This place was everything a brewery should be. The bar back, I think his name was James, was awesome. Kind, attentive, conversational, knowledgeable, etc. Thank you! Secondly, the beer was exceptional... their red ale, "Mickey Redmond" was probably one of my favorites of all time. Lastly, and equally as important, the clientele was great! Baffin's is our new favorite spot, easily replacing Copper Hop. It's super chill and genuinely family friendly; the staff totally gets that you can't glue 2 and 4 year olds to a table. This place is the best. :) been coming since the grand opening and am a mug club holder along with literally dozens of my friends and loved ones. Some of the bartenders are the BEST. I don't know a lot of the newer ones, unfortunately, but there are some amazing workers here we have become friends with over the years and these are the people that keep us coming back. I love the beer.... the seltzers are always a favorite. They have the option for slushies, too! I have not yet tried the wine on its own, but I'm holding out for liquor. Baffin cocktails? Sign me up. I don't know if I have a favorite. There was a Pina colada one a few years ago that tasted legitimately like a fresh pineapple and I almost died it was so delicious. They host an art fair that I awesome and I was lucky enough to take part in. I LOVED it. Met some great people and I can't get enough of "craft" type shows so it is awesome to see events like that happen. Food trucks happen all the time, I'd like more variety sometimes it seems its the same trucks a lot, but I'll be honest, I don't really know how those schedules are figured out, it may be quarterly, etc, plans. Some of the food is fantastic though and I've had my share of meals over some yummy drinks. It can get a tad loud in there, but that's usually weekends or later in the evening. I've come here to get business down earlier in the day before, so you can find time for calm there, too. I like the warm industrial vibe. They have had some expansions which is awesome because it can get pretty busy. The patio out front is great cause it's actually open air. The large side patio really is more of an indoor expansion cause I don't know if K EVER see any sides open. I would like it much more if it got some air sometimes. Two of my recent favorites are Roast Malone (coffee cream ale) and Slick Shoes (candy bar stout)., Roast Malone has the right balance of coffee tones with a slight hint of pumpkin. It is SMOOTH. This is the first coffee cream ale I've tried and it is sensational. It's light on the palate but doesn't skimp on the coffee. Slick Shoes is definitely a heavier and richer selection. The peanut flavor isn't overpowering, nor does it taste too sweet. It's a genuine peanut taste. The chocolate and vanilla tones seemed to be more subtle, which I appreciated. Baffin just keeps getting better! My friend informed me that Drangon's Landing was doing a pop up at Baffin and we both LOVE grilled cheese sandwiches. We had a few hours to enjoy some delicious brews and food. I opted for the Cuban and he ordered the Jam On It! His was rather interesting with bacon, Gouda, and yummy tomato onion-jam. We split the tomato soup because what's a grilled cheese without tomato soup??? Right? Lol He also grabbed a Plain Jane to go. Such a nice little brewery! It is a small space, but seating around the bar, a few tables, and some chairs around barrels to set drinks on. We waited a little while to sit down but less than 30 mins and then we were able to get a table for our group of 6. Staff is very friendly. Bar area and mugs provide good decor. Also, would love to go in the summer as the front has garage door windows that open up. Had the mango beer- so good! They also have it available in cans to take home. Highly recommend. For food options, they have popcorn that is goooood- salty and buttery and free! And the night we were there they had el guapo food truck so we got tacos/burritos/nachos. We came here back in 2016 when they first opened, and I really liked it here. But it has changed a bit from what I remember. We tried to do a brewery hop through SCS, but unfortunately the other two breweries were closed. So I guess we will save that for another day. The restaurant is located in an area that is easy to get to. Parking is easy and convenient. They had plenty of outdoor seating set up. The brewery requires masks and social distancing is enforced. I ordered the Mickey Redmond and really loved it. They have a mug club for people who are regulars. They do not serve food but you can order from next door and walk over and grab it. Oh! Best part? A guy shows up (obviously DRUNK) and wants a beer in a mug. The mug # he gave was previously removed due to inactivity. He was belligerent saying he just used it two weeks ago. Anyways, one of the girls went next door to find the "out of circulation" mug. So he got his beer in "his" mug. Then he took the time to ask my opinion. I told him that he got his mug, got his beer, now go join your group. That was met with "fuck you" and more!!! Ok - F you jerk!!! But - what about Baffin today 7/30 afternoon/evening shift?!?!? Why was this asshole served a beer?!?!? WHY?!?!? WTF is going on at Baffin? Call the cops and let them know we are not serving a customer who is already drunk and irate!!!! It's bullshit! A popcorn machine resides along the back wall for a easy snack as you like. When we visited, there was also a pop up food station in the back, if you were looking for a bite to eat. They are open! I ran by pick up a 6 pack of their Mango IPA and it was delicious! This is the only IPA that I have successfully drank with my wife. She isn't much for Hops but the mango mellows everything out. I haven't had a bad beer here. The Paczki beer is also fantastic! Great beer and great people! read more

First time to SCS's and was excited to check out a local brewery with apparent good reviews. Sat down at the third to half filled bar. Had to wave twice and actually ask Hello? to the bartender before she acknowledged my presence (and the others already sat at end of the bar). When I stated being from far away and looking for suggestions, she simply pointed to the wall and said "there's what we have" (which I couldn't read the scribbling) and walked away. The double Mosaic IPA wasn't an IPA at all. The Ruby Grapefruit IPA also wasn't an IPA, but I will admit the flavor was extremely solid. I also noticed the hundreds of mugs and asked how much the souvenirs were. I was told I couldn't buy any no matter how far away I came from, that I had to buy 150 beers in a year. Did quick math that gave me roughly a grand. $1,000 for mug... I know the bartender's name, but I won't oust her here for this poor experience. The potential for this place is there, but I definitely won't be back nor will I suggest it to anyone else. read more

I've dropped my rating one star. To be honest, the place has become extremely popular (crowded) and it has negatively impacted my experience there. There are so many times that I will get there in the afternoon and the place is already filled to the brim with no seats available. I'm not old and crotchety, so not having a seat isn't a deal breaker, but it does change the experience. The place is hopping (pun fully intended) which is great for them, but it is a pain the butt for patrons at time. The waitstaff definitely has to work their butts off as they still staff the place the exact same way that they did when it was a brand new establishment. read more
