Dr. Reagan's clinical work appears to be of high quality; however, my concerns relate to scheduling and administrative reliability. My initial virtual consultation was missed by Dr. Reagan, which required me to reschedule. After the consultation was completed a few weeks later, I scheduled surgery approximately two months out. One month prior to surgery, I traveled from Northern California to San Diego for a required in-person appointment. While I was in flight, the office cancelled the appointment approximately two hours beforehand. Upon arriving early for the appointment, I was informed it had been cancelled because Dr. Reagan was at his other practice in Orange County. Given the short-notice cancellation after significant travel and the pattern of scheduling issues, I determined it was no longer appropriate to proceed and began seeking care with a different provider. read more

I had four procedures with Dr. Reagan; a breast reduction, a breast lift, 360 Liposuction, and a tummy tuck. I am in my early 60s. I had read some reviews prior to choosing Dr. Reagan after my consultation with him and his assistant. I felt confident that I had chosen the right surgeon. I am 4 1/2 weeks post surgery and I'm very happy with my results! I leave in 3 1/2 weeks for an extensive international trip that is going to require me to be active and I'm confident that I will be able to do so. Dr. Reagan says I can get back into the gym and start lifting weights but has cautioned me against core at this stage. I was off the pain medication after two days. I never was in a lot of pain. I was just uncomfortable the first week. My tips for these procedures are: 1) the first night you must have someone available to help you go to the restroom, etc., as you will not be able to get out of bed on your own 2) schedule the surgery at a time where you will not be missing out on some of your favorite activities. I scheduled in early December. I would not have wanted to be recovering during the summer months. 3) Research /read/Google/YouTube what to expect in terms of recovery so you are fully informed. There's a lot of content out there that's helpful. I would 100% recommend Dr. Reagan and his team. Post surgery I have a weekly lymphatic drainage massage with a practitioner that specializes in post surgery patients. I am a week post-op from my second breast augmentation from Dr. Reagan. First surgery was in 2005 and was only saline implants. This time I had a lift and silicon implants. I am more impressed with Dr Reagan now than after my first surgery, although the first was fabulous as well. I have one small bruise on my left breast and can tell that the scars are going to be minimal. I was off narcotics in 3 days, no drains and the pain was manageable. I did interview several surgeons for this second surgery and felt most confident with Dr Reagan. He made me feel like a friend, not a patient. My review is a bit late but very relevant. Dr. Reagan is by far one of the most talented plastic surgeons in SoCal and his service and results are top tier. I've been to his practice in La Jolla many times over the years for small procedures with excellent results. I have seen his more formal work on others, which was impressive, so when it was time to do a consult for a Facelift--Dr. Reagan was the one. Dr. Reagan greets with a warm smile and is personable and professional. He takes pride in his work and takes time to educate his patients about the risks and rewards of a procedure, and offers solutions or alternatives. I had BA by Dr. Reagan several years ago. I went to him to replace silicon implants I had done 20 years prior. The reason I had the revision is my original implants were over the muscle wall, which wasn't as natural of a look as when they are under the muscle. Mistake! He totally ruined my breasts. First, the post-operative care was terrible. He didn't even see me and had an assistant remove a drain for my tummy tuck. She did not deflate the bulb which was painful. I could go on but the bottom line? My breasts are uneven and not asymmetrical in shape and badly scarred. I am now having to spend thousands of dollars because of a ruptured implant and to correct his butchering. Do your research. I regret not having had done mine. read more

My first visit with Dr. Reagan was back in 2012. I needed to replace my saline implants. They had displaced. I originally visited another Dr. who told me a bunch of scary stuff about my implants. Not only did he need to replace them, but he said he would also have to implant some mesh material to hold them in place, at a huge cost! Thank god I got a second opinion!! I was first treated by Dr. Reagan in 2004 in the emergency room. I had fractured my nose and had a sizable laceration across the bridge. Dr. Reagan manually straightened my nose and sutured the laceration. The sutures were so fine that it is difficult to see any residual scar. I returned to see Dr. Reagan during the spring of 2014, as my 57-year-old eyes were looking very "tired." After assessing the cosmetic issues which were bothersome to me, he formulated a surgical plan, carefully explained what he planned to do and outlined the potential complications of the procedures. Blepharoplasty (with brow pexy) was performed without complications. Dr. Reagan's postoperative follow-up was meticulous. The cosmetic outcome has been amazing! I no longer appear to be "tired."
