I stopped by Barnhouse Napa Brews last month just to grab a few coffees, and ended up discovering way more than I expected. They've got wine, beer on tap, and some fun flights! It's such a cozy, laid-back "coffee pub" hybrid. I saw those grind pouches on the counter (yes, real grind pouches), and low-key I'm considering trying one straight-up. That "espresso into the bloodstream" energy? Yes please! Tried three different drinks while I was there: the Showroom Matcha (topped with this dreamy orange-cream foam), a Duvalin Iced (my friend's pick, so good), and a Super Mellow Iced for me. All hits, though I'm definitely missing a little extra espresso next time to dial up the energy. I might had 2 extra shots! They've also got food: burritos, sandwiches, pies, sausage rolls and cans/pop to go. The space itself is super chill, lots of reclaimed wood, comfy couches, and even a fireplace spot I want to make my off site work-from-coffee-shop home. Barnhouse Service was friendly and quick. I'm already planning to come back to try more lattes and maybe unwind with a beer or wine + some board games. This place is a stop to make.

Mondays is open mic night from 6-9pm. Looks small from the street, but the place stretches to the back with more seats available. Would love to have more love seats vs. wooden chairs, but I'll take what I can get. I would that the prices were listed on their board/menu above the bar. Took a walk in 50 degrees after dinner and just wanted a chill place to let my stomach settle before driving back to the hotel. The place was pretty full for a Monday night. Ordered the $25 coffee flight that included 4 different flavors of coffee. I thought the drink was ok and relied heavily on the syrup used. Would have like the coffee flavor to stand out more. I would definitely come back in the future to just chill and hopefully listen to local artists. A gem in Downtown Napa for sure.

This spot seemed like a good hangout spot. Walk into the place, there seating enjoying their pastries and coffees while working on their laptops. Some were enjoying conversations with each other. If you walk further in, there's another room that had games and TV. A crowd of people were watching a game with their drinks. I stopped in there to enjoy a chai latte in the warm sun before walking around in Napa. The chai latte was perfect with my walk.

Bar far, this place is one of my top favorite coffee houses EVER! Located close to the action of downtown yet just slightly tucked away. There's a parking lot across the street however it's full a lot so best bet is street parking (should you be driving). Super friend staff and coffee house dog will greet you at the door. Everything here is fresh, from their baked treats (absolutely love the super light and fluffy cinnamon rolls and the homemade poptarts) to the mixed drinks like frozen pina colada. YES, they have a decent selection of wines and beers too for those that come in the afternoon or evening. Many nights of week they have events like Mon bingo and Tues Jeopardy. I've also come in a couple of times to see lively crowds watching a soccer game being shown on the back room TV.

This is our first time here. And it was pretty nice. We walked in and got some good coffee. While we were waiting, they were doing karaoke and some kids were having a blast. They were jamming out and we jumped along with them as well. The coffee is great, and the service was pretty quick as well.

Coffee!! We were starting our day in Napa and I needed caffeine. I had read ahead that this was the place to go. It was hoppin' in there. I ordered at the counter, a latte for me, and a hot cocoa and homemade pop tart for my husband. First, homemade Pop tart! They had a variety of flavors and all looked delicious. He went with the raspberry. I did have a bite and it was, in fact, delicious. The folks behind the counter were working as fast as possible to fulfill all the orders. There was a consistent stream of people coming through while we were there. My latte was hot and tasty with all its caffeined goodness. My husband said his hot chocolate hit the spot. There is street parking. The space itself is an amalgamation of tastes and décor. They have evening activities when it is more of a brew spot. It would have been fun to visit in the evening too.

Pretty cool coffee house/hangout spot in Napa. I ordered a bagel dog and a Gushers Barn Burner. The food is cool and the atmosphere is inviting. Will definitely come back.

Great local coffee and beer place that is very dog friendly and supportive towards law enforcement and our military. The coffee was brewed to perfection and they have a nice variety of food options. The sausage rolls were delicious, as well as the bagel dog. The cafe is beautiful inside and the staff was exceptional.

