We came in the during the first week they were open. They do have attached parking although the lot is tight to maneuver. I was surprised how large the space was when we walked in. Very open, bright, and for something so large I feel it was lacking and a bit cold as there wasn't much to the decor or ambiance besides just a large open space. We were excited to try some true Belgian beers. The night we stopped in the Dubbel was not ready yet sadly but we look forward to trying it. I have to say the beers we had were great. We were pleasantly surprised! The Coffee Stout was very well done. Not to sweet as a lot of them tend to be. It's always great when a new place opens and their product is really good. Both of the owners were very sweet. They answered all of our questions and gave us great info on their beers and what made them open. Definitely a place we plan to return to. They had a food truck outside and games to play. So eat, drink and have fun. My only criticism.... We were given coasters for our beers from a stack on the counter that were dirty and stained. A bit gross. Hopefully it was just a one time thing.

Came in on a Saturday to try a few beers, it was not overly busy which was nice! Found out they didn't offer flights so my friend and I just shared a few different ones! Had to walk in to the counter to order, then they had an abundance of seating both indoor and outdoors (some shaded and some not). Over all a really chill atmosphere which I always enjoy from breweries!

One may ask, What is my hobby? Well, a Brewery Bunny, of course!!!!! I love hopping from one brewery to the next. I'm always on the look out for the newest spots to try and will most certainly be the first in line for a freshly tapped craft beer. It's exciting to see so many new Breweries popping up in the city. We've been to Brewery Faisan a few times over the past few months and we have truly enjoyed our overall experience and the service is fantastic. Located on a quiet industrial street, is brewery magic. This warehouse has been transformed into a unique spot for the community. The space is large with a variety of seating options for patrons. We've been here early afternoon and sat at the bar, enjoying conversation with "beer"tender. They offer a nice selection of beers, you won't be disappointed. Another thing I appreciate about local breweries, they support the greater community. I was excited to learn about the frequency of food 'pop'ups and charity events. There is something special about shared collaboration between small business. I love the family vibe of this brewery. We were fortunate to attend a special 'pop-up' featuring Esto's Garage. It was a packed house, patrons with their families, friends, and even four legged friends were welcome. If you are into Trivia, they host a special night for Sporacle, which is always a fun night out. Brewery Faisan is a must stop on your next brewery tour of the city.

It's a very nice brewery and place to chill with your pup. It was taco night when I went and I never met a taco that I didn't like.

The dubbel is the best in the city, the porter has good chocolate and coffee notes, and the saison is bubbly and spicy.

The brewery splits their offerings between Jolly Pumpkin sours and North Peak Brewing Company's variety of styles. My husband ordered a Jolly Pumpkin pint right away. I wanted to try a flight but needed time to choose. Our bartender Lenice gave me all the time I needed. When a couple of my picks weren't available, she brought me samples of other beers to try. I liked one of the samples. Jason, the manager, helped me make my final selection. I don't typically drink sours, but these weren't the kind that make you pucker. They were subtle. Definitely my kind of sours. Jason shared stories about the brewery's history and owner. His knowledge and enthusiasm for the place really came through. Lenice stopped by a few times to check if we needed anything. Both Lenice and Jason made this visit memorable. Lenice kept the energy light and friendly. Jason's passion for his work and the brewery added depth to the experience. If you're in the area and want good beer with even better service, stop by Jolly Pumpkin Brewery.

I wouldn't sit here for hours on end because the seats aren't particuly cozy, but the vibe is totally welcoming and the people that work there have always been very friendly and nice. I like a sour, farmhouse, saison, etc and the options are always pretty good. If in the area, I would not hesitate to bring a friend or visitor.

It has that charming, welcoming dive bar energy that feels relaxed, unfussy, and immediately easy to like. The staff was friendly and fun, which set the tone nicely from the start, and the music was great all around. It is the kind of place that feels lively without trying too hard, which is very much in its favour. One of the coolest surprises was the speakeasy tucked away almost in plain sight. It can be rented for private events, and it is much larger and more finished than you might expect, with a really nice atmosphere that makes it feel special without losing the bar's overall charm. They also have a great outdoor area with a large TV display, which adds even more appeal if you want to linger a while. And then, of course, there was the happy hour deal: $8 for a shot and a Surfside, which had us at hello and frankly required very little convincing. Overall, PJ's Lager House delivered good drinks, good music, kind people, and a very good time. I would happily go back.

They didn't, but they had another similar Belgian ale that was great, so no complaints there! Our table started with the hand-battered chicken tenders and fried pickles. I really liked the light batter on both, and you could actually taste the beer in the batter, which was awesome. Three of the four of us ordered the Reuben, and the other ordered the Big Ed Burger. First off, all four of us commented on how good the sides were. The fries came out piping hot and crispy, and the house-made chips were honestly some of the best I've ever had. The burger itself had good flavor, but the bun was pretty dry and unappealing. With a better bun, I think it could go from good to great. As for the Reuben--the house specialty--I enjoyed it overall, but there were a couple things holding it back for me. The corned beef itself was 10/10. Super tender, flavorful, and absolutely the star of the sandwich. The bread, however, was very dry and crisp, but it had almost no color or toasted flavor to it. My other issue was the sauerkraut. This is definitely personal preference, but I like kraut with more tang and a little chew--almost "al dente," if we were talking pasta. This was extremely soft and mushy, to the point that there really wasn't any texture left to it. With that corned beef, a tangier kraut with a little bite and better bread would make this a fantastic Reuben. That said, I don't want those critiques to overshadow the experience. We enjoyed our food, and the service was great. Nichole (according to our receipt) was super friendly and took great care of us. I also really love the history and character of Jacoby's. In fact, I just recommended it to a family member today. I'd absolutely come back, and I already have my eye on trying the schnitzel next time!
