We tried the garlic cheesy bread. If you don't love fresh garlic, don't order this as it's got a heavy dose of garlic on crunchy, delicious bread. We really enjoyed it. Very good selection of beers as well as higher end wines than a lot of breweries offer. We liked the place so much, I bought a cute woman's t-shirt to remember our fun time here. There was a workshop happening that evening about bat conservation, it was interesting. I later learned that they host different community workshops once a month. They also host different events, like a running club, yoga and trivia nights.

The mustard with the pretzel was great though. The burgers were a mess, and were not even patties - just chunks of ground beef held together with cheese. And it didn't taste like a burger. It was simply awful. We each took a bite then walked out. Fortunately you pay and order at the bar before you even sat down so we could just get out of there. The hose made kettle chips they advertise with Wop's seasoning - we literally saw the cook open a large bag of store bought chips and sprinkle pepper on them. We went somewhere else to eat after this. We're really own upset that they marketed their food as something it was clearly not. If you're all about the beers this place would probably be good. Just don't order food. Except the pretzel. That was decent.

I knew that Hollerbach's had a brewhouse where you can purchase everything you need to become a home brewer but I had no idea that they opened up this little taproom inside. They offer a variety of beers - Golden Lager, German Fest Beer, Irish Red Ale, Hazy IPA, Cran-Apple Sour, Double IPA, Belgian Tripel Ale, Belgian Strong Ale, and a Nitro Imperial Stout. They were also carrying several other local breweries brews, and they offer flights if you want to sample a little of everything. Pricing is on par with most other breweries in the area and you can even purchase smaller samples $3.50-$5.00 depending on the brew. I ordered the Krampus Belgian Strong IPA ($7.50) in spirit of the event going on and the guy at the counter gave me two cups half full. I asked him if he did that because of the foam and he said it was because they are 8oz servings due to the ABV percent is high. I understand that but why are you giving me two? He didn't say anything and said that would be $16.05, WTH?? Nancy was not happy with is nonchalant character all but I said, you know what I'll probably drink both anyways so no big deal, but honestly that is not an acceptable business practice and they guy just basically ignored our dissatisfaction at the situation. I admit that the beer was delicious but the employee's ownership of his mistake or ignorance to what just happened was a big turn-off. Great job on making this delicious brew but good luck keeping customers coming back with this guy running the tap and register.

The person who served us was really nice and had us sample as much as we liked until we found the taste we wanted. I forgot what it was called - but we got the Lager and IPA. Since it was an event, it just came on a plastic cup, making it easy to hold. It was a great fruity drink. I forgot what kind of berry they used, but it was pretty sweet and enjoyable. The bourbon they used was indeed high quality as the booziness lasted almost an hour. Though, thankfully I was still good enough do two rides on the mechanical bull and last for a decent account of time. And what was amazing about the drink was the cost, just 8 bucks! I would have expected to pay at least 10 dollars or more for a great quality drink for a special event, but 8 dollars was quite a steal. While I didn't go inside the restaurant/bar, I just enjoyed the outdoor entertainment at the strip mall, and tried the cocktail. Because of their excellent quality of the drink at the event, I definitely need to visit inside and try their beer selection as well in the future.

The BEER: Dead Cow milk stout 6.4% ABV... like sweet cream with a hint of espresso PB & J Seltzer 5% ABV... I don't really like Seltzer, but I LUV THIS SELTZER!!! Festb33r pale Lager 5.9% ABV... this is like a light marzen, quite delicious Oktoberfest 5.6% ABV... ain't no way this could be any better.