"Breakfast Bliss, Comfy Chairs & Chill Vibes -- Barnhouse, You've Got My Vote" I stopped by Barnhouse Napa Brews and, wow!!! that breakfast chorizo sandwich? Hands down the best I've ever had. Perfectly spicy, flavorful, and satisfying. I'd come back just for that. To wash it down, I had an iced Supermellow, which lived up to its name... smooth, a little sweet, and gave me that perfect morning energy boost without the jitters. My friend went the classic route with a breakfast burrito and black coffee and reported both were delicious and bold. Basically, we were two very happy morning people. Also, comfy chairs! Yes, that deserves its own shoutout. Between the vibe, the music, and the setup, this place makes you want to linger, talk, read, or just relax into the atmosphere. I'm excited to come back for game night and some of the other activities they host. It's such a fun, community-forward concept, and the space feels both welcoming and creative. I haven't dipped into the adult beverage menu yet, but rest assured I'll be back and updating this review as I continue to explore their offerings. So far? Solid 5 stars. Barnhouse is a gem and I can't wait to make it part of my regular rotation. Next time with my puppy son -- because yes they love dogs too!!!

We are big fans of Tamara so we totally wanted to try this place out.. especially after seeing videos on social media! We go in and it's super cute. However we go to the front to ask questions and the lady working has no idea about anything. She has to ask the gentleman next to her. We do two flights of coffee.. we watch the guy make them and he kind of just makes them quick and they already did not look appetizing. Decided to still give them a try. We did a rating system and they just did not taste that good. We didn't finish them. Kind of feel like the guy making them didn't really know much about coffee.. we were kind of disappointed.

Still our choice for coffee and pop tarts when in Napa Valley. Always great and friendly service.

Absolutely dig this place. Comfortable and cozy yet has elegance. Came here on a relaxing sunday, and would highly recommend the Coffee Flight...did not see it in the menu but asked the very helpful and engaging staff. The coffee flight menu changes but you can sub any with their monthly specials. Seating outside as well. They do have decaf expresso and some sugar free syrups as well. What would enhance the place is to add more allergy sensitive treats.

As soon as we approached the venue, there was a long line of people waiting to get inside. We arrived a bit later (around 8pm), and the crowd had already started to fill the venue. Mind you, it's a decent sized venue but not a massive space -- enough to accommodate at minimum 100 and likely max of 200 while still staying within code. There were several people coming in and out of the door, where the GM and bouncer for the night , appeared extremely stressed due to the amount of people in line and inside. A woman, who happened to be the wife of the DJ, stepped out to make a phone call and when she attempted to get back inside, proceeded to get yelled at by the bouncer saying she needed to go to the back of the line and wait like everyone else. The woman attempted to tell the bouncer her husband, who was the guest DJ for the night and is a historical, world renowned DJ (again using big names to draw crowds, and appropriating vinyl culture, but not respecting the very people in attendance), needed to tell him she'd be outside and would sit in the car. The GM started to yell and disrespect the DJs wife, and she ended up staying outside. Apparently this GM and venue are not used to larger crowds, and she essentially cracked under pressure. She went on to tell us the capacity was 67, and that they "were already at 200", which is a lie because there was a ton of space between people inside the venue (we have photos to prove it). She kept yelling and pushing people back. Girlfriend, this was not a Vegas club night. This crowd is 40+ (age) crowd, so it's not like people were out of control and acting debaucherous -- everyone was respecting the rules. If you couldn't handle the crowd, which btw you agreed prior to the 80-100 people expected for the party, then why was it such a hassle for your venue to handle the capacity. You knew a larger crowd was expected that night, it's your responsibility as a business owner to adequately staff the bar, door, etc. Yes; we needed to respect the door and the rules -- and everyone did. I won't get into further detail, but a physical altercation took place after the woman tried to return a second time (to again get her husband and tell him what was going on given she was being harassed at the door), putting hands on her in the process. Just completely out of line. Overall, this venue wants to appropriate the music and DJ culture, yet when the actual music and DJ community show up, there is no respect. Let alone for loyal patrons who have frequented your business and brought tons of revenue to the bar that night (which btw was extremely slow). Don't fall for the dog and pony show here. Go somewhere else that touts respects for their patrons, and for all walks of life -- not just the pretentious kind.
