I usually have no problem with their food but last night was an exception (Fri Apr18-2025). We were a party of 6 (4 adults 2kids) Me and another adult ordered the seafood chowder. The waitress came back and said the only had one bowl left. After a while she came back and said that they got more so we each had a bowl of seafood chowder. A few hours later my stomach was nauseous and I vomited & couldn't sleep all night. The other person in my party also ate the seafood chowder & felt sick a few hours later. Burgers are good However, this may be personal preference only but they use Ken's tartar sauce and as soon as I put it in my mouth I spit it out. Why use a very controversial tartar sauce? It's a brand that is known to have a lot of haters (including me now). The Cole slaw I felt Tasted horrible. However Cole slaw is made so many different ways and people enjoy it different ways so I'm sure some people like it. To me however it tastes like it has the same crap as the Ken's tartar sauce in it. We eat here often and i have to say 99% of the time its the best in town. All out servers are polite and friendly. The beer menu is hard to beat ,always some great selections. I understand its under new management now but if anything its even better than before. The food is reasonably priced and tasty. I've ordered food to go 3 times from here and every time I came to pick up my food it was a wait with an attitude. I either got a dirty look from the bartender, or a busy hostess who was busy being busy. I stopped spending my money here. We lived in the area for 4 years, and I'm disappointed that we hadn't tried this place sooner. The atmosphere is nice and relaxing and is very family friendly. We were waited on right away and the waitstaff checked in us throughout the night. All the food came out at once and it was hot and fresh. The burgers are some of the best in the area and the wings are great without the same ol "coal cracked" and "old bay" seasonings. I can't believe I haven't rated Brewser's yet! It's my go to when I'm in the area. The food has never disappointed and we often order lunch and catering for the office from here. The craft beer selection is phenomenal and the restaurant and bathrooms are always clean. Food can take a little while for it to come out but it's worth waiting for. My only suggestion would be to add a few more keto friendly items to the menu but what they have now can be modified if necessary. read more

All previous meals at Brewsers were delicious and the menu had fantastic choices. My last visit there may have been my last ever. The menu has changed and although some good choices appear there, it's not terrific. The food I ordered was ok but wouldn't recommend it. Butter soaked, way too much butter on the pasta. According to my friends, the prime rib special was nearly inedible. As for my salad, I didn't get croutons. There was an extra charge for croutons. Unreal. When the charge for a meal is $15 or more and 3 or 4 croutons on a side salad is extra? What a disappointment. read more

I really have to comment on a review I read regarding a waitress named Felicia and the food being inconsistent. I have a salad there EVERYTIME I go there. It's cranberry with nuts and with Chicken Monterrey and blue cheese dressing. I order the same appetizer EVERYTIME I go there "Brewsers Pretzels". Very good hamburgers. Pleasant bartenders especially those with first initial M&M(obviously two bartenders). However, many wait staff are too moody and immature. They don't fit the restaurant. I know the owners of this place, that's why I'm posting this-to help them fix this issue. The other issue they have is food quality-too many "bought in, predone, foodservice made items frozen and reheated items-prime rib, soups etc. You guys can do much better. My first visit to Brewser's, second for my hubby. After dinner, I'm sorry it took us so long to try them. Our meals were great! I had a Chicken Monterey sandwich with Onion Rings. My hubby had a Crabcake Sandwich with Onion Rings. My sandwich was a little messy to eat but very tasty. Next time I'll have the sauce on the side so I can control the drip factor. Hubby could vouch for the lump crabmeat being used as good as anything in Maryland! Both orders of Onion Rings were perfect and stayed hot thru to the last ring!! I hardly ever finish my onion rings but these were especially good. We did not have any alcohol but I'm definitely going to order something from their large selection next time. And there will definitely be a next time! And besides the good food and drinks....the rest rooms are spotless!!! Worst wings in the area - I had to send mine back - and horrible service. Don't ever go when it's crowded. We went there for my mother's birthday on a Monday night, and all four out of four of us were very disappointed in the food, let alone the service. We waited for a table, and then it took an entire hour for the food to come. When it did, my wings were uncooked - yellow and soft, not brown and crispy. I didn't even try one, just sent it back. My sister's wings were still undercooked, but not so badly as mine. My dad's chicken parm was okay but meh, and my mom disliked how very greasy her wrap was. By the time my new basket of wings came, my family was done eating, so I took them home. Oh, and there was no discernable sauce on either my sister's or my wings, might as well have been plain. If you're going for anything, go for the excellent beer selection (and maybe the burgers), but be careful about the food, and don't bother with the wings. read more

I've eaten there several times. The food was never consistent and most of the female wait staff are rude and do not know how to handle complaints about the food. The few male wait staff are much more willing to address the inconsistent food issues in the appropriate manner. It's unfortunate that Brewser's is one of few restaurant's in the Shamokin area. This is the 2nd time that my fiancé has taken me to this place. The 1st time I wasn't impressed because the ceiling dripped water on our table,but I was willing to give it another chance. This time, we had a dry table, but the service was so slow I just wanted to up and leave. The food and drinks were good, don't get me wrong. But, waiting for our meal for about 15 minutes after we had our soup and salad and then waiting at least that long for her to come back with the check once we were finished, and then another 10 minutes or so before she actually came back to pick the check up and process it.
