First impressions: Parking is tough. No lot, just curbside parking on the street. If it's busy, you're gonna have a tough time. Luckily, we beat the dinner rush and parking wasn't too bad. I had a buffalo chicken baked potato and my wife had a potato with just cheese. They were a decent size and cooked well. There was an error with a salad for another member of our party...however, the server went out of her way to fix it for her even when our friend said she would live with it so she didn't waste food. I enjoyed craft beer as well...delicious. In the end , everyone enjoyed their meal...and that's kind of the point. It wasn't over the top special, but it was solid. Really great local tavern with options for everyone. I visited with our family and a lot of picky eaters, and everyone was happy. I had the Hawaiian salad. At first I was unsure about the chicken since it was so dark, but it looked that way because it was marinated in a delicious sauce. It was a great size and I loved the white balsamic vinegar with it. My husband had a baked potato and I was jealous - it looked amazing! I'd love to come back and try one of those sometime in the future. We did not partake of the beers but the selection was solid. The service was a bit slow but it was super crowded so it wasn't a surprise. I would definitely come back again and try more of the menu. read more

I only go here cause my parents always pick it. It use to be good but now it has gone downhill. The steak in my salad was overcooked. We ordered clam chowder and it was so watery and gross. Nobody wanted to eat it after the first bite. The portion sizes have only gotten smaller. We use to get the shrimp app and we ordered it this time and now it extremely small. The ambiance is loud and crowded. The service is just okay they are usually so busy so it hard to get help when needed. Like during this time our guy was the bartender too so I bet that was hard for him to do both at the same time. Also food came out at weird times. Like our soup came last after our meal. read more

The bar height is higher than the stools making eating very uncomfortable. The Buffalo wings are grease sticks. Even after ordering extra estra crispy, I'm not sure they were fully cooked Hot buffalo sauce is mild. The location has potential but food, seating, and atmosphere need improvement. read more

I came in around 1:30 on Monday 7/27 with a friend and we sat at bar. The bartender (blonde, curly hair) greeted my friend and I and I waived hello. She said "did you just waive at me?" I thought she was joking so I just smiled because I waived right as she was looking at me. So she took our drink order and when she came back around later she asked about food so I waived and I tried to order the food and she said "I hate when people do that, one thing at a time, typical guy". So my friend and I looked at each other wondering if it was a prank. It wasn't. She passed us at least a half dozen times and never took our order. I didn't order food thinking a toxic person like this might have them spit in my food anyway. So I called afterwards (no intent to have rational convo with irrational employee) and spoke with manager Ryan and he said he'd speak with her. As to whether he does is debatable. She was rude to other people at the bar hopefully they let her go soon. "My Way" was definitely "her way" I highly recommend coming at a time when this person isn't working. You never know what you're going to get with a tavern. Luckily, they were great, even on what I imagine is one of their busiest nights (St Paddy's Day). The live music was good and so was the food. My son had the Classic Mac, and the few bites I tried were delicious. I had the buffalo wings with raspberry chipotle sauce. They were crispy and fresh. Food was not as good as last time I went and I ordered the same sandwich, French dip. Couldn't find onions or cheese on one half. Husband's salad was very good. My Way Tavern has their third location in Fuquay-Varina. My mom and I stopped by to check it out and snagged two seats at the bar. It was a mimosa then a beer for me and a beer for her. The selection is good, I went with one of their IPAs. For food it was a cup of chili for me and the chicken fried chicken with mashed potatoes and a side salad instead of the green beans for my mom. I personally did not care for the chili, it was too meaty. My favorite menu item is the chicken fried chicken but you also can't go wrong with one of their sandwiches. read more

I try to support local businesses when I can, so I stopped in to the new-ish My Way Tavern here in Fuquay yesterday for a late lunch. I'd been to the one in Holly Springs in the past and was not impressed, but thought that might not have been a fair assessment since it was then football season and the place was full of drunk, rowdy 20- and 30-somethings watching games. That was not the case yesterday, fortunately. However... One positive: the Fuquay location seems to be much bigger than I recall its H.S. sister being. The lack of a rowdy crowd, however, was made up for by ear-shatteringly loud music. Since I appeared to be the only patron that seemed bothered by it, I - a 65-year-old woman - concluded I was just not part of their target demographic. They did make an excellent hotdog - grilled and on a toasted bun. If they had outdoor seating (without speakers to blare the indoor music), I would probably go back just for that. But sadly, no. First time to My Tavern since they opened in Fuquay 1. Service was in point. Amy, our waitress, was probably the best waitress we've had in a very long time. 2. Food came out fresh and hot. The tavern fries were my favorite 3. Cocktail: had the one with coconut rum and strawberry puree. It was great. (Can't remember the name) 4. Beer selection: too many IPAs. Need more pilsners and crisp light beers on draft. 5. Patio seating will be great in the summer with the screened in porch. Even with the heaters it was a bit cold. 6. Main Bar and 2nd bar seating is great and warmer! At the 2nd bar you can have kids sit there as it is really only a long high top table. 7. Parking: street parking only. This occurred at lunchtime. Waited for a min of 5 mins. to be seated. She asked if a bar height table was ok - I said I prefer a traditional table. She sat me at the bar height table. The waitress was kind. The sandwich was served on cold ciabatta bread (Turkey & cheese). The bread, turkey and cheese were all COLD - should have been a hot sandwich. Have you tried to eat refrigerator cold ciabatta bread? I pulled the turkey and cheese off of the bread and just ate the turkey and cheese. The homemade chips were ok. The waitress knew I was not happy with my meal and she offered nothing, no apology or an explanation. My meal about $17 I gave her a $20 and left. This was the 3rd time I've given them a chance. I'm a fan of the My Way Tavern in Holly Springs, so when I heard that the ownership was expanding to Fuquay, I had to try! The new location is brand new, so it's clean and modern in appearance. We had our choice of inside or outside dining. The temperatures were perfect for outdoor dining, so the hostess led us to the enclosed patio area. There were lots of tables in the outdoor area and several TVs for football viewing. I ordered my favorite, the Bogart (a grilled chicken sandwich with a slice of pineapple). It was as delicious as every Bogart I've ever ordered at the Holly Springs location. My dad ordered the Hawaiian Salad. He loved it. The service was flawless and the kitchen times were admirable, which impressed us considering this new location has only been opened for three days. This new My Way location might just be my new favorite area restaurant! read more
