First, the few beers tastings I had they were excellent. Strawberry-Lemonade seltzer was my favorite. The Not Knotts was great, but a bit sour for my tasting. I have been part of 2 different associations that have rented out the brewery twice this season for Christmas parties. We catered each time with Louie's BBQ and he did not disappoint. Food was outstanding. We had brisket, ribs, chicken wings, mac & cheese, vegetarian jambalaya and roasted veggies for those that don't eat meat. The beers were also amazing. Higher Frequency was my go to for the 1st party, but I got stuck on the Guava Fuzz at the 2nd. Both were very tasty IPA's. My wife really liked the Hibiscus Seltzer & the Margarita Seltzer. The entire staff was friendly and provided great service pouring drinks and clearing off the empties. Years past for these events, we've rented out ballrooms/event centers etc. but having the entire brewery to ourselves made for an epic night. It was such a different and awesome vibe/ambiance. The first party we had a DJ and were dancing. We did sacrifice some floor space inside and spent a little extra $$ for the DJ, but people did enjoy themselves while dancing. The 2nd party was much more relaxed. The staff managed a holiday playlist on the house system and that was perfect. They provided a microphone and speaker that was sufficient for our group. For this group, we also brought in a couple cases of wine (for a corkage fee) for any non beer drinkers. Samantha was the event coordinator and she had been helping me coordinate these events for the past 9 months making sure I wasn't forgetting anything. Overall, it was a great experience, and I'd recommend it to anyone looking to change the scenery of their standard company holiday party. Fantastic beers, friendly service. Our bartender was welcoming and encouraged us to sample as many beers as we wanted before choosing one. I ended up choosing the shoheim, a Japanese lager - crisp and refreshing! My fiancée got the peanut butter and jelly golden ale - always blows my mind how breweries get beers to taste just like the namesake flavor - could distinctly taste the PB and also the J - serious Willy wonka magic. Brewheim is one of those large breweries located in an industrial park. There's a food truck out back, the inside has large TVs and the outside has glass fire pits which really made me want to come back on a cool evening. It was pretty mellow on this particular Sunday afternoon and I was surprised there weren't more people. They have lots to choose from and as most breweries are doing these days they also offer a few flavors of hard seltzers. My friend really enjoyed the barrel-aged barleywines and I went with a few flights to try the breadth of styles. I actually preferred their lighter offerings like the Boysenberry Blonde Ale, Boysenheim and the Tropical Blonde, Island Breeze. I cannot emphasize enough how GREAT Brewheim Beer Makers is! I was looking for a brewery that would allow for reservations to celebrate a birthday. I sent in an inquiry and was working closely with Jackie. She was so helpful throughout the entire process in explaining all the details, keeping me updated, and following up with me for any pending tasks. We were able to reserve the patio area for a 3-hour private event (birthday celebration) for about 20 people and were able to enjoy the evening playing some card games and chatting away. We were able to bring in our own food to munch on as we chatted. After the 3 hours, we were able to still stay on the patio, but that it would then at that point open to the public. The beers throughout the night were SUPERB! A favorite was the mango hard seltzer, but I really enjoyed the Boysenheim (Blonde Ale). There were a few other beers that I would also love to come back in and enjoy. All-in-all, would highly recommend Brewheim for a quick stop-by or for any casual events you'd like a more chill vibe for. read more

