From the moment we arrived, we were greeted by gracious host, Marco, whose warmth and hospitality set the tone for our entire stay. The staff's attentiveness was remarkable, ensuring that every need was met with genuine care and a smile. The ambiance of the inn is simply enchanting. The perfect landscaping surrounding the inn is a testament to the owners' attention to detail, with lush gardens and meticulously designed pathways that create a picturesque and inviting atmosphere. Beautiful sounds of nature surround the property, creating a serene backdrop that perfectly complements the impeccable taste showcased in every detail of the decor. Personal touches, such as hand-written notes and thoughtfully curated local artwork, made our stay feel uniquely special. Every detail, was thoughtfully considered, creating an experience that felt both personalized and magical. Our room was a stunning blend of elegance and comfort, complete with upscale toiletries in the bathroom, luxurious bed linens, and plush towels that added an extra touch of indulgence to our experience. Upon returning to our room in the evening, we were greeted by the delightful scent of fresh linens and subtle hints of essential oils, creating a calming, aromatherapy moment that made us feel immediately relaxed. This property is a true sanctuary for relaxation. It felt like we had stepped into a dreamlike storybook, where every corner held a new charm. One of the many highlights of our stay was the delicious homemade breakfast made by Angelo, which featured not only an array of artisanal bakery treats but also savory options that were simply mouthwatering. The staff even remembered our coffee preferences, ensuring that each cup was just to our liking. Each meal was served with adorable serving dishes that made the presentation feel like a work of art, enhancing the overall dining experience. And here is why…read more First of all the inn is beautiful, well appointed, and the building and grounds are well manicured and taken care. Second, the innkeepers themselves are very friendly and accommodating. Marco, Angelo and Steffi are delights to be around and talk to. They are more than willing to share their insights into activities on the Cape and places to visit. They are fonts of knowledge. As well as fun to talk to. Third the breakfasts are exceptional. Angelo is the master chef behind a varied and healthy breakfast. It was a treat each morning we stayed. A fruit course followed by the main breakfast. Fourth, speaking of treats. Each afternoon a small box labeled with our names with a bake good of some sort was waiting for us in the inn. They were delicious and much looked forward to. Fifth, the sleeping room was spacious with a very comfortable bed and a small but adequate bathroom. We had access to an outdoor veranda/porch sitting area, which we took advantage of each day. This small inn is a real treasure in Brewster. I highly recommend it.

Horse and buggy used to go down this road???!!!! I found out what the difference is between an inn and a bed and breakfast. The owners, Brian and Charlie (AMAZING INN-KEEPERS!!), have captured what it is like, to be visiting the Cape, and resting a day or two before continuing the journey towards the horn. I could go on, but please... Spend a day or two on the Cape and relax in their authentic, and super quirky Inn. You will not be disappointed!

Brian chooses the best, sweetest, largest strawberries available and dips them in homemade chocolate sauce (not hardshell candy). They are served with small plates, forks, and cloth napkins. A heavenly touch to an already wonderful night's stay. ***** This was our 5th visit to the Old Manse Inn. I've written positive reviews before, but I wanted to write an update to point out that the Innkeepers are constantly improving the inn - making each subsequent visit special. I've been to other inns and hotels, and noticed how they can stagnate - but not so, with the Old Manse Inn. Refreshed rooms and baths, updated linens and furnishings. And they have added living quarters for seasonal staff - a bonus on the Cape! The staff are always thoughtfully interviewed before hiring - and they are friendly and meticulous in their work. You can see they are loyal to the inn and the inn's clients. Breakfast is especially wonderful, given my wheat allergy - there are always options.

Since…read moreit was a private retreat, we had our own chef (lobster dinner!) and meals provided by a local chef. There were seven of us and each of us had our own bedroom and private bath in the remodeled bed and breakfast inn. The Sea Meadow Inn was the home of Captain Isaiah Clark, built around 1783 on Route 6A, the Old King's Highway, in the town of Brewster which was often called the Sea Captains Town since so many built homes there. Now it is a bed and breakfast and each of the seven rooms has its own personality. I slept in the Jeremiah room, which was the room of Captain Clark's son Jeremiah, who scrawled his name on the attic door, and the name is still visible on the attic door! There is a large kitchen and sitting room in which we all gathered, as well a patio, a huge lawn with chairs, as well as a fire pit. I was there in October, but remnants of flowers were abundant in the gardens surrounding the house. The house has the floors, fireplaces, and nostalgia of an earlier era, but the private bathrooms and bedrooms are all nicely furnished. It's a magical place and I highly recommend it if you are looking for a place to stay in Cape Cod.

On my last trip in March, they upgraded me to a large room with faux fireplace and a really nice bathroom. There are so many little details that they thought of to make their B&B special that I always find something new and interesting about the place that I didn't know what there - cookbook, book note, water color pictures, things around the living space, etc. Breakfast is amaxing in the morning and seriously almost gourmet. The hotel is billed as the only Vegetarian B&B on the Cape and that's why I love them so much. There's a candle pin bowling alley nearby, as well as bike trails, lake/ponds to kayak in, and other uniquely Massachusetts places to shop. Not sure how much longer they're going to be around, as they are looking to sell their venture, but if you're planning a trip to the cape anytime soon, check them out and I'm sure you'll get the same great experience that I received. Our room was clean and spacious. Toiletries provided were very nice. There was ample towels and ample pillows and blankets for my liking - something I think many places struggle with. Independent room temp controls were perfect and allowed us the cold sleep we like. Water pressure in the shower was absolutely top tier. I wish I could get that at home! The bottle of wine and happy birthday message was a beautiful touch on arrival. The check in, parking, and navigation of the grounds was very easy! The grounds are gorgeous. The pool, the fire pit, the yard games, and the goats on property were all fabulous touches! We picked this place due to its proximity to Mayflower Beach which is our favorite place to be. I couldn't be happier with how high end the decor was. The grounds offered a beautiful appointed swimming pool, plus an area for evening fire pit fun. I never found the goats unfortunately but I'm sure next time hopefully I will get to know them. Overall, our accommodations were 5 star quality. The bedding was as comfortable as any 5 star hotel I've stayed at. Located on 6A , a beautiful route with the best experience of old cape cod homes and scenery. Ice cream shoppes, clam shacks, antique shops and shopping for cape cod artifacts were noted flanking both sides of the route for tourists. A continental breakfast was served in a picnic basket was an added touch. Muffins, yogurt, cereal were served on a sunny patio or bring your basket to your room. For me I was very pleased with the hospitality offered by Phil, very easy check in and check out. Better yet we went to a very famous breakfast restaurant on the cape called Grumpy's which is across the street from the Hotel. However, Due to lack of Parking at Grumpy's, Phil allowed us to park on site despite that we had checked out. Very kindly indeed. This is a family friendly spot that will offer everything necessary for a comfortable time while visiting Cape Cod. I'd give it 5 stars .
