The Bloody Mary is not my favorite, but I've also had worse, it's very middle of the road. They have a decent beer selection and lots of bar/casual dinning options to choose from. They cater and they host private events - I've attended a work lunch here that was casual, but nice. Met friends here for dinner on Sunday night and very short wait. The service was excellent, helpful and friendly! The portion sizes were fantastic and food was delicious. They started with the pretzel appetizer and the buffalo chicken dip. Loved that the waitress offered half chips and half pita for the dip (I'm gluten free!). I got the reuben without bread and it was absolutely fantastic. The sweet potato fries were pretty mushy but it is what it is! Everyone's entrees were all appetizing with no real complaints. The beer selection is ok, I had hoped it would be better with more seasonal items but the cocktail menu was nice! There were 8 of us - I made a reservation in advance and I am glad I did because it was busy on a Sunday evening. I had their spiked lemonade drink. This is a great place to come watch sports and just get some bar food. I got the Craft club sandwich and it was hefty. As you can see from the picture it's very well filled. The sweet potato fries were slightly soggy, which is why I'm taking off one star. The sandwich itself was delicious. I love that they also give you a pickle spear because the acidity balances out the heaviness of the sandwich and fries. We recently tried CPH for dinner with the family. We all got something different and I think we were all a little surprised. My daughter got the quesadillas. The portion size was great and she was able to get two meals out of it and she really enjoyed them. Our son got the spaghetti and meatballs. He felt his meal was just ok but was also able to get two meals which for him is very rare as he is am a to e 13 year old. My husband had the meatloaf and was surprised by it- another two mealer! This is my go-to dinner spot. Yes, it can get crowded but the bar is self seating as a back up for couples & singles. All of the food is great. We particularly love their wings, pretzels, BLT, Mac&cheese, and burgers. Service is hit or miss but I've never had a reason to not come back. read more

Not a good experience for us. The shepherds pie had crunchy /undercooked veggies but the flavor, beef and mashed potatoes were good. I felt like I only ate half of the portion since the vegetables were not edible. The waitress was aware but offered no compensation other than ordering another entree. My husband got the country fried steak and wasn't impressed. The steak was overcooked and he didn't care for the gravy at all, which completely covered the meat and mashed potatoes. Again, the waitress did not ask why he ate so little of his meal. I felt the prices of $19 per plate were steep considering we didn't finish the food. We have been here once before for dessert. While the cheesecake was good, the price was higher than typical dessert at other restaurants. Overall, just a disappointing and expensive date night for us. read more

Adding to prior reviews again since I live in another state but keep finding myself wanting to visit here of all places in the area. I called ahead and spoke with Rafi just to confirm someone could wait on me on the patio as it's raining cats n dogs and I was afraid I'd be a bother, but of course she was friendly and accommodating and walked me back upon arriving. So pleasant and happy, she was. I had my dogs with me which made it a no-brainer to come back here given the full-sized covered patio in back. 5 stars still I must say...they just don't miss a beat--though I did have to shift to a Jack & Soda over a Jack & Coke as they are Pepsi peddlers (only bad mark--heh, heh). Joe was a great server and his suggestion for the Cubano was a winner! He also let me know of their dog menu so my dogs each got a salmon filet with their bowls of water! Joe was on it--no one on the patio but me, but I was checked in on frequently. Just great service! Good food is nice, but I think I keep coming back here for the service. UPDATE: I recently visited Craft Public House after work with some friends and had another enjoyable meal. Seated quickly with no wait, we had a nice high top table with plenty of room in the bar area. The menu is still extensive with many items to please almost any palate or like as far as American type restaurant/bar food fare. We decided to start with their homemade pretzels with mustard sauce and cheese sauce. I do recommend this one, so fresh as well as delicious. I say try both sauces to get the best experience as each offer a great but different taste profile to be enjoyed. For my meal, I went with the Grilled Chicken Orzo pasta selection, menu described as "marinated, pan-seared bone-in chicken breast over creamy orzo pasta with sautéed spinach, tomatoes, mushrooms and shallots." When it arrived, it looked good with a substantial portion and it tasted just as good as it looked when I dug in. I was pleased that the sauce was not a heavy one giving it a lighter than expected (in a good way) finish. All the flavors together were enjoyable and I was satisfied with my choice. Great food and service! Well I ate there four times this week so they must be doing something right. I had (in no particular order) the corned beef hash and eggs, chicken