What a hidden gem this brewery is! I hadn't really heard about it and it's kind of hidden away, but we recently moved close to here and it's a great spot. We've been twice so far and both times I had a flight with different selections (pro tip: I used the Notes app on my phone to jot down the ones I've tried so far). They have a wide selection with lots of variety. Luckily it's not one of those almost-everything-is-an-IPA breweries; they really seem to have something for everyone. Some of my favorites I've tried so far include the Blackberry Saison, Ruby Coconut Red Ale, Boysenberry Belinger Weisse, and the Blood Orange Wit. What's cool too is that they have different food trucks everyday of the week, so you can grab a bite to eat and have different options each time. They also do trivia on Thursdays, which we did once. I don't know if it's always like this, but the night we went, it was pretty difficult, so heads up. Inside is pretty large, with lots of seating and offers a pretty chill environment. We recently held out baby shower at Brewhiem. We contacted a lot of places and Samantha was quick to respond and made the whole process easy, even setting up time for us to come check out the different spaces and sample some of the drinks. The venue offers so much flexibility- we reserved the lounge, which includes the back room , 2 high top tables and the secondary bar area, for 4 hrs and our party ended up staying later past our time and over flowed into other parts of the brewery which was okay with Brewhiem. We did catering through the food truck they had prearranged and were able to bring in our own snacks/appetizers/decorations. Samantha even made arrangements for us to arrive early(prior to opening and not included in our paid time with the reservation) to set up and decorate. We originally expected between 30-40 guests but ended up having 70+ folks show up so the flexibility of the venue was much appreciated. With our reservation of the venue we also prepaid for beers for a select number of guest vouchers at a discounted rate and Samantha let us add to that amount later on. Many of our guests ordered their own drinks from the vast selection there, and unfortunately some of our guests may have ordered a few too many and the Brewery followed up with us to make sure everyone got home safely. We would definitely recommend to anyone this location to anyone looking to get a drink with friends, watch a game, or for hosting events as the price point and flexibility was incredible to make it a fun and pain-free planning experience as a host. The staff has always been very friendly and suggested some great beers. Right now my absolute favorite beer is the coconut Amber! It's delicious!! In a close second is the raspberry blonde. Just like Kasey D. said in her review, I was disappointed in the flavor profile of many of the beers this place had to offer. I love visiting new breweries in the area and showing my support and this place was no different. The space was huge with an ample amount of seats, the music was perfect, the vibe was sweet, and the employees were all smiles. However, in my opinion, their brews need some work. I tried all their IPAs and none of them seemed like they were balanced. So I tried a stout and it wasn't the greatest either even though their menu has a ton available. I am always a fan of new breweries and must check out what they have. Brewheim is an absolute gorgeous venue and they must have had some money to get this place started. Exposed brick wall, beautiful decor, nice seating, and well designed bathrooms. The only let down right now is the beer itself. If you want an average beer, this place is great. Their "West Coast" IPA needs some work (among others). It's quite a malt-bomb for a WCIPA. If you want something a little more craft and dialed in, go down the street to one of the other 5+ breweries nearby that make you want to hang out and drink (if only they had the space like Brewheim does!). Visited this place on Super Bowl Sunday after Yelp sent me the suggestion. It's a decent sized place, so finding a place to sit was easy. Two large televisions, which you can see well from anywhere you sit. They don't offer food here, but they did have a vendor there that day and I saw a bunch of snacks brought in by others. It may have been because of the game, but this place gave a big family-oriented vibe, whether it was all the people in Brewheim shirts or other visitors that day. Groups had their babies and I brought my son with me. They offer wifi, so you can definitely connect a game console and enjoy a beer. The service is also really good, whether it was making sure we were good on beers or taking the empty glasses away, someone always came around to check on us. Beer wise, my friend and I went through two flights...vanilla milk stout, mocha milk with peanut butter, hazy IPA, west coast IPA with and without coffee, blonde with rasberry, were some of our tasters. Honestly, they were all pretty decent beers. I'm a big fan of IPA's and stouts, so this place definitely a nice new brewery to finish. I backed this place with their original indiegogo campaign where you could get double your money's value and was happy to see this place open. While I still support them and think their style, vibe, and location is POPPIN', the beers do feel kind of hit or miss here too. A handful of them are yummy, but most of them really fall flat for me, though not in any kind of egregious way. Just like...they're doing lots of experimenting and need to dial in this and that to get things right. But when I come back months later it feels like they've moved on to different beer experiments, so I never know. Still as long as they got a solid beer or two I'm enjoying this place and it has wonderful ambiance and people are happy and friendly here. I could not be any happier that Brewheim Beer Makers just opened their doors right next to my complex. What makes this place even more exciting is that two of their owners learned the brewing craft right in my home town Munich and Regensburg. Location: Hidden away between apartment buildings and warehouses you wouldn't guess finding this hidden gem in this neighborhood but I am glad they did. Atmosphere: Nice and spacious layout with great decor. Service: Given that this is more like a bar service is spontaneous and without any delay. Food/Drink: There are plenty of different beer to chose from the tap and so far every beer I have tried rocks. The Lager right now I would say is my favorite beer on draft and it is spot on with the German Reinheitsgebot or the German Beer Purity Law as you might know it. It has a nice flavor and taste to it and it is probably the closest you can get German Beer right now here in Orange County. There is not food served inside the brewery but they do have different food truck vendors outside on the weekends. Please make sure you give them a try, you won't be disappointed. I'll be back. If you're a fan of stouts this is the brewery for you! Place is very nice inside. They have a couple of large rooms where you can sit, while packing another room in the back for standing. Could be great for a party. Location was somewhat hard to find as the GPS sent me to an awkward location. The place is in the back. Parking isn't too difficult to find. I was amazed at how many stouts they have to offer. Most of them are variations of the mocha milk stout, but they all have a distinct flavors. I had the joy of trying several with a flight ($2.50 tasters) so there were some favorites. My favorite was the regular milk stout. Bold stout layered with sweetness. The mocha milk stout was also delicious, and not as sweet. Vanilla mocha milk stout is the sweet one of that variation. I thoroughly enjoyed the barrel aged stout, which packs a punch. If you're not into stouts, the hazy IPA was also tasty. I'm glad to have found another brewery in the area. Will be back! read more

