The whole experience felt like old-school pressure tactics: stall, wear you down, change the terms, act surprised when you don't smile and sign. I was also told multiple things by Joe that didn't match what we had already agreed to online, which made it hard to trust anything being said. What's wild is they still expected me to accept a deal that got $5k worse after I showed up. That's not negotiating. That's bait-and-switch energy. I walked. I went to another local Toyota dealer and got a deal $1,000 better than the original quote from this dealer -- and the entire experience was smoother, more transparent, and more respectful.