fried chicken, prime dip and the bbq burger. All were recommended by different servers, all were delicious and the portions were more than enough. The fries were definitely on point. It is a sports bar ish but I think they have another room that is quieter but I was fine with watching random sports on the TVs. Service was awesome. They have an in house(?) bakery so everything was fresh. Drinks excellent. Fortunately in an area overrun by chain and mediocre restaurants, there is a place like craft public house where one can find a good meal. Nestled in the heart of chaos, this restaurant is a bit of a whirlwind, a culinary circus if you will. Reservations are wise, since the tables are full, the bar is booked and the waiting room is full. Luckily the staff, are great hosts, friendly, fast and attentive, they definitely know how to run the show. Here you will find a quesadilla that dreams are made of, not the usual culinary tragedy wrapped in a stale tortilla with edges that are usually dry and cracked, like it's been left out in the desert sun for days with an inside equal to a sweaty pile of sadness. But the star of this evenings show was the shepherds pie! The braised pot roast was moist and delicious, soaked in a wonderfully balanced gravy that complemented the beef perfectly, excellent entree. But of course they just have to tease you with their decadent dessert selection, conveniently located at the front door of course. Well go for it, I did and both cakes were delicious. Inside was kind of loud around the bar area but the outdoor patio was a perfect place to have a nice meal and conversation. 70's quietly playing in the background. Had dinner with colleagues tonight. We were promptly greeted and brought to our table. This is a sports bar kind of place with multiple TVs and ample sitting. Very relaxed vibe. I had the holiday bash which was a dark ale. It was very yummy. And for reference I like dark beers. It had a chocolatey coffee taste to it. But it went down well. Then I had a caprese chicken burger The chicken was a little dry. But the flavour was good. The herb butter broccoli tasted more like steamed broccoli and it could be better with a little more salt. They had a whole display of desserts. We ordered a few desserts to share amongst us. We had the oreo cheese cake, the new york cheese cake and the mini dessert flight. Their cheese cakes were all good. The mini dessert flight consisted of white chocolate Raspberry cheesecake, new york cheesecake and a peanut butter cloud pie. My vote goes to the peanut butter cloud pie!!!! The white chocolate raspberry cheese cake could do with a bit more Raspberry taste to it. It tasted more like white chocolate cheesecake. My favourite is still the peanut butter cloud pie. The service was fantastic. The server kept checking back to see if we were ok. One of my colleagues ordered the blackened salmon salad which was not cooked to her satisfaction - it was raw in the middle. And that was taken off the bill when we informed them of that. We came here and had to wait a little bit for a table but not bad. There was plenty of room on comfy benches for us to sit on during the wait. After we were seated we were greeted right away by our server. She gave us lots of time to go over the menu as we couldn't decide what to have. We finally put in an order for pretzels with added queso. Finally decided on our real order and added an additional pretzel. They were really good and we needed more as there were 5 of us in our party. Everyone enjoyed their meal. I had Not Your Mommas Meatloaf which was served with veggies and mashed potatoes. It was very tasty and filling. I have half of it to take home. My Dad had the Shepherds Pie whicj he devoured so I'm guessing it was yummy. My sister had the maple chicken salad whicj she really enjoyed. My one nephew had the chicken pot pie while the other had the Craft Club sandwich. The chicken pot pie was steaming hot and looked really good. He enjoyed it after he let it cool off a little. The first sign that his place was pretty good was that it took driving an extra lap around the building to get a parking space on a Saturday afternoon. I don't know who designed this ridiculous parking lot, but the fact that it's one way traffic is rather annoying! So we walked in immediately I was seduced by the dessert case. Thankfully, I was able to resist the sweetness. We scored two seats at the bar, which wasn't easy as the restaurant was on a wait. We both got a house salad. The tomatoes and cucumbers were thinly sliced and presented nicely, it wasn't just a bunch vegetables thrown randomly around in a small bowl. Very fresh, and the red wine vinaigrette had a tangy flavor. We split a couple of sandwiches. The prime rib deep was being enjoyed by our bar neighbors and this at time I did get convinced. The roasted beef came with sautéed mushrooms, caramelized onions and provolone on a toasted baguette with ramekins of au jus and horseradish. Excellent stuff, great flavor, well proportioned ingredients. I also was a big fan of the turkey pesto. Good quality roasted shaved turkey with lettuce, tomatoes, bacon, avocado and fresh mozzarella on a toasted baguette with pesto aioli. The fries were very good, cooked crisp, but needed a little more seasoning. Also, I liked the bar. With the dark woods, it had a classic feel to it, many TVs around.