Visited Brewheim as it was the last stop on our private brewery bus tour. They had an outdoor tent patio with TVs, which was nice. We got there 30 minutes before closing time, so they weren't serving any food. They allowed us to order a few beers and everything I tried was great. My favorite beer that night was the PB and Banana (Elvis tribute)...you could really taste the peanut butter and bananas and it was super unique. Their seltzers were also really good! I noticed their taster cups were super cute and they told me they're on sale for $5 or the pint glasses are $10. What a steal! We bought a few to take home cause they were just too cute. My favorite were the cocktail drinks. I tried all three of the cocktail drinks, and I would say the best one was the mojito. They are all 14% but you can't really taste the alcohol, so it definitely catches up to you. I also had a couple seltzers and they were either hit or miss depending on the flavor picked. read more

We had a great time at a theology on tap event here last night. The presentation was on the shroud of Turin and the space was very accommodating. I typically do lambic's at home but the closest thing they had was a fruited sour. I really liked it because it wasnt overly fruited. That really ruins a sour for me. We've been wanting to try this place for awhile, finally stopped by. Walked up and ordered at 9pm, asked if they offered flights. The male beertender said "last call is in 15 mins and we stop doing flights 15 mins before last call". This is the first time I've ever had a brewery do last call 45 mins before closing. The industry standard is 30 mins before closing. We ordered Tru Blue and Lager than Life. He then asked if we wanted to open a tab--which was a weird question if last call is in 15 mins... anyways, the environment and atmosphere is really aesthetically pleasing, beer was decent (flavorful and accurate to being a strong lager and blonde). Service and first impressions were very off-putting. I'm big on first impressions and great guest service, but disappointed that our expectations weren't met tonight. read more

Every time we come, we have a great time. It's nothing exciting and we don't come on event nights or game days. We just come in when it's quiet and kind of empty and enjoy a few pints. The bartenders are always friendly and the space is so spacious and clean. The woodwork is also beautiful and construction is solid. Taco truck outside on most nights is good and the people are really friendly as well. The beers are great. Nothing tastes thin or rushed or cliche. With so many beers to try, you never get bored, and though I don't like all of them, they do all taste interesting. I can't say that I've been to a brewery and tried everything they had on offer and not tasted one pour that was boring, and that is the greatest sin in food and beverage: to make something boring. We are sad though that the nitro milk stout is gone. Very sad. But hopefully soon something equally as wonderful will replace it soon. (All their nitros are gone actually as of our last two visits.) This is a very cool brewery with great beers and great vibes. I tried the mango fuzz IPA and it was very refreshing. The tasting room is pretty big with lots of tables and space. A big plus is that this is a family friendly place, i was able to bring my baby and there was enough space to park a stroller without it being in the way of other guests. This is a big plus for me that the tasting room is large and has a lot of open space. There is also a patio with outdoor seating. On a Friday night, there was a great food truck and live music playing! Loved the atmosphere here. Will definitely be going back! read more

This space is incredibly comforting. Most of the time when an old school brewery is open, you find them in office spaces. You'd be lucky if you find a clean bathroom and consider yourself winning lotto if you find a separte men's and women's door. But Brewheim started out top notch. I did sort of regret not getting into their Indigogo campaign where you basically buy a card and get beers for half the price because their beers are terrific here. Derek the brewer does amazing beers, and personally the Stouts here are my favorite. The Mason Collab here is fantabulous, probably the stongest ABV beer in house. Dan and Eric are awesome here. I met them back at one of the Yelp beer and donut events and a few other times at Beer Events as they were pouring. But besides that, the different varieties with saisons, witbiers, ales, IPAs...there's something for everyone here. Even for the non-beer drinkers, there should be something here you will like. Oh, you can see your beers on the TV screen from Untappd. Way cool. Parking in the front is limited but they do have spots in the back and there's an entrance from the back towards the counter. Great spot to pre-game before concerts or games in Anaheim. Not quite walking distance but pretty darn close. Just make sure you eat somewhere else. read more
