What a fun and amazing little place! Came in for a couple drinks and I've never had a "fun soda" before. I got a couple (forgot the names).and they were so fun. One had coconut in it and it was super overpowering but the second drink I got was fruity and perfect. The food in here looked very delicious, even the cookies. I am GF so I cannot eat them but my boyfriend sure liked his! Can't wait to come again and try more drinks, there's so many to pick from! read more

My friend wanted us to come by here before we headed to the city because she saw this cool spot on TikTok. I must say that this is a great spot, I didn't even know they had cookies but when we went in there it was like being a kid in the candy store haha. To add, the cookies are not super sweet which I liked, at least the ones I tried, compared to competitors like Crumbl smh. The Cookie Monster and S'mores are good and now to the drinks, we did a flight (4) which were a good size for a small! I can't recall all the flavors but they were all good (I do remember the Leviosa and Island Time). One complaint I have and I appreciate the owner told us is that the lids on the drinks were loose, basically we lost one drink in the car, yikez lol. So, I just want to add we need better lids otherwise this is a good spot, keep it up! Really 5 stars but I only took 1 off for the lids, sorry! read more

When in Napa: Sugar Spice and Ice is always on the visit list. There are many different flavor options of cookies, some with tons of ingredients in them! They're unique and there are seasonal specials! The cookies are on the pricier side but considering they are massive and delicious, its worth the price! They also have a variety of sodas and drinks to try to! I love sweets with some salt but most don't have enough salt. Their chocolate chip with sea salt is a perfect sweet and salty balance. I was craving a cookie today so I was on a mission to find a good one. Went on good ole Yelp to find me one and it did not disappoint. I was in Napa for the weekend and upon my search results was Sugar Spice and Ice. I'm from Napa county so I knew this was a new spot. Located across from Napa High School (so cool I wish we had this back in the day) is Brooklyn's sweet shop which sells cookies and dirty sodas along with cheese zombies! The smell hit me when I walked in. Brought me back to middle school. I asked her about them and she said she makes regular cheese zombies with American cheese and a pizza one filled with marinara, cheese and pepperoni. Now I really wanted to try these but we were so full from lunch and just wanted a dessert. They have an assortment of cookies and it looks like she switches them up which is cool. Kinda like Crumbl but I'll tell you these are better. They're huge too at $5.50 a piece. Worth it though. I got the cookie butter and brookie. Both delicious so glad we got both. Also, decided to try a dirty soda. We got the Leviosa which had root beer, vanilla and butterscotch. Honestly, it reminded us of a Filipino drink called Gulaman which was amazing. Can I just say... This is the cutest boutique dessert spot on the block! If you're craving delicious cookies that melt in the mouth, you simply must stop here. Many options to choose from. They even offer a mini assortment if you can't decide on a flavor offering. Prices are very reasonable. This is a small walk in location so there's not much room to hang out and dine in. They also offer one of my personal favorites which is Lotus energy drinks. Think of a healthier version of store bought energy drinks. You can mix and match flavors to create the perfect beverage, or just choose one from many options. House sodas. Cream sodas, etc. I can't wait to return and support this Local Biz. Such a hidden gem! My family and I found Sugar Spice and Ice looking for a comforting dessert. The interior is cute and colorful which definitely reflects the owner's personality. Very caring, helpful, and insightful. We got the Cookie Monster, Smores, and Choco Chip cookies. All were perfectly sweet, we thoroughly enjoyed these cookies. Popped in to Sugar Spice and Ice since I'm a self-claimed cookie connoisseur and am happy to report that the cookies are SPECTACULAR, give me 14 of 'em right now The chocolate chip cookie had the ideal chip to dough ratio with a sprinkle of salt flakes on top and the banana pudding cookie was sooo good. Such an amazing sweets shop! All the cookies I've had so far were absolutely delicious, I eat large cookies like this in increments, and the cookie never got stale over the couple of days I was picking at it. I'm not the biggest soda fan, but I really enjoyed their Cowgirl soda mix! The cookies are so affordable considering their huge size, and amount of toppings! The price, taste, and quality are amazing, can't be beat! The shop is a cute quant place, pretty sure there isn't any seating, more of a pick up type of business. Likely gets crowded very easily especially during the lunch hours of Napa High, otherwise it's pretty quiet. Definitely recommend to all locals, or tourists visiting! read more

