Friendly Cashier Justin and happy woman who helped with the coffee "thank you" for being so cheerful and chatty. I felt valued as a customer. I came close to closing and though they had no more coffee in the air pots without blinking an eye they happily brewed me some fresh. Love that customer service. The cookies did not disappoint. I'm pretty sure they use a pound of butter in each chocolate chip cookie. The space was clean and all the condiments were well-stocked. There's a few leather chairs towards the front of the store a high bar for three people and a few small tables and chairs and one larger table for four. Normally I love this place but today I was a little displeased to say the least. I checked the store hours on the website underneath the contact information and it says it's supposed to be open from 7am to 8 pm Fri through Sat. Well, this evening I went to go get some cookies for a family dessert for after dinner and they're already closing the store up at 7:15pm. Very spacious coffee/cookie shop in this outlet. They have nice tables, great for either working, studying, chatting, or taking a break from all that shopping. I like that they had a large table for the people out there that needs an entire table to study (me). Downside is that it's super loud with the music and blender. Also unreliable wifi. I haven't had their cookie dough (seems to be popular here), but I'm also not someone that ate cookie dough growing up so it's not really my thing, but from what I've seen, people love it. Highly recommend if you're looking for a good gluten free cookie. One of the best I've ever had! It did still have dairy in it FYI for those that are dairy free as well. This is the second time I've came in to this coffee shop since I just moved into the area. The drinks are amazing so are the cookies, the only thing that had me disappointed was one of the employees. She seems to be a manager or a higher up by the way I saw her working and speaking to the employees. She is an older hispanic woman. The way she communicates with the younger employees didn't seem professional in any way to me. I have been a manager at a restaurant for many years and always make sure to treat my employees in a respectful tone and matter especially in front of others. Not sure if shes the only manager in charge of the location since she's been there every morning when I've went in. I'm new to the area and I showed up at this coffeeshop to study a little bit and have some coffee. I was looking in Yelp for some options and this one with great reviews came up. I am not sure if I agree though. It is nice inside but it wasn't too welcoming. The male barista said hi to me and that was nice but the female cashier (Maria) had a strange attitude. She hardly looked at me and then gave me a drink that had the wrong drink name. I noticed it when I was going to take my Yelp picture. I went to tell her that I think I got the wrong drink bc of the label and because I got a latte and what I got didn't taste like coffee, it tasted more like chocolate. She responded by sniffing the drink, with her mask on, and then telling me I was wrong bc the latte I got has cinnamon and I can smell the cinnamon on it. She waited so that I could sniff it too. So, it was super awkward bc to me it tasted nothing like a latte. I guess if you want a latte that actually tastes like coffee, don't go here. She remade my "latte" and I just studied for a while, at least the wifi was reliable. Unless you are a regular and they know you by name, this was not a very welcoming place. I usually give 5 star reviews bc I love food and to try new places but I don't think I'll be returning here because besides the table where I sat to study, nothing else felt homey. read more

When I had asked to switch it out, the barista was going to gladly switch it but the owner came out of nowhere and asked me with an attitude "wHATs wRONG wITH IT???!" I honestly did not have the time to argue with her if they refused to switch my drink out. So I was surprised by the lack of empathy and customer service. MOST companies small business or not, would gladly switch something out if you were not happy with it. I received very bad vibes from her, like her business was struggling and the 50 cent investment of matcha was a problem for me to switch out. I just said, "never mind I don't want anything from here." I walked out even though I paid $7.75 for nothing. Felt almost like a discrimination after that transaction.
