Do yourself a favor and stay away from this place. Their service people are incompetent or outright liars. i took my 2020 Explorer in for a seat belt recall and they broke my liftgate. First off it took them two weeks to do a simple recall job and then since they got no money from me they broke my liftgate trying to get me to pay for something. It's been nothing but a hassle dealing with them and now I worry about what work was done or not done and how well. it started with waiting weeks and weeks to get a rental, which was filthy once received... to taking extra days to make the repairs and running through half a tank of gas while the car was supposedly being worked on. Now I find repairs listed on my invoice that were never discussed with me or likely not done on my car. When calling to get clarification, I was told a return call would be made but no one has returned my call yet. Now I wonder if these repairs were submitted under my warranty but not for my car. read more

Salesman Dominick was actually very helpful so 5 stars to him. Helped me with my purchase and kept updating me. Now for the service department, I am a Lead Technician at the shop I work at. And I have NEVER taken longer than 2 days to do a diagnostic, the service manager told me it would take 3-5 days to even get an answer. I called not too long ago for an update, almost a week after dropping my truck off and she lies TWICE to tell me that the person in charge of looking at it hasn't come in yet. Third time I called she tells me that the truck hasn't even been looked at since LAST week. I was originally told all it needed was a recalibration for the sunroof which by the way the sunroof wasn't working even after making me wait 3 extra days because of some "inspection". They replaced my battery and lied to me about what the fix for the sunroof was. I would NOT take your car here for service, the salesmen are very helpful and transparent, but I have never seen such an incompetent service department. Only reason why I haven't looked at this issue myself is because I paid the truck in full and I still have to deal with the BS of having issues with it, the audacity. read more

Brewster Ford not only damaged my car seats, but completely wasted my time and failed to fix the very issue I originally brought the car in for--my radio syncing problem, which is still unresolved. To make matters worse, they gave no apology, no real effort to make it right. Just deflection and excuses. Then there's Franco, who was flat-out rude and dismissive throughout the entire process. Highly recommend Brewster Ford. I walked in and customer service introduced me to my sales rep Tim. He was funny, knowledgeable, just a really relatable guy. He walked me through their inventory, and we began test drives. He worked with me on the price to meet my budget. We submitted the paperwork and within 48 hrs I received a call from Brian in the financial department. Another great employee, he was knowledgeable and patient. He explained every option and choice I had to make very well. I felt no pressure and picked the options that worked best for me. From the time I walked in to the day I drove away in my car was 3 days. They did everything, got me the best financing, handled my insurance, they even detailed a car that I already thought was perfect. When I went to pick it up it somehow looked even better. Terrible service, I mean "no service". I made an appointment for an oil change. I arrived at the right time, checked in, and said I would wait for the car. I was told it would be about an hour. I walked down the street had a cup of coffee and checked back in at the service counter about an hour and 30 minutes later. I was told by the 2 service agents at the desk, not the same one that checked me in, that the car had just been taken in for the work. I said I would wait in the waiting room ... and an hour later (2 and a half hours since dropping the car off) I went to the service desk to see how much longer ... the car had not even been pulled into the garage bay nor work started yet. I took my keys to leave and expressed my dissatisfaction to the Sales Manager Brian, who apologized with weak platitudes. I will not be going back to Brewster Ford. read more

Super Shea Not sure where the nickname came from, but promises made are not promises kept. Leased a Ford Edge back at the end of June. Right before an out of state move. For some reason, the dealership had no floor mats. Requested them, went to pick up low and behold no floor mats. Super Shea promised they would be mailed to our new address. After approximately 1 month no mats. Contacted Super Shea again. Claimed they were sent. Asked to check tracking. Was told there was no tracking. Curious to know which shipping company does not provide tracking. After a couple weeks asked if she could contact a Ford dealership near our new home and we could pick them up. We purchased a car through brewster Ford a couple weeks ago. If your looking for good customer service after your purchase save yourself the time and look elsewhere. You won't find it here. A few hours after taking a vehicle home, we noticed one of the key fobs wasn't working. I then put in a new battery but it still was not working. We called Brewster Ford and spoke to someone in service. They said we would have to bring the fob in to get reprogrammed to the car. However, they were going to charge us $200 to do it. We then called the manager Mike who sold us the car and let him know that the fob they gave us wasn't working and we were instructed to get the fob reprogrammed. We told him that we were also told we had to pay $200. He then said well most used cars don't come with 2 fobs anyway. We said well you sold us the car with 2 fobs, if one didn't work then you should have only given us 1 fob and not sold it as 2. He then pulled up are deal agreement and told us because we got such a good deal, they can't reprogram it for us and we would have to pay. I mean come on seriously? So we are being penalized for a sale they agreed to. We expressed our frustration and Mike informed us he would speak to the owner and get back to us. We never heard back. We called again the next day and left a voice mail. It's been a couple weeks and never heard back and continued to call and leave a voice mail. Only thing that salvaged a star was our sales person Matthew was actually great, easy to contact, and straightforward. went to brewster with my 2007 mustang gt was told i needed right side ball joint, i had a credit from an extended warranty i purchased and returned from a mustang i bought there in 2018 when they were done the bill was 900 dollars. what they did was pad the bill to exhaust my credit i had and i still had to pay additional 400. after calling another ford dealer the entire bill should have been 400 dollars for the job, so now they took my credit owed me and charged me four hundred, so my credit was not honored at all. thieves!!!!!! read more

