Every time I go sit at the bar, it takes a very long time to get the waitress to get my order just for a drink. I'm not asked if I want a menu, and she never comes back to see if I'm interested in ordering food. It was difficult getting her attention just to get my check for one drink. I felt ignored by the bar waitresses for awhile... too long to even be recognized. Finally, I was able to order my drink and meal. What I ordered did not come out like it should have. I ordered ahi tuna from the appetizer menu and a Caesar salad. They over cooked a big piece of tuna. It was not seared like tuna should be, it was cooked too long. We were a party of 10 so the chance of things going awry was high at 7:30pm on a Friday night. How delighted we were! Everything was perfect! First, we called for a reservation but they don't take them. We told them it was a part of 10 and we'd be in at 7. But they made no promises. We arrived after 7 and were immediately shown to a secluded table, which was awesome since we had two small children. We were near the golden tee- an unexpected bonus. We also had a tv above our table, which they happily turned on the Phillies game! The service was quick and miraculously our server didn't write a single thing town and she got EVERYTHING PERFECT, down to the condiments. Service was excellent with a very attentive server. Food was amazing! I had their Ribeye. It was cooked perfectly and had wonderful marbling. These guys give you an actual Ribeye. Not like some other restaurants that tries to sneak you a lesser cut of meat. My dining partners had the Barnyard burger and the Baby back Mac. Burger was very very good! The Baby back Mac was "the best Mac and Cheese I have ever had!" This from an 64 yo, so high praise indeed! Dessert was the apple cake w ice cream. Probably not the best choice on the menu. It's not often you find a good bar with a great salad. This is a perfect spot for a beer and a salad as crazy as that sounds. They have plenty of other options as well that are more along the traditional bar menu. Very laid back bar vibe and the service can be spotty at times where you may have to find a server. 100% have to have the fried banana peppers and the Rachel salad as it comes with the chipotle raspberry sauce. read more

Didn't everyone have mac? Didn't your friend say how great yours was for his kid, the one sitting next to you at that moment, with just the plain mac this time? (Why wouldn't the kid order it again? You tell me.) Okay, so you did like the food. I guess you're saying you don't remember the service being so great there, just average overall. I know you like BBQ and drippy cheese all over your mac. And oh dang the kid didn't finish it all so you just went and had even more. And that's getting to you too, huh? That you needed that extra 1/3 of a portion to really feel satisfied, so maybe the portion was a little undersized for the price? I mean, there was other stuff on the menu. I've lived in the area for a few years and finally ventured to this place. We went on a very busy Friday night and didn't have to wait more than 10 minutes. The waitstaff was very efficient and super attentive. We did sit outside both times, there were some flys but not much they could do about it. Now the food! The pretzel bites and beer cheese...where has this been all my life? Amazing to say the least. I was not expecting this to be that good but it was delicious, great flavor and surprisingly not too heavy. Second I had the Cobb salad. Yes I had a Salad at a bar/tavern but it was a darn good choice. You cannot go wrong with a salad with friend chicken, bacon, egg and ranch right? It was huge, filling and super delicious! The food is great- the service can be inconsistent a few times I've walked in with my wife and we were forgotten about sitting at an outside table. C'est la vie I guess- this place is popular. We tend not to visit too much because I'm too old to be ignored and there are plenty of other great spots. Before you think this is the rant of a bitter male Karen- it's happened three times. We arrived, we checked in inside, and we waited outside seated for 20 minutes watching everyone around us being served. The food is really good though, and if you sit inside we've never had this problem- no matter how busy they get. It's a bar- it can get a little noisy inside but it's a fun crowd. I bookmarked MYT on my wishlist forever ago not knowing that it would be a perfect option for my friends B-day. Actually, I saved the Raleigh location and we ended up at the Holly Springs version. (Look forward to also going to Raleigh's) Turned out to be a great decision. Located in the heart of downtown HS which has become a vibrant, bustling, festive town. On this night, it was adorned with Christmas decorations and it felt jolly. We arrived at MYT around 7 on a weekend, and even though they were busy we were greeted and seated promptly. It is medium sized with ample seating, bar, table, and booth availability. It is your typical sports bar with many TV'S and bar decor. They do make a point of highlighting their local presence by showcasing businesses Tee's on their Ceiling! Novel idea. Tate was our server and she brought the noise. Bigtime. Perfect combination of service and attitude. She took our order: B-day boy had fish&chips, his better half the mona lisa salad, and I channeled my inner 10 yr old with Tenders/fries. We were all pleased with the qualtity of our food and portion sizes. Mona lisa salad left us smiling. Menu is extensive and everything is reasonably priced.
