Probably not sell cars that shouldn't be on the lot in the 1st place bought a car July 2 I reported issues but was told it's ok "we sold you a good car" n by July 3rd I reported the same issues have intensified. However this was already an ongoing issue. I had to take my car to MY mechanic, had a diagnostics done n nothing was good re the cars performance. The car had engine components on a fritz, the catalytic converter needed to be repaired, a basic oil change, fan belt, to name a few things. Went to their mechanic shop n was told by the heavy set guy there was no issues. He also broke my seat I couldn't drive my vehicle for 2 weeks without any back support which is also very dangerous. The PSI sensors were all needing to be replaced as well. I had to bring up the FACT that there's a reason every vehicle needs them due to safety. The car was unable to make it up the wrap around going towards goldendale. The vehicle had an issue going from 40 to 55. I almost died well test driving to Goldendale bc I couldn't merge properly due to the vehicle not picking up any speed. I was told by mechanic n Dylan "it's a 4 cylinder what do you expect?" Finally I was able to get a mechanic look over and again was told that there is no issue finally in mid August the mechanic finally recommended a replacement of catalytic converter. However, I was told by Dylan "it's a recommendation it doesn't mean you need it replaced we sold you a good car, your car is good" so I drove it n week later vehicle completely stopped. Mind you the mechanic lied saying he test drive the vehicle past the 40 mph he only took it down the street. I know this bc I watched him he was back in five minutes. I've been without the vehicle for months now and lost my source of income due to not having a reliable vehicle to go to work so my payments as of November have been late even though I've made every other payment on time. I have a medical condition that is required me to make sure I have a vehicle so I can make my appointments but to know avail have I had the general manager contact me after numerous attempts to get in contact with him through the office or Dylan. I should have read the reviews with regards to this location but to be honest with you I went to Brian Harris due to his daughter and her being a DV victim because I was one too. Not one phone call has been made since the vehicle was dropped off which I had to pay for because they did not care to even help me until finally Nikki who is extremely rude and unprofessional to say the least stated I could get a discounted rate even though they have their own truck to do so and that's how they get their repos. I was most definitely sold a lemon I have three different mechanics that have told me so and I have the paperwork that states so. I think anybody that has been blessed to get a card that runs decently with them is cuz you had more money down and better credit that's just how it works in little locations like this and now I see why Bill Harris finds it offensive to be compared to his family. And I most likely going to get a rebuttal regarding this review because everybody becomes defensive and unprofessional the minute they're called out for their unethical policies. I however hold every single bit of evidence and proof I need for every word that I've spoken with regards to this car lot at this point I just want my money back so that I could go buy a car from a dealership that has more of a reputable and moral ground to their customers. I have sent contacted the attorney general's office and filed a formal complaint with the Better Business Bureau I am hoping that i become a small statistic in getting Justice with regards to the business dealings with this dealership. Had this vehicle run properly they would have never heard a peep out of me with regards to how the vehicle was sold to me. However with all the mechanical issues I have to emphasize on how badly this vehicle was when sold it had dust as if it was taken as a trade in the day before this vehicle had no oil change it was completely blown dry the lights were lit up on the desk and I was told that they were all to be reset and everything was fine as a woman it's very hard to trust anybody with regards to doing business especially buying a vehicle and I think that with me not having a man with me that knows vehicles I was done in disrespectfully by this deal. I just want to resolve but I also want to warn people that this is not the place to go if you are looking for a vehicle I suggest you just keep saving so that you can put more of a down at a dealership that's reputable. Be careful and read the small print. Bought a car for 10,000 put a down payment of 3500 come to find out I was charged almost $6000 in fees. Not ok! They don't go over the paperwork with you they quickly sign your initial over the computer. If you see this stop them and ask them to explain everything to you. Just bought a truck March 9 2024, after driving out only worry we had at the time was draining of the sunroof. Come to find out after getting inspection done by Ford and another business multiple things that need done but minor due to year/milage, but what really ticks me off was both front coils are broken and someone either sprayed painted to make things look clean and new in which I won't say they did it, as they just got the truck in, but if it wasn't for the need of the truck. I would later up and use the lemon law and return the truck. The only reason I'm giving three starts is because of the customer courtesy from Mr. Billy who didn't push or rush anything and about the only person I would deal with from. As any dealership style about getting customers to buy and move on to the next. Otherwise respectfully take the vehicle to the dealership for inspection before purchasing. We purchased a used Audi from Brian Harris and almost immediately began experiencing serious mechanical issues. Right after purchase, a chain oil warning appeared. We were told by the salesman that it only needed to be reset and to take it to their mechanic. Within days, the warning returned and the oil level was extremely low. Over the next several months, the vehicle was brought back repeatedly for oil and coolant issues. A leak was eventually found and repaired, but new problems kept appearing. We had the car for over a month before we could drive it consistently, and even then it was only usable for about 10 days total. The most concerning issue was when their mechanic left a hose unplugged during a repair, causing the vehicle to overheat and shut down while we were driving with our child. This was a serious safety failure. After continued problems, we finally took the car to an Audi dealership. They found a long list of issues, including problems that Brian Harris had claimed were already repaired. The total cost of repairs was close to $10,000. While part of this was covered by the extended warranty we purchased, Brian Harris refused to assist with the remaining costs and stated they only wanted repairs done at their own location to control labor costs. No rental car was provided, and no effort was made to make the situation right. We also requested the original inspection report from before the sale and never received it. We understand that buying a used car comes with some risk, but repeated mechanical