Since I got my car I have nothing but problems and today stopped in for them to look at the exhaust that's broken and trunk latch won't work, they opened trunk it won't close and then said we closing g and roped my trunk closed, light won't shut off battery's gonna die and rain will get car soaked, it's not even 2 yrs old and saying trunk not covered, waited 3 weeks for service only to be told no loaner I work buttheads!! I had my 2021 F150 into Brewster Ford 4 times for different alerts that I was receiving. Some of them were pretty serious. I had camera faults that were shutting off my pre collision alert system. 2 Times the truck battery appeared to be completly dead and wouldn't accept a jump. It had to be towed twice. Although Brewster could see the codes popping up in history my service advisor told me that unless the pop ups occurred while the technician was driving, Ford won't reimburse them. The parking lot at Brewster is terrible. The lot is too small for the amount of business that they do. Trucks and cars everywhere parked on top of each other. They managed to damage one of my wheels on my truck and they agreed with Ford (who I complained to) that they would go half on a new wheel. I called 3 times and they never ordered the wheel. That is not cool. After the 2nd tow I decided to change dealerships. I went to Shaker Family Ford in Brewster. The service advisor there recognized me, she use to work at Brewster Ford. I have videos and pictures on many different faults that came up on the truck screen. As a matter of fact I showed them my alerts from Ford pass. I had 109 of them. That's right 109 alerts with most of them confined to 3 different problems. The story is that Ford had TSB's for every fault. They didn't replace any parts, they just uploaded software. One fix took 6 hours to upload. They had the truck for 7 days and they put me in a brand new Navigator for those 7 days. I felt like a valued customer for the first time in a long time. I have only had the truck back for 3 days and so far so good. The customer care and professionalism at my new Ford dealer shows how bad my old dealer was. On another subject, Brewster had a Ford Bronco on the lot that I was very interested (Nov of 2021). It was $15,000 over MSRP. I told the salesman that was not a good business practice and that was no way to treat an existing customer. I was told, not a problem, someone else will buy it and I am sure that he was right. That still doesn't make it right and even Ford frowns on that practice. read more

