20 min. It took an hour to get a table. Then we ordered immediately - as soon as we met our server - and waited 45 min for food. By the time we paid and left, it was 1:15. There were only two of us, and it took 2 hours to have a simple breakfast. The prices are nuts and unfortunately typical of locally owned bay area spots - which I prefer to support. We had two black coffees, a waffle, side of toast, side of hashbrowns, and the sausage breakfast combo with French toast as the upgraded side. Total was $63 before tip, $75 after. Again, for two people. Parking is atrocious and often people park on the other side of Hamilton to eat here. The parking lot is tiny and you're unlikely to find anything. You also can't circle around easily because of the way the entrances are set up. You're best off parking opposite the restaurant and walking across Hamilton avenue. read more

Welcome to Grand Opening Day of The Breakfast Club (formally Hashhouse) located at 851 W Hamilton Ave, Campbell, CA 95008 I can't believe the menu. It has a everything on it (See Pictures). I was so happy to see the regular servers from Hashhouse, especially Norma. Service was outstanding, of course. Shell also assisted her. I really liked the teamwork all servers gave. When my wife and I walked in the door, all the servers and manager said welcome, just like a sushi place. I had questions on the menu. Norma was very nice and explained everything. We had the Midtown Duo with carnitas and lox. I had my favorite, rib eye steak. Everything was top quality and cooked to perfection (see picture). The green chimichuri sauce was outstanding and great on hash brown. The rye bread and other items come from a special bakery-yum! The coffee was really good. I went to The Breakfast Club for the first time today and left pretty disappointed. I've seen a lot of positive reviews about the service, ambiance, and food, but that wasn't my experience at all. I'd rate the food a 3/10, the service a 4/10, and the ambiance maybe a 6/10. It took about 45 minutes to get our food. While it was Father's Day, the place wasn't overly busy--steady, but not packed--so the wait felt excessive. When the food finally arrived, it was underwhelming. I ordered the George omelet, and it was bland and tasted overcooked. Others in my group had the loco moco, and they weren't impressed either. The service didn't help the experience. We had to repeatedly ask for refills and basic things, and it felt like we were bothering the staff every time we needed something. Overall, I don't really understand the hype. It seems like more of a place people go to hang out, have drinks, and watch TV rather than for the food itself. Personally, I wouldn't go back. He liked the favor but it was definitely a once in a blue moon type of dish. The fries made it very filling. I got the chicken and waffles. This is one of my favorites. I tried the Korean style but I prefer the classic version. My only qualm is I found a piece of glass on the floor. Staff is amazing as always, they've known my kids since they were still in their single digit ages and now they are in their late teens and 20s. David, the manager, took great care of us. He really took the time to make sure we ordered something great and felt welcome and were happy with our experience. I have celiac disease and he walked me through what would be safe and the precautions they were able to take. We got the George scramble and it was incredible! Will definitely be going back. Been to the other location a few times and always pretty solid. Ordered biscuits and gravy (my absolute favorite breakfast ever) from this new location and got this mega dense, over cooked, disaster of a biscuit. It had the texture of compact sand. Someone missed an ingredient or something. If I got this served to me in person I would have sent it back, which says a lot for me. Of all days, on Father's Day too. So sad. read more

Poor service experience -- 7/21/26 We arrived at the restaurant at 2:30 PM, knowing that closing time was at 3:00 PM. When we walked in, the older lady at the front immediately told us that the restaurant was about to close. We understood that they were nearing closing time, but we still expected to receive the same level of service as any other customer. After being seated, we were left at the table without any menus. We had to get them ourselves. The waitress never checked on us and seemed more focused on cleaning around us and preparing to leave. The entire experience made us feel unwelcome, as if our arrival at 2:30 PM was an inconvenience. We understand wanting to close on time, but customers should still be treated with respect until closing. Best coffee cake and breakfast spot and very good customer service. Ambience is intimate and great for family and friends

First time trying this location. We've been to the mid town location plenty of times. We came for breakfast. The parking situation is much easier. We walked in and were seated right away. You could tell the vibe is different from the other location. A quieter more relaxed crowd. After we were seated,it took while for someone to bring us some water and menu's There is definitely a lot less servers working at this location. The food is still the same high quality and taste. It was nice to be able to take our time and enjoy our food. I sometimes feel rushed at the other location. Which is understandable considering how busy that location is.. read more
