Good service , great beer and yummy snacks . Doesn't get much better . Enjoyed the patio seating to get a little fresh air and has a nice relaxing time . Wasn't rushed and loved loved loved the beer . It was the strange fish IPA. Delicious ----slight hint of watermelon . So very refreshing!

Quite possibly the best pretzel followed by the best beer cheese I've come across. Really enjoyed this spot and cannot wait to be back. Not sure exactly why NC and GV are crushing the food game lately but I am here for it.

    Currywurst with potato salad-- YUMMEH!!

Outstanding and friendly service, despite being quite busy. Highly recommend the Currywurst and house made potato salad, and also anything with the uber creamy, delicious beer cheese

We came here on a Friday night for our friend's Bachelorette dinner. The brisket special was delicious with fresh vegetables and salad. Shay and her team provided excellent service and hospitality. Loved the stemless wine glasses, and the pretzel with beer cheese was fire. The attention to detail was appreciated from local event flyers displayed to fresh flowers on the table. Also, if you're a pickle enthusiast this is the place for you.

I LOVE this place. Food is delicious and executed thoughtfully and beautifully (roasted veggie bowl in photo) with a jesters beer. So goooood. The staff are always so friendly and welcoming. The location is also perfect, right down town with tons of outdoor seating on the patio. It's quickly became my fav place in NC.

Everything was alright but when I saw "brewhaus" I was expecting Bavarian style (dark wood, long tables, fireplace, ECT.) this felt more like upscale Ikea or an art Expo. Food was decent, bratwursts were delicious and I loved the sauerkraut the reason I dropped 2 Stars was the potato salad. It was undoubtedly, the WORST potato salad I've ever had. it was unnaturally cold and very bitter, almost like grapefruit skin and been squeezed into it. Every part of my Midwestern ancestors CRIED OUT in agony. aside from that great job.

Barely any customers and it took 20 min to get a beer, and this is what they serve up! A flat beer halfway filled with head, ahahaha, who would work at a brewery and think yep thats a good one to send out lol. What's the point of the waitstaff!? You're not Sierra Nevada or Firestone. Just get rid of them and set up a queue so people can grab a beer, order their food, take a number and find a spot to chill, drink, eat, and buss their own tables. This place is so over thought out it doesn't have to be this bad because it's a rad space, prime real estate, food is decent, and their beer is (normally) great. Hope they figure out their formula and realize it doesn't work. Long story short not the best spot unless you have the patience of a saint and plenty of time to kill

    Rose slushi!! Yyyuuummyyy!!!

GET THE ROSE SLUSHI! You're welcome lol! A great drink on a hot summer! We order the chicken bacon melt with German style potato salad and the smash burger double patty with potato chips and a pickle. The chicken sandwich was good but the potato salad was better with a creamy taste. The beef grass fed patty was so juicy and delicious literally dripping with sauce! The pickle was crispy and sour. Also got Mexican coke which was just a glass bottle coke so it was crisp and refreshing!

This is a new brewery/restaurant in Nevada City California. It is located at 300 Spring Street. This is not to be confused with their brewery which is at a different location. I came in today...march 19th. See receipt. It was a beautiful sunny day and i decided to try this spot. Great find! Beautiful indoor dining area and the outdoor dining area is expansive! Totally dog friendly! I tried the humongous pretzel with 3 types of dipping sauce..one tasted like warm beer infused cheese. YUM! I could only eat a small amount..enough to share between 3 people! They have plenty of beer to choose from along with wine. This is a perfect set up to hang out with friends and your fur baby! Its a very casual and laidback atmosphere. The menu is currently a bit limited but give them a chance because i heard they have more plans down the road. The staff is friendly and genuinely look happy to be working here. Thank you KIERAN for being so hospitable! I will definitively be back for some chili! GOOD JOB AND GREAT LOCATION!

    Stained menu.. :(

The sun was out, we'd done our fair share of walking, and an ice cream cone sounded like just what the doctor ordered. I grabbed a fresh waffle cone loaded with some kind of almond fudge mocha masterpiece don't ask me the official name because I was too busy enjoying it! The boy got something different, and judging by how fast it disappeared, I'd say he approved too. The waffle cone was fresh, the ice cream was rich and creamy, and every bite hit the spot. It's one of those little places that fits Nevada City perfectly simple, welcoming, and exactly what you hope to find while exploring an old mining town. If you're strolling through downtown on a warm afternoon, do yourself a favor and stop at Treat. Cool off, grab a cone, sit on a bench, and watch the world go by. First class all the way. After all... they didn't name it Treat for nothing. Go ahead treat yourself.

We ordered a house sausage pizza and to add the salami to the pizza which was a great choice loved the pizza we watched it get made right in front of us and their bacon and cheddar melt. I personally though the bacon and cheddar melt was fine I probably wouldn't order it again looking back on it just simply on the fact it was $21 and the pizza was $23 it just felt very boring and overpriced in comparison to the pizza. I do love the sustainability of this place but find it odd the water cups are plastic after all the effort put into reusable, sustainable, organic, and farm fresh It definitely eat here again especially with the fact the menu is always changing the pastries here were a hit every other table had something from the bakery or a pizza. This is a great spot to come on a date or with a bunch of friends. I haven't tried the brews here yet but I'm looking forward to it. The staff here are very sweet and food comes out quickly. I paid because I only had an hour for lunch and needed to eat. I got my mocha and sat down to wait for my sandwich. As I waited, I noticed several people who ordered after me receiving their food while I was still sitting there. About 15 minutes later, I finally received my to-go sandwich. When I opened the container, it was obvious it had been sitting there for a while. The sandwich was sweaty, and half of it was soggy. Apparently, they had forgotten to bring it to me. By that point, my mocha was already gone before I had even started eating. The BLT itself was made on regular-sized sandwich bread, and the tomatoes and bacon were good. But $34 for a basic BLT and a small iced mocha is outrageous, especially considering the wait and the condition of the sandwich when I finally received it. I will not be going back. The prices are simply far too high for what you get.

By the time we arrived Sunday, shops were starting to close up. Glad that The Truffle Shop was open on Monday when I stopped in looking for some shade an a cooler spot to be for a bit. The collection of hand-crafted truffles was not only beautiful and wildly unique with its flavor profiles, but complimented by the artistic space of the petite shop. It was all a visual delight, before even getting to choosing the chocolates. As it was a warm day, I didn't order as many as I might have otherwise as I was sure that the truffle treats would melt before we could enjoy them properly - savoring each tasty bite. I did get a dark chocolate/cherry one for me, and Matcha tea flavor for Dear Hubby, who wasn't with me at the time. I had a nice chat with the gentleman running the shop.