Worst service ever! Went for a tire problem. Charged me over 2300.00 told me I was all set. Two weeks later I notice that my tires are original. They xharged me for 4 new tires and never put them on. Did they do the alignment with the old tires??? They charged me for that too. What about the control arms??? Did they do anything they charged me for. Fords answer, "It won't happen again. " No apology for all the extra inconvenience, no nothing but come pick up the car it's all set for the SECOND time. Really how the hell do I believe anything you people say. Started with having an appt on day one. Showed up from over an hour away and the salesman and truck were not there. Salesman scheduled the appt on his day off. Ended up getting dropped off at their sister store with a different salesman to look at the truck to find the truck wouldn't start. The salesman and I tried for awhile to jump it with a pack and then had to wait even longer for someone to come pick us up and bring us back to Brewster. Came back the next day with no apology except from the salesman I had the day before , just a low ball offer on my trade including $1500 taken off for tires "even those there's meat on your tires and it passes inspection but the next customer is going to want new tires". Tires are perfectly fine, i'm not responsible for paying for your next customers tires. They also install lojack in every vehicle in case of theft on the lot. They give you the option of paying $700 to keep it or paying $200 for an hour of service to remove the option they installed! They need to find a new ringmaster at this circus! Probably one of the worst dealership experiences we've had while looking for a new car. The salesman didn't seem too interested in his job, they had minimal vehicles on their main lot and kept saying all the vehicles are at their storage lot down the road. In reality who do you need 20 pick up trucks in your main lot, do you really sell more of those verses crossovers and cars? Didn't realize everyone was that rich up here. Had three crossovers in their main lot, all three were identical. How about getting various models? The showroom is very outdated, small and musty. They were all of out brochures and the salesman didn't even have a business card. He gave his name and number on a sticky note. I placed an order for a new transit with brewster ford in September was to be delivered on January 2 according to ford tracking website. Today is January 9 and the people at brewster ford have no clue where or when my van is going to show up. They have been unhelpful and seem very unenthusiastic to help or find out where it is. It is horrible customer service and would not recommend anyone to purchase a vehicle through them after my experience. Even the sales manager had no answer for me. We leased a truck from here in 2016 and were extremely happy with the experience we had. When our lease was over we just couldn't get a ford into our price range and had to go with a competitor. When we turned the lease in there was a major discrepancy regarding the original contract and mileage allowance and Neil, the GM, handled it with great professionalism and honored our contract and paid for part of the discrepancy. My wife had a good experience with a flat tire that was serviced by Brewster Ford, but it appears to be a one-time thing as I have tried to set-up an appointment to service the car (Ford recall) and no one responds to my messages. I had 2+ hours of me and a friend's life wasted by a totally incompetent salesman at Brewster Ford. I spoke to the guy multiple times on the phone about a 2006 Pontiac Vibe that was amazingly in my price range (no more than $6k). He CONFIRMED that the car was available and that I could come check it out. So we drove an hour over to Brewster NY, only to have that idiot bring up a Pontiac G6 that was in terrible shape (chipped paint, dirty, etc.). When I told the guy it wasn't the car I had been wanting to buy he tried to make it sound like he had done nothing wrong, referenced an internet inquiry that I NEVER submitted (must've been another person), and proceeded to tell me the vehicle I'd wanted wasn't available (aka sold). He then spent 10 minutes trying to sell me $9,000+ cars, including asking "so you like Dodge?" and after I said no, tried to offer me an $8,000 Dodge Caliber. (?!) Then after I repeatedly said my budget was $6k MAX he tried to sell me a 2008 Toyota Matrix that was $11,500!!! Talk about the antithesis of customer service. I wasted so much time on that trip and rather than driving away with exactly the car I wanted, I'm back to square one. read more

Good service and proactive. I bought a new Escape last March and started bringing it back to this dealer for service, despite there being 2 Ford dealers closer to my house. I did this because of a warranty guarantee they offer. The first service ( oil change ) was a little rough and I'd read some bad reviews, so I was concerned. But I kept going back and things got much better. So I had an oil change recently on a Saturday and Dino asked if I could bring the car back in a few days to check something more thoroughly. I brought it in today and they found an issue that requires a follow up visit. Dino helped me with my odd work schedule and is providing a loaner when I drop off my car for replacement of a part in question. There were no messages on the dash or app and I hadn't noticed any issue myself. Brewster Ford Service found the issue before it could get bad and made a plan of action. Good service! read more

I've purchase 5 vehicles from Brewster Ford and had excellent service from my salesperson, finance, sales manger and service department in the past. The last 2 vehicles were noting but disappointments. Due to so much staff change. - We traded in a car and received collection calls and had to make a payment for a car we no longer own. We had 2 weeks still to pay the payment when we traded in. They had 6 weeks to pay it off. - Leased a truck and paint came off pillar. This was covered under warranty. I scheduled to have this fixed while I was on vacation. Came back to the paint was bubble. Area was not prepped correctly. The sales manager Elijah was suppose to take care of it and get it re-fixed. Made several calls and sent several emails and it is now over a year and its still not fixed. - There has been a ton of turn over with staff and not for the good. I never in the pasted received harassing calls about your lease is coming to the end, come on in and we can talk about a new vehicle. Some of them were very bold and bossy. I called them and told them I know when my lease is up and I do not need another vehicle and every other day I still get calls. I scheduled to turn in my vehicle and still getting phone calls. Really must be nice you have nothing to do all day and harass people all day. - In the past year I always left feeling I got a good fair deal on any vehicle I purchased. My last purchase there manger Nick was a complete old school sales person and wants to make his pockets thick took $100 off a vehicle. Are you kidding me I purchased 4 other cars from them. - Do not get me started on the service department you purchase a $70,000 vehicle and pray they do not scratch it or they fix it correctly. I had to switch my dealership for service and lease a different brand truck. Sad they were such a good dealership, very friendly and family oriented and now that is gone. read more