So I won't lie and say that "The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives" on Netflix didn't inspire me to look for a soda place like this. I was glad there was one here in Napa! There was a line when I went in and just one person working but she was GREAT and so fast! She also made a point to make conversation with everyone while she worked. I got the Cowgirl with Coke Zero and it was DELICIOUS! Also because it was happy hour it was less than $5. Oooooook. Finally got to stop by here with an empty stomach to try out the Zombie rolls. Yea this place is fire. The dough is chewy, crunchy, and delicious. The pizza one we got was a perfect balance of mozzarella and pepperoni. We got a cheese one for the kids to split which they promptly demolished. These are some of THE BEST cookies I've ever had. The s'mores cookie is ALWAYS a go to and never disappoints but all of the cookies are so good and such a huge portion. Because they are so big, I love that you can save them for the next day and they still taste just as good as day one. The staff is so amazing, friendly and eager to help or provide recommendations. You can tell that customer satisfaction is their number one priority and it shows with both the quality of the cookies and customer service. Came in today cause I read about this spot on Napa Life. And man o man!! The drink menu was awesome and the treats looks so good!! I got the strawberry fields and the Caribbean palmer which were absolutely delicious and refreshing. I also got a cinnamon roll and a pizza zombie which were very tasty. Disappointing pricing policy - won't be back unless it changes…read more My wife had been telling me how much she enjoyed this place, so I finally brought the family in for our first visit. The frozen yogurt itself was decent, and my family really liked their treats. Unfortunately, the actual experience left a very sour taste in my mouth. I was highly insulted to find out that Yo'Belle charges customers more if they choose to pay with a credit card. Their signs claim a +4% difference, which is incredibly steep. As someone who runs my own small, family-owned business, I find this practice outdated and frustrating in this day and age. In my own business, I prefer credit cards. The actual merchant fees are usually around 2.5%, and paying that small fee is well worth avoiding the extra time, effort, and risk it takes for employees to count cash, balance a drawer, and handle bank deposits (not to mention bank cash fees). Penalizing customers for using modern payment methods feels like a lazy way to pass on the cost of doing business. It's annoying and insulting. My family and I will not be returning to Yo'Belle unless this policy is changed.

The ice cream was delicious and just what we needed to finish the day. The parlor is a smaller space, but there is sufficient seating if you get there to find some. Our waiter was super fun and stayed on top of every meal and if we took a little longer than intended, there was no rush. Personally, I've never had anything that was on the menu so it was a first try for everything I order and I can say, it definitely was amazing! The brisket is melt in your mouth tender (tendernism as the kids say!). It also has a beautifully pink smoke ring, which is a great indicator that it was cooked perfectly. We opted for the sweet BBQ sauce on the side, which went perfectly with bread and butter pickles. They were running a whole hog special for July 4th that was equally moist and dressed with a zingy vinegar that kept it from being too heavy. The tri-tip was also phenomenal - it still had a good bite and was a rosy blush. No grey, dried out BBQ here! The side options also feel more chef driven than any old BBQ joint with options like pork belly potato salad and 816 rub curly fries with bacon aioli. The restaurant runs like a well oiled machine, you order up front and pick up your feast after you pay or wait for table service. We enjoyed sitting in the outdoor patio as well, so it's a great place where furry friends are welcome. Chef Darryl Bell is serving up the best barbecue I've had probably ever - it's worth the trip from the Bay Area if you are hankering for solid Kansas style BBQ.

I feel you can usually tell how good the food will be if they have really good chips and fresh salsa. The chips were delicious, salted just right and super crunchy. They honestly tasted like the chips my mom and grandma would make. They were super fresh as if they were made that day or recently. The salsa was soooo good. Has a little bit of heat at the back of the mouth once you take a bite. The cilantro comes through and offers fresh herbiness. And there is a hint of Smokeiness to the salsa as well. It's well balanced and you can actually taste each ingredient. I also love the consistency little chunks of onion, tomato, pepper, and cilantro but still a little liquidy so you can dip. I also ordered the Los Agaves cocktail (tequila, lime, cucumber, agave, and ube. I didn't really notice the ube flavor but it added beautiful color. The cucumber comes through. The tequila is also present , no watered down drinks here. :) I couldn't decide between steak or chicken tacos and my waitress said how about both? Sold. The meal was excellent. The tacos are fully loaded with meat, they don't skimp. But the real show stopper is the steak taco. It was so tender and flavor full. I ordered it without the cheese and I'm glad I did because it's the star of the dish all on its own. The rice and beans were lovely too, flavor yet light. The whole meal was exactly what I needed to recharge. I think one of the best things is this meal is light yet fulfilling. You don't feel bloated, overly full, or heavy. It's not greasy. It's refreshing. Thank you so much for the perfect post race meal!

This weekend, my cousin brought my aunt, who loves chocolate, into the shop. They stood by the display and attempted to ask questions about the chocolates. The employee repeatedly responded from behind the register that she "couldn't hear them" and refused to walk over to assist. Feeling unwelcome, they decided to leave. When they told me what had happened, I went over to the counter to understand what was going on. There were no customers waiting, and I calmly explained that my family simply wanted help purchasing chocolate. I asked if she would be willing to apologize and rectify the situation so my aunt and cousin could continue shopping. Instead, she repeatedly said she didn't want "anything hostile" and wasn't looking for "problems," even though the conversation remained calm and respectful. When I asked to speak with the manager or owner, she picked up the phone and offered for me to speak with someone. When I asked if it was the manager or owner, she said she was calling security. I was stunned. At no point was anyone aggressive or disrespectful. We simply wanted service. She then pointed to the Pride pins on her apron and shared that she had been bullied by others because of them. I made it clear that no one in my family was bullying her and that we only wanted assistance buying chocolate. I've spent many weekends in Napa and love Oxbow Public Market. This interaction was completely out of character with the hospitality I've come to expect there. Calling security on customers who are politely asking for service and requesting to speak with a manager was unwarranted and deeply disappointing. I sincerely hope ownership addresses this, because no customer should leave feeling unwelcome when they simply came in to buy chocolate.
