The interior is clean and very welcoming. Staff is polite but kind of hard to communicate with. Menu was hard to understand and asking the cashier a out different items was very complicating - mostly a language barrier. Tortas were amazing though. The name of the place is misleading. Yes they do have ice cream but make sure you consider this place to drop in for a nice lunch! I've been wanting to add more fruits and avocado to my diet so when I saw this place in passing I decided to try it. I was excited to see Milanesa on the menu because it's very hard to find here. Think South American version of Katsu, so yeah, definitely slapped that on my Torta sandwich! The milanesa was not the best I've had but overall a yummy big sandwich. The bun though, the bun on the torta is perfection!! Panini style grilled to perfectly toasty on the outside and soft and warm on the inside. Plus I got a nice banana berry smoothie to go with it. The fruit was super fresh! I got the regular instead of large but holy smokies the regular is huge! If you want Mexican fare but want something a little bit healthier and nutritious give this place a try! We came in to get a banana split, as my mom loves these and it seems we've had a hard time finding a good one. The good: the banana split was big and plenty to share among 2 people; they have Thrifty's ice cream! They add fresh strawberries to the sundae, which is a first for us but I liked. The ice cream options included coconut pineapple, which is very good. The not so good: They had no chocolate ice cream!? My mom likes a traditional banana split which typically includes strawberry, vanilla and chocolate ice cream. While we could do without vanilla, who doesn't love chocolate?? We were perplexed as to how they could not have such a popular flavor. Also, no nuts were added to the sundae. Last, there was no crushed pineapple. At $5.99 I would expect this to be a pretty amazing sundae and it was good but lacked a bit. The employees were very nice and if I was in the area I may stop in to grab a healthy juice or something. But as we were enjoying our dessert, I saw a fly buzzing around. Then, as we were leaving I went to throw our trash away and a giant mosquito was chilling on the trash can! I have been coming here for many years and the one time they totally messed up my order they failed to make it right! The lady was super rude and only gave a small piece of avocado and the chicken was super salty. It's unfortunate but they lost a loyal customer. I will not be returning here. The chicken is juicy and tender. The bread is just regular bread but fresh. The toppings are mayo and lettuce and tomato. The drink is depending what type they have available, typically horchata, watermelon, melon, limeaide type of drink. I can honestly say the horchata is delicious. They add strawberry chunks to it which is a cool add on with a good taste. The diabolitos are an amazing mangonada. Good texture not chunky and lumpy like others but smooth. They have a good amount of chamoy sauce and all the other ingredients. I have not had any issues with the staff either. They are so friendly. It almost feels as if my aunt or something is making my food they way they talk to me. It's a different must try for fruit, ice cream, and Mexican food/dessert lovers. read more

Once again Yelp nailed it!. This little place in Anaheim was mentioned in one of the weekly emails so i decided to meet a friend here for Ice cream after work.