failures, unsafe repairs, and lack of accountability go far beyond that. If we had not purchased the extended warranty, we would have been left with nearly $10,000 in repairs in addition to the full auto loan. Based on our experience, we cannot recommend purchasing a vehicle from Brian Harris. Most importantly do not trust in a family member when dealing with purchasing a vehicle because in the end you are just a sale for his place of work. We had not wanted to believe what others in community had said about Brian Harris cause we felt we would be taken care of by our sales man Ruben Escobar but we were wrong. Man this place has really gone downhill! They treat you like gold to get you to buy a vehicle and then completely screw you over after the fact. I did everything right, bought a car there, bought the warranty, brought it back for all of my service. They won't help you with a loaner to drive while your vehicle is broken down, I had to rent one, they won't help you out when it keeps breaking down over and over they just keep taking your money, they won't even consider trying to help you out even when you are polite about it and just asking for a little help. DO NOT do business here! They sell garbage and then you're stuck with it! I've never been treated so poorly or been so disappointed by a business. Shame on you Guillermo! This is the most unprofessional and worst run dealership in the county. They used bait and switch on my unknowing son. Told him that the car he looked at was sold but they had one just as good. Only trouble was the other car had over 200,0000 miles on it. My wife and I took my mothers car out to see what it was worth. We were told that the person was busy but would be right with us. I recently bought a car and I told them up front that it was my first time financing a vehicle. Instead of focusing on customer service they only saw $$$$. The next day I started having issues with a flat tire. It ended up as a dented rim. I spoke to thier service department that told me that wouldn't be covered. I spent almost $1000 on cheap rims, replacing the tire that was damaged by the rim, and new sensors. When I went to the dealership to refund my service policy (that wasn't explained as optional) I was met with pouty unprofessional employees. I also wanted to cancel my maintenance contract and gap insurance but they money guy couldn't handle the workload. I walked away. If you need HELP buying a car dont go to these people. Family friend purchased a vehicle from Brian Harris. Truck ran no longer than 4 months dec-March, dealership had it in their care 2 times for "repairs" within those 4 months. Truck gave out completely with no warning on freeway. Dealership no longer wants to help even though they put hands on it. 2 years ago I asked them to match a price on a 2013 Fiat Abarth used with 7k miles. I bought the car sight unseen. They disclosed the scratches and other issues that they knew about with it. I drove 3 hours to get there, they had the paper work and everything ready to go. The transmission was bad on the thing but it would have been hard to tell that it was a transmission issue and this was a problem with this year/model of car. Lucky for me it was under warranty so Fiat replaced it. They were pleasant to deal with and I would buy a car form them again. read more

wow what crooks. The vehicle we bought listed for 19,500 wound up costing over 27,000 by the time they got done adding on bullshit they lied to us about. Then we get a card in the mail stating we can pick up our license plat but owe them an additional 80.00 on top of the 195.00 we paid for licensing. Went here with cash in hand to buy a car. I asked the salesman specifically if there were any recalls on the car. He assured me there wasn't. I pulled the carfax on the car independently (they don't use carfax apparently) and saw there was in fact a recall, and one that was still open with no solution. I would never buy from there. I've heard that they hide things from their customers, but seriously?? A recall is the dumbest thing to hide from someone. Salesmen need to be taught how to be upfront and open with their customers. Rich at Brian Harris referred me to Joel's Tire (in Selah) for an alignment issue as I am told that they have a "special relationship" with them. Go to Joel's only to find out that I need new tire rods before they can fix the alignment. A week later, I take it in to get this addressed and picked up the car from another lot Brian Harris has. The alignment was not fixed so I took it to Les Schwab to get it finally addressed. Well, I am told by Les Schwab that the inner tire rods were never replaced and if they were not, then an alignment could not have been done properly. Confused and angry (I paid half of the cost with Brian Harries picking up the other half) I called Rich (the salesman I bought the car off of) and he told me that to go back to Joel's to get it fixed, again. In short, I said no and demanded to see the receipt of the parts they ordered to include the history of the alignment being fixed. Rich declined, so at this point as you can imagine I feel ripped off and stolen from as I paid for something that could not have possibly been done. At first we were confused by the no haggling the price you see is the price you get, but after going to several other used car lots in Yakima and Selah we went back to BHUC. The truck we purchased was in great shape, but was making a weird noise, we took it back and they fixed it free of charge. About a month later the "service engine soon" light came on. I called on a Saturday and they told me to bring it on in. The problem, a tiny hose was worn. They fixed it on the spot, once again free of charge. They are friendly, have excellent service and stand by the vehicles they sell. Worth the drive to Selah to buy a car. I would recommend them to everyone I know. read more

I lived in Yakima for about 4 months in 2016 and had my car stolen out of my driveway. It was involved in a car chase and accident, and was totaled. I only had liability insurance at the time so I got nothing from that situation, I had to pay the junk yard to take the car off my hands. I was 24 years old, I was living paycheck to paycheck and panicking because I work in ellensburg and needed a vehicle immediately. I went to Brian Harris in Selah and told them about my situation and did some car shopping. They were friendly, but sold me a 2010 Chevy equinox with 160,000 miles on it and told me the car was in good shape. Since I bought that car, the time chain went out within the first 5 months and I had to have that replaced, my transfer case blew, my head gasket, and a number of other things. They sold me a lemon for $11,000. About $16,00 after all the taxes and fees. I was super stressed going in to car shopping after my crazy morning and day full of bad news and I admit I wasn't a smart first time buyer. I will never send anyone to them given how badly they screwed me. I have put THOUSANDS of dollars in to keeping this car going, I can't get rid of it because I owe too much, all that I have been paying on it since I bought it is interest and money put in to fix it. It has caused me so much continual stress the past almost two years now. Really unfortunate experience and I hope this doesn't happen to anyone else. read